  • carter was good man but a bad president

  • you. are. an. idiot.

  • Energy independence in the U.S.A will come AFTER your sons and daughters

return to the U.S.A in body bags. Your country will change its ways when the

cost becomes too much to bear. hahaha! Die fuckers!

  • Bullshit !! The American oil companies created the artificial shortage to raise prices.

  • Yes, Reagan sold the country's energy independence and now we're suffering from $90 oil. Thanks a lot MORON! Before the oil industry bought him, Glenn Beck used to say Carter could have saved us. Search: "Glenn Beck" +"Peak oil" +"jimmy carter" (IF YOU HAVE THE BALLS!)

  • @retrop75

Reagan did by the getting the government out of the way of our business, it seems you radical leftists don't care anymore except government.

  • Carter did NOT solve our energy crisis. Have you actually looked to see what our dependence on foreign oil is? Sure, we don't get as much from OPEC as we once did. We get almost as much from those two countries as the OPEC countries combined. Don't believe me? Look it up for yourself.

  • @BaldViking I forgot to put in there that we get almost as much oil from Canada and Mexico as we get from the OPEC countries combined.

  • @BaldViking we get it canda mexico south america than saudi arabia

  • @BaldViking it doesnt matter..i am 30 now..in 1999, gas was $1.25 a gallon (nearly double from 1979), milk was $1.09 a gallon, rent for a nice house was around $500, and UPS hired me as a teenager at $8.50 an hour..now, the prices of everything (except electronics) has tripled..UPS hires kids at $9.50 as general laborers today..the president, in 1979, warned the people that are now in their late 40's and up, and was told to fukk off..what have they done (they fukked us)?! we wll occupy u now HA!

  • @BaldViking What two countries as the OPEC countries combined?

  • 19 oil guzzlers voted on this.

  • July 15, 1979....long before most of the childish name-calling posters here pretending this was the solution here were born, and when Carter saw his re-election chances as basically nil. This problem existed in 1978, 1977, and 1976 while he was president and he did nothing of substance but tell people to turn their heaters down and prepare to sacrifice more. Until 1979 when his gravy train was about over.

  • Carter was a trilaterial commisson member who wants a world government.

  • Comment removed

  • @onstageagain A buck 34? Gas hasnt been below 2 bucks since it first went over 4 during the oil man in the white house days.

  • @jdesmo4 Since Obama'sin office, gas is up 87% ($2.34/gallon in 2/2009 Nat. average of $3.58 today. Last week in Ca , I paid $4.19

Rem Obama said his plan would cause energy prices to skyrocket. One promise hes kept

Filled up my Volvo yesterday @ Costco, Fountain Valley , Ca $62.03 , Gas $4.34 per gal. Its went up 20c in last 2 weeks.

Politicians R notoriously economically illiterate, even when they know what would be the right thing, we don't really expect them to do it!

  • @jdesmo4 And now that it's pushing $4 or above $4 a gallon in some places, is it still the oil mans fault? After 2 1/2 years of office, can we finally start blaming the guy that presently occupies the White House? Oh wait, the new scapegoat is the Tea Party. It's all their fault now. Mr. Hope and Change is more like Mr. Point and Blame.

  • Carter was a realist and what he said has come true, America now can be compared to the reality of the really fat guy you share an apartment with who consumes 65% of the groceries you bring in, and depends on you to prepare/refine meals and serve him his excessive portion. That of which he justifies based on the fact he keeps his portion of the rent payments on point; yet you have to keep increasing his cost cause he is dependent on your shit.

America is turning into a dystopic hegemony

  • @KoalKottentail

carter was no realest, he was a puppet and big government just like reagan was.

There is no lesser of two evils anymore, this is the evil of two lessers.

  • Reagan stopped it?.. Seriously? Reagan covered it under the rug by focussing on military development, reduced private and corporate tax cuts, and the promotion of consumer surplus and demand and pacifying the cold war.

These are great attributes for a nation state that is HEAVILY internally dependent, which america is not (declining industry and limited use of resources) Thats great when you are living in the "Now", and not looking at the now and the future.

    Continued...

  • "You're all basically f****ed"--- Gordon Gekko

  • He was right and because we didn't listen Peak Oil will PWN our asses.

  • White Obama? Unemployment + Stagflation + High Oil Price...

  • What a JOKE

  • I admire his message but he clearly underestimated the oil cartels quest for profit. The solutions to the world's oil dependancies have existed for decades now, probably since before this speech was made. But renewable energy simply isn't profitable. Or it shouldn't be, as the supply isn't scarce. I have no doubt in my mind however that once oil proves inefficient the energy companies will find a way of making it so. All in the name of profit.

  • @dynamitefan8 I agree, except that demand drives the price of consumer goods an economic feasibility makes it a reality by making it profitable for companies to invest. Whale oil was once the major oil used by the world. Demand coupled to relatively accessible large reserves of oil, technology, and scarcity of whale oil allowed the development of the oil industry.

  • "1973 Congress passes legislation allowing construction to begin on the trans-Alaska pipeline. War in the Middle East in October causes oil prices to rise from $3 to $16 per barrel."

Dumbasscrats where in power during this time. So you were saying??

  • LMAO! This fucking clown blaming on Republicans huh? Wow, nothing has changed has it! This buffoon was the second worst president in our nations history. Obama but him there b/c he's now taken first place! Fucking idiots.

  • @flyboymd82 Having the courage to come out and lay out the facts makes him a clown? If you do not think that our dependency on foreign oil is/was a national security issue, perhaps you should turn off the TV and do some history reading. Hyperbolic fools are sheep. Exaggerate much? Turn off Fox infotainment "news" please. You are hurting the gene pool with your non-sense. What you are saying is our slave owning presidents were better, the corrupt ones, and Nixon was/is better, etc.

  • @Ninetyone11 "facts"? LMAO! I don't have to watch FOX new or anything else to know this jerk is a buffoon, I LIVED thru his reign of terror & Embarrassment.

I absolutely know our dependency on foreign oil is a national security issue, FOX news & Republicans WANT US INDEPENDANT from foreign oil. The moron we have in the Whitehouse(along with the rest of the Democrats) does everything they can to stop that from happeneing. Remember how they made fun of "Drill baby drill"?

  • @falcondriver100

and the dumbocrats are just as bad too

    fuck the two party system

    END THE DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY.

  • Too bad US screwed up by throwing Republicans in office

  • @czarcastik We deserve what we vote/don't vote for. Sheep have taken over our voting process because of apathetic voters that only vote for President (which has the least impact on voters lives by the way).

  • We all know Liberals are Idiots. That goes with out saying but why do they smell so bad?

  • @RealPolyester

Are you serious? If so you are a parasite that needs to be squashed immediately. Parasites are bad.

  • @TOPOFFMAN Thanks, very insightful.

  • @TOPOFFMAN Compliment. It's written: compliment.

  • @HoGraz compliment. thanks.

  • @TOPOFFMAN No prob bro.

  • @HoGraz I did like Billy Carter. He would have been a better president. His "Billy Beer" cans are collectors items.

  • @TOPOFFMAN I could go for a Billy Beer right now. You might be onto something.

  • we need to stop grouping into these huge corporations...we are individual human beings...stop the slavery over your brothers and sisters

  • If you knew anything about the economy and how enrergy it is at the vary core of our economy, then you would realize that this great man was the last real leader this country has had. When we kicked him out for Ronald Reagan and the 4 big oil puppets that came after him we started down the road to the end of our great county as a world leader. Now it is truely too late.

  • @sawthesunatnight

yes it is too late and I hope the reagan democrats are suffering too,it is them that got ronnie elected.

  • @MrTabby5000 They are suffering. Reagan Dems were laborers primarily from the midwest and northeast that worked in industries that are either dead or dying now. I do not believe its too late however. Many of these same people can be put back to work in good paying jobs if we move forward in the exploration and production of alternative energy. Just as it is a mistake for Obama to reign in our space program because of its negative affects on furthering tech., "drill baby drill" does the same.

  • Ever since this speech was made, Brazil was the only country that took energy independence seriously. They produce all of their own fuel mostly from ethanol, somthing the US could easily do from the vast resources of land for ethanol here. The critics claim the myth that it will drive the price of food crops up. The truth here at alcohol can be a gas com All cars can be converted to run on ethanol for as low as $200, if the car says flex-fuel its ready for ethanol right now.

  • @davejoson If only we had listened because if Brazil can be energy independent, then the US could be as well. It's still possible. And it would put a lot of people to work creating with good jobs creating new technology in the process of doing it. That's just what the economy needs as we continue to replace manufacturing jobs with low paying service jobs.

  • @jmjfanss And also by cutting off the special interests that politicians in both parties are being paid to protect.

  • The scolding of a nation, by it's dictator. cir.1979

  • Energy could've been a winning Economic Issue for President Carter if he focused more on Production of american Energy Resources

  • it takes a real man to look you square in the eye and lie to you at the same time. i did not have sex with that woman monica lewensky, same look same tone same eveything.

  • Malaise forever!

  • carter: best president

  • Anyone who thumbs this down is in denial and probably hated Carter before they even heard him speak.

  • @TOPOFFMAN And alot of Americans should have been scolded. We consume far more than we produce and its only getting worse...

  • @AlizarinRipley I bet you have done more than your share, of "Consuming" more than you produce. You are probably one of those idiots, that wait in line for 2 days for an I Phone or the latest X Box.

  • @TOPOFFMAN How could I not? I have to drive to work don't I? But I don't have much of a choice with how fuel efficient my vehicle is. I drive a car now that gets 33MPG HWY which is sad because we had cars in the 1940's that got the same gas mileage. Anytime I eat at a fast food restaurant or use plastic bags for my groceries I contribute to the problem but I try to limit it the best I can. We all consume this crap together and its time for all of us to tighten our belts. Look how fat we are.....

  • @AlizarinRipley I agree with some of what you say. I believe that those "true liberals" you mention do exist. But, they aren't democrats. They can be found in the libertarian party. As for our consumption of resources. I believe they are here for us to use, but not to waste. I recycle, and I drive a small fuel efficient car.

  • @AlizarinRipley You are almost right about Obama. Just calling him a liberal doesn't go far enough. I wish he was just another liberal. But, he is beyond just that. Radical, Authoritarian, and dictator, and populist are more fitting. He is well schooled by the Alinsky methods, and the "Chicago way". To fool the masses into thinking that he is fighting for them. When he is taking control over them. One increment at the time. one increment at the time........

  • @TOPOFFMAN Are you fucking shitting me? Liberals are more for control of industry so they dont fuck over the people, and Obama's policies are anything BUT liberal. He is letting industry run a fucking muck. You have to be stupid to think Obama is a liberal. That motherfucker is conservative to the bone. And if not, then he has no fucking backbone to fight off the crazy lunatic fringe we call republicans. I didnt think he was gonna bring "change," but this shit is too fucked up.

  • Your selective knowledge of history is interesting. The fact is, Carter was a weak president. That is why he lost in a landslide cir.1980. The Obama administration is even worse. This man has an agenda, to circumvent the constitution to seize power like no one before him. And I am sure, you are on the sidelines, cheering him on. As for your concern for the middle class,There will be no middle class if this man is not stopped. That is why I believe that history will repeat itself again. LANDSLIDE

  • TOPOFFMAN -'Your selective knowledge of history is interesting. The fact is, Carter was a weak president.'-

    -

So you prefer to cower from the discussion, AGAIN.

    -

Carter and Clinton were attacked by the media - same as Obama is.

    -

Everybody criticizes what Obama -'is not doing'-; ignoring the [all time] historic Repub. Congressional obstruction. Against what they were for 3 years ago !

    -

    cont

  • @hackit12 The Republicans have no power to stop anything right now. If they obstruct, I applaud them for doing so. The Obama administration, seems to think that they get everything they want, and do anything they please. But, There is a thing called checks and balances. And the Supreme court. So stop your whining. This is not a monarchy.

  • @TOPOFFMAN The Republicans will probably win a great number of seats of in both houses of Congress this year; Nancy Pelosi will probably loose her seat as House Speaker. The Republicans prbably will not have the landslide victory as they did in the revolution of 1994.

  • @TOPOFFMAN There is a chance though that Obama might pull it off and get reelected in 2012 if the economy rebounds just as Clinton did in 1996. Then again, no president since 1872 has been reelected in year that ends with two; most of you probably don't know that.

  • @67nairb I don't see a recovery to match Clinton's. The reason is Obama's hatred of American free enterprise. Obama might not even receive his own party's nomination, if the economy stays like it is now. Americans historically, vote with their pocketbooks. If that holds true, Obama is out! Lets hope.

  • @TOPOFFMAN I don't think the economy was all that great in Clinton's second term. It's true. I had a job during his administration, but I was working two and they were part time. Some conservative Republicans say the only reason the economy did so well on Clinton's watch was because of Reaganomics.

  • @67nairb Ronald Reagan's policies, set up more than a decade of prosperity. Even after he left office. Clinton had it easy. The toughest thing that he ever had to do each morning , was to wake up next to Hillary!

  • @67nairb LOL! You have a good sense of humor. But Clinton didn't have it easy in his first term as president. Remember there was a big economic recession when he took office in 1993 and continued into 94 which led to the Republicans landslide victory in the midterm elections and both President Clinton and House Speaker Newt Gingrich were fighting amongst themselves so hard that they shut down the government.

  • @67nairb I wish, that we had that "big economic recession" of 93" right now! I look back at that 93' recession, as the "GOOD TIMES" $=). Things really suck right now. We have a commerce hater as president at this moment. He has a twisted view about this country.

  • @TOPOFFMAN Some people think that the United States is heading towards another great depression like we did in the 1930s, only worse. Some even think that inflation will spiral out of control and we'll have a revival of what Germany went through in 1923.

  • @67nairb You are so right. In addition to that, businesses are afraid of what the government is going to do to them.next. they are not hiring anyone. They are cutting back, and downsizing. How is that helping? This government oppression towards business, is by design.

  • @TOPOFFMAN He's a Marxist.

  • @hackit12 I have been to whitehouse.gov. It is a fantasy-land website, designed for young people. Young students that have been successfully liberally indoctrinated. One would think that Barack Obama, was the father of our country after you log off!

  • TOPOFFMAN -'blah ...

    -

Sorry I forgot you are clueless and obstinate ... and cower from ever discussion !

  • @hackit12 Blah. indeed. Just follow your leader. And do, as he tells you to do. And tell VP Bite-Me to "bite-me!

  • @TOPOFFMAN So would it be fair to say that you are Conservatively indoctrinated? Because the only people I ever hear say someone is "liberally indoctrinated" are those who have there heads up the Conservative ass! ;P

  • @AlizarinRipley No that would not be fair. I have a mind of my own. And, my world view, comes from life experience, and knowledge of human nature. When conservatives screw up, it makes me mad. So, I don't have my head up anybody's ass. But I know this much....Liberalism is a mental disorder. In other words, you go along to get along. I say NO WAY. Carter and Obama, talk to the masses, like they are their children. This is an insult to my intelligence. It should be to yours as well.

  • @TOPOFFMAN I liked the first half of your response. However I don't think you know as much about Liberalism as you think. Obama is not a true Liberal, he's more of a moderate. True Liberals believe in limited government and a strong free market. In fact, todays "Conservatives" stole many of their ideas from classical liberalism, sanctioned themselves then started a war with the "liberals." Its stupid mindless babble. Its almost like someone is working both parties just to divide the country.

  • @AlizarinRipley As for the "stupid mindless babble". This country has always had that. The thing that has made it seem more divisive, is the media that we have today. 24 hour news, talk shows, The internet blogsesphere. getting news on your phone. We get the news today, as it happens, and they can quickly spin the story, when they think they can get away with it. And this can sway public opinion one way or the other. according to their politics.

  • @hackit12 The "mainstream media" definitely has a liberal bias and normally supports Democrats, particularly liberal Democrats.

  • FYI the media bashed Nixon, Reagan, and both Bushs when they were presidents.

  • @67nairb If the Gulf oil disaster had happened under George W Bush's watch They would be talking impeachment. But not with Obama. The liberal media carries the water for all democrat presidents. It makes me mad as hell, the things they let this man (Obama) get away with! They really wanted to get Reagan, but they had nothing. Reagan knew the the liberal media's tactics. That's why they referred to him as the "Teflon president". I loved it !!

  • YOU'RE RIGHT!

  • 67nairb -'media bashed Nixon, Reagan, and both Bushs'-

    -

And rightfully so - all impeachable !

Nixon, conspired with N. Vietnam. to help win the 1968 election, covered up Watergate, etc.

Reagan illegally ran wars against Congress in C. America, supplied arms to both sides of the Iraq-Iran war. etc.

Bush I, immediately upon entering office gave immunity to people still being investigated over Iran-Contra; that implicated himself.

Bush II, 9/11 negligence, lies to Iraq War, torture, etc.

  • @hackit12 STFU

  • @hackit12 Can you please cite your source of Nixon conspiring with the North Vietnamese to get him elected in 1968?

  • 67nairb -'Nixon conspiring with the North Vietnamese'-

    -

NEW INVENTION A THING CALLED GOOGLE ...

    -

Nixon conspiring with the North Vietnamese

  • @hackit12 Pardon my ignorance but what does Google have to do with Nixon conspiring with the North Vietnamese?

  • @hackit12 I bet you had no problem with Nixon, meeting Chairman Mao. Also, So what if Nixon "conspired with the Vietnamese" Obama bows down to our enemies, and, when they have their chats, I think that could be defined as "conspiring" with the enemy as well. You can spin that stuff any kind of way you want. LOL.

  • @TOPOFFMAN -'I think that could be defined as '-

    -

Not surprised ... you say that - -'can't fix stupid'- !

... protocol; every previous president has done the same ... !

  • @hackit12 Excuses, excuses.

  • @TOPOFFMAN Chairman Mao Tse-tung murdered 70 million of his own people; more people than Hitler and Stalin murdered combined. Yet Mao's atrocities are hardly touched. To most Chinese, Mao is a God.

  • @hackit12 Let me ask you this. Would you prefer that the Democrats control all seats in the Senate and the House of Representives? Do think that every president should be a Democrat? Do think all 50 states have Democratic govenors? Do think all justices in the U.S. Supreme Court be liberal Democrats? Do you believe in a one party system?

  • @hackit12 FYI only two presidents in American history were impeached and they were both Democrats.

  • 67nairb 'media bashed '-

COWERING FROM THE DISCUSSION - AGAIN

  • @hackit12 Maybe so, but the only two president in U.S. history who were impeached were Democrats; Andrew Johnson in 1868 and Bill Clinton 1998. Btw Johnson had been an all out racist who had emancipation of Negro slaves during the Civil War.

  • @hackit12 I Excuse me, I forgot to add the word oppose in my comment to you. Andrew Johnson opposed the emancipation of Negro slaves during the Civil War.

BTW I bet you're one of those guys who thought that Ronald Reagan's presidential election comittee in 1980 made a dirty deal with Iranian government to keep the American hostages in Iran until Reagan defeated Carter in the November election.

  • @hackit12 Obviously liberalism is considered "Elitist" these days cause the only people with NORMAL functioning brains recognize these patterns and can get past the bullying by the REAL elites who control everything and degrade everyone's life in order to soak up the resources. Funny how we had a liberal government for years and even all CONSERVATIVE politicians had to speak of democracy. Now we have "Conservativism" which is code word for Fascism and "Socialism" which is code word for Conservati

  • Chill out people, what the fuck?

Anyway, I was not a huge fan of Carter, but he got his energy policy spot-on.

Carter: a great human being, but a terrible president.

  • @SpeedingStudent Chill out "people"????? I can only think of one person who needs to chill out. Why can't you see it?????? That sick angry nutjob MypasswordisUser is the only moron in here wishing death upon people who have a different "opinion" than that sick SOB. So stop being a fool and a coward, there is nothing wrong with being direct and taking a stand.

  • @cnsrvtvsrule It's alright man. I know the Internet is "serious business", but really.

Back to the topic at hand: Carter had his energy policy right. It's a damn shame we veered so far from his plan. This is coming from a gearhead that owns two motorcycles and a car.

Even I can see the writing is on the wall, even with fuel at $245/gallon locally. It's only a matter of time before we run out.

  • @SpeedingStudent If you were truly living up to "Carter's had his energy plan right", Then I think, that it's "a damn shame" that you personally " veered so far from his plan" That you own 3 oil burning vehicles. And maybe 4, if you count your petrol spewing lawn mower, or leaf blower. or chain saw. Just a thought.

  • @TOPOFFMAN Just a thought back at you-My car is a Suzuki Swift 3 cylinder. My motorcycles get insanely good MPG, and I live in an apartment--no leafblower necessary.

I don't own a '69 Chevelle or Suburban, but I'll be goddamned if I live like a Beta male because others are enjoying petrol.

  • @SpeedingStudent Petrol is an earth provided resource. It is to be used responsibly. I believe in it's usage , but not in it's wastefulness.

  • @TOPOFFMAN I agree, friend. But I will still watch and enjoy the 24 Hours of LeMans every year, and yes, it uses a LOT of petrol. lol

  • @SpeedingStudent That's what it's here for! To BURN! The earth burns in it's core. . The oil was created. To burn again. If not by man, then by the earth again. Petrol, Wonderful Petrol!

  • @TOPOFFMAN I agree 100%.

  • @SpeedingStudent That was supposed to read "$2.45/gallon"

  • @SpeedingStudent Jimmy Carter is an ignorant, weak, Jew hating, excuse maker for the muslim butchers in the mid east. The American people let Carter know what they thought of his idiotic regressive policies in November 1980, he lost 44 states remember. we should be drilling off both coasts, in Anwar, we should be using our abundant coal resources, nuclear, we should be giving serious tax breaks for renewable energy technology. But we do nothing and Obama Bin Laden is fixated on Cap & Tax. Why?

  • @cnsrvtvsrule I agree with all of this. I am not arguing with you.

However, I think we should stop meddling in the mideast. Let Israel defend herself.

I don't hate the jews. In fact, I rather love and admire them for their accomplishments. However, America should avoid foreign entanglements, as Washington once said.

Cap&Tax is about destroying our economy, and controlling the people. Obama and his handlers want a socialist utopia. Only then can they destroy the constitution.

  • @SpeedingStudent Your rather simplistic and naive view of the middle east would be most damaging to the US not just Israel. "To stop meddling in the mid east" is simply code for let the sand monkeys stuck in the 12th century take their best shot at destroying the only freedom loving society in that sand sewer. Like I wrote earlier to u, at some point u need to be a man and take a direct stand. U earlier "lectured" everyone to control themselves when only one nutjob was wishing death upon.....

  • @cnsrvtvsrule There will NEVER be peace in the middle east. Israel is a big kid, and has nukes. They can defend themselves. My nation should not police the world.

Close all our bases, and focus on Americans. Friends to everyone, enemies to no one. Sink or swim.

I have taken a stand, quit insulting me. It makes you look like an emotional child.

Dude, take a chill pill. This is YouTube, not a session of Congress.

  • @SpeedingStudent Your approach to world affairs is as simplistic as it is naive. With all due respect, your "friends to everyone enemy of no one" approach is a prime example of your cowardice. should we have taken that stand during the two world wars of the last century? "It's OK Germany, put those innocents in ovens we want to be liked by u." It's Ok Soviet Bolsheviks, enslave half the world and force them to live under your backwardssystem of death and oppression, we want to be liked by u."

  • @cnsrvtvsrule Now I know you are a troll. In WWII we were ATTACKED.

Re-read Washington's farewell address. he had more wisdom than you have.

We are in NO position to police the world. It is not our right. I treat others as I like to be treated. Let other nations handle their own affairs. What you advocate is essentially welfare for other nations, at OUR expense!

    Nonsense.

  • @SpeedingStudent U really must be on drugs. Japan attacked us and prompted our entry into the War; however, our war strategy was to defeat Germany first. According to your idiotic logic we should have focused all our resources in the Pacific. I do not believe in being the world's cop, but we do have an obligation and a right to express our belief in freedom and individual rights for all. That is a concept lost on the rest of the world.

  • @SpeedingStudent those with a different opinion than he had. U were too much of a coward to "lecture" the one who was wishing death upon others and instead chose to take the easy way out and attempt to "lecture" us all even though only one was at fault. U take the same weak pathetic stand towards the middle east by being too cowardly to stand up for freedom and stand against tyranny. Either that or u r not intelligent enough to figure out who is right and who is wrong.

  • @cnsrvtvsrule I wasn't a coward. I don't care if someone threatens me on the internet. I'm not a moderator on YouTube, just a commenter. Grow up.

We have meddled in the mid-east for over 60 years and what has it gotten us? terrorists who feel indignation against my nation and the West as a hole, why?

Because we are telling them how to live, and killing their people. How would you feel if a foreign nation stationed troops in your country, and started killing your people? Hypocrite.

  • @SpeedingStudent As usual u continue to make excuses for the murderers and butchers in the Muslim world. "OH how they hate us because we have bases in their coutries" Last I checked, in 1990, they were begging us to come in there and save them from the other Hussein. So we can have bases and military personnel there while people in Kuwait are being slaughtered and the Saudis are scared shitless. But once we save their 12th century sand monkey asses its time to leave? Is that about right?

  • @cnsrvtvsrule I make excuses for anyone. You want to tell 2 billion nutjobs how to live? Good fucking luck, dumbass.

They hate us not for our freedom, but because we are in their backyard telling them how to live. How can you be so fucking dense? You must have an IQ under 80.

  • @SpeedingStudent Hey moron, if u weren't so dumb you'd be funny. They hate us because we r FREE. What about that r u too stupid to understand. This nation won a Cold War against a nation that sought to enslave the world without firing a shot. The US, most importantly through the leadership of President Reagan, used ideas, beliefs and our founding documents to demonstrate what an "Evil Empire" the Soviet Bolsheviks were and are. This nation helped lead Eastern Europe out of slavery.

  • @cnsrvtvsrule What you advocate is the antithesis of the independence and freedom my nation's founding documents support.

I believe Israel has a right to exist, yes. I love the Jews, personally. I'm an atheist, and I don't believe in scriptures or invisible men in the sky.

But I do believe in not telling people how to live thier lives, as I don't want them doing the same to me. I think this is called the "Golden Rule", look it up.

  • @SpeedingStudent "don't worry u backwards Muslims its OK to subject your women to slavery and oppression because u men are sexually frustrated deviants and u know if your women had a choice they would reject u and your pedophile prophet." But they r angry because we "tell" them how to live? What u will never be intelligent enough to understand is, simply by our existance as a free nation we "tell" people how to live. These people would still hate us even if we stopped communicating with all....

  • @cnsrvtvsrule God, you are a fool. Interventionist foreign policy is no way to success.

Is it working right now in Iraq, Afghanistan? Is it working when we have no stated mission, no definition of success? We are just there, killing and getting killed.

We are wasting untold billions of dollars and thousands of our best in uniform, and for what? For empire?

We need to focus on Americans. Stop spending money we don't have and focus on our nation. Fuck everyone else, look at the Swiss.

  • @SpeedingStudent If we had followed your cowardly, simplistic and naive appraoach we would have lost the Cold War and Eastern europe would still be enslaved by the Soviet Bolsheviks. The world hates our ideals, our freedoms, the fact thAT we unlike any other nation puts the individual ahead of the state, the fact that our rights are God given and do not come from any person or state or Congress, the fact that no person can take those rights away. That is Y the tryants of the world hate us.

  • @SpeedingStudent nations. Liberal regressive morons r not the real threat to this nation and freedom around the world. Weak people like u r the real threat because u lack the courage and intelligence call out oppression, racism, sexism, slavery, tyranny, and evil around the world. When young girls are attacked in the mid east for wanting to go to school or for talking to a man that is not their husband, we should be silent? Your cowardice and stupidity is what makes u a danger.

  • @cnsrvtvsrule You are such and Internet Tough Guy, and a White Knight.

We have no right to tell other nations how to run themselves.

You would become violent if some foreign nation stationed a base near your house, took your girlfriend and made halfbreed children with her through rape, and killed your fellow countrymen.

But yeah, keep pounding that wardrum, idiot. You know nothing of history. Through our loose fiscal policy and interventionism we will destroy ourselves.

  • @SpeedingStudent I was not nor have I ever supported our policy in either Iraq or Afghanistan. We should have simply killed Saddam and all his sick offspring and turned every mountain in Afghanistan into a parking lot. Once we went into Iraq I support the troops, those people have a chance to be free, Y does that trouble so many so much?????????????? I don't want to tell other nations how to run themselves, but we should not remain silent when we see tyranny. I'm not internet tough guy.....

  • @SpeedingStudent but I do know a coward and an idiot when I see one. This nation has been a shinin g example to the rest of the world. Some have fought to be more like us while other have fought to keep what they viewed as the threat of freedom out of the minds of their enslaved people. Grow up u fool, Muslims hate us because we don't enslave our women, our society is open, we r not sexually frustrated and confused, we don't follow a pedophile God, and our women are encoured to go to school.

  • @cnsrvtvsrule I will no longer respond to your condescending remarks. You are far from rational, and cannot debate me, issue for issue. You just repeat yourself, again and again.

Good day to you. By the way, I'm no coward, I pack heat.

  • @SpeedingStudent U just can't take the fact that I destroyed eve
