  • At all the religious haters and savers. I ran into my kebab guy recently. He is always smiling. Im white Aussi. Hes Sri Lankan. He saixd he likes it when we talk. Can see im good & happy on the inside then asked if i wish to come to his mosque. I told him i believe in a higher source but not religion. He smiled & explained. If your from another country.think of a stae 4 hrs away from u. He stated we are all trying to get to Melbourne. Some by bus, train, plane, car etc. There are many routes to get

  • He eats cooked now

  • Very good video here David. For me it really enforces the need to seek out people more knowledgeable than ourselves when starting/maintaining this extraordinary lifestyle. 3

Having a great mentor is vital for our success and whether you we find this through a youtube channel like David', a book or other service or someone we know personally, having an open mind and continuing to learn is paramount for your health.

  • Now do not get me incorrect but I've been looking on Google for some healthy & effective eating plan plan and I found this unknown eating plan referred to as DietOramy - I am sticking to the process specified and I'm having a good deal of outstanding achievement, and I'm still consuming just like before, without having desire for food, just a bit varied food...

  • Does David Wolfe consume Colostrum like I've been reading?

  • @crosswind76 well......he sell's it! :'(

if you want to know how to really thrive on a raw diet, read 80/10/10 by DrDougGraham

  • God loves you very much, and whoever believes that Jesus Christ the Son of God died for their sins, was buried and rose again will have eternal life in Heaven. “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved,” - Acts 16:31 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” - Romans 10:13

  • @JesusPaid4You He's probably Jewish. So save it.

  • @MsSweetRaven1 I bet he's part Jewish and part Italian.

  • @JesusPaid4You Like me. ;)

  • @MsSweetRaven1 That's cool.

  • @MsSweetRaven1 And if you hold to your Jewish side as far as religious beliefs, Jesus is the Jewish Messiah.

  • @JesusPaid4You That's not true. Jews do not believe in Jesus' existence or that the Messiah has come yet. You're thinking Christianity or Islam.

  • @MsSweetRaven1 No, I'm thinking about the one true God of Israel, whose Son is Jesus Christ, the Jewish Messiah. I live in Florida, and I know many Jews who realized Jesus is their Messiah. All you have to do to be saved is believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for your sins, was buried and rose again.

  • @JesusPaid4You According to Judaism, they are no longer Jews, but Christians if they believe in Jesus. Jews do not believe Jesus was the Messiah. They do not believe he has come yet. Muslims believe in Jesus Christ, but they believe he was a prophet. They do not believe the dying on the cross and raising from the dead part. However, they do believe that Jesus is the one coming back when Armaggedeon (sp) happens.

  • @MsSweetRaven1 Muslims do not trust in Jesus for salvation. You're right- they say He is a prophet and not the Son of God because they follow a Satanic book. But we have the word of God, which says Jesus is God's Son and there is evidence in His resurrection from the dead. 100s of witnesses. He did many miracles also. You are still a Jew if you believe in Jesus. I know many. They are on their way to Heaven.

  • @JesusPaid4You Wake up man. Do some reading. Drop the 'satanic book' nonsense. Most religious source texts speak of love and the Koran is no different. Bible- 'God is love'. 'God is Spirit'. People like u who foolishly imagine that Jesus would high-5 u for talking such hate speech are totally deluded. Deal with ur fear head on and u won't need to believe anything to be 'saved'. There is a muslim somewhere saying the same thing about christians quoting his book and he is just as deluded as you.

  • Worst diet ever.

  • @Jordonification youre talking about your own diet, right?

  • @ffafii Nope. I'm talking about DW's diet. It blows my mind though why people listen to him because he's fat. I don't get it. Why would I listen to the dietary advice of a fat person? Must be all the "superfoods" that chub him out.

  • Just came to me today, but he portrays himself as some spiritual hippie...yet he couldn't be further from it. He advocates Goji Berries to people in North America...They grow in Asia! So much for the whole "local food" movement...Not only does he advocate these exotic foods, but he also SELLS them. Definitely not an environmentalist. Eat local, eat organic, eat fruits and vegetables, drink lots of water, get most of your protein from plants, some (if you choose) from animals. Recipe for success.

  • @MichaelBallack91 Actually Goji berries grow wild in Arizona.

  • @MichaelBallack91

Actually Goji berries can grow in the USA too. I live in Colorado and my neighbor grows organic Goji berries and sells them to our local organic grocery store. Just fyi:)

  • i never looked at the chewing efect in this way...thank you...

  • Con artist

  • You Tube should be a vehical for having positive conversations that help us all move forward into a higher state of consciousness. Instead, there are those whose apparent SOLE purpose is to destroy and insert hate and negative confusion and chaos. I have to wonder WHY that is??? hmmmm.. Get over yourselves!

  • the fact of the matter is that everyone should be doing their own research. NO ONE should fall down and worship ANYONE ..

David Wolf does have some interesting and POSITIVE information to share. Does that mean he is a "guru"? Does that mean you should drop what you are doing and follow him entirely? No. get over yourselves already. Wake up and do something productive than slamming folks who are trying to make some positive changes!!!!

  • I find it interesting that a lot of the "haters" and negative comments are from folks who either have removed their You Tube Account OR have barely have any You Tube Presence. Interesting. Can you say 'drive by" slammers? .. You Tube is notorious for this ridiculous behavior. I see folks who just troll around on You Tube and SLAM SLAM SLAM with no evidence to support their position. The individuals don't even have any credibility because they just wierdly "disappear"

  • @Caelidh no i think you'll find he sued them all

  • Wow great foods nicely talked about.

  • I have kale almost everyday. I make kale smoothies. I wish my parents brought me up on this. It feels great. I also throw in an organic free range RAW egg yolk. ..or cold smoked fish which is raw.

  • Thanks for the video

  • I like to eat a roast Duck now and again. I hope Obama won't pass a law to make that illegal claiming it makes too big a carbon footprint.

  • @silencerainbows But I must tell you I am thinking about giving it up.. I love my duck and feed them every day and they trust me. And then one day well......it's really sad in a way. But still it's more honest than buying a pack of plastic wrapped meat in the super market and you don't even think that you made an animal suffer for your fat belly...........

  • @silencerainbows Sometimes I feel like....oh come on it's just a duck and she had a good life and you were very friendly to her and now she feeds you! My duck have a pond and they are free range and can graze on the lawn.

I feed them a lot because that makes them happy. Sometimes I feel I should jsut keep my most favorite duck as a pet and that's it. Well ...to be honest with you I'm still not sure....Has anyone a helpful suggestion?

  • Kind of conflicting. He says in the beginning that he eats this, this, this, and this... then at the end he says oh yeah, I have all juice and a small herb salad and that's basically all I eat. (??)

  • NOTE TO ALL FANS OF DAVID AVOCADO WOLFE: Avocado is no longer affiliated with Sunfood dotcom or Sunfood products -- for over 2 years now. He recommends the products at LongevityWarehouse dotcom now! (See his Facebook Fan Page for more information in his own words!)

  • Here is what you do eat greens and veg. with some lean MEAT

  • @RedTailedTuna and fruit!

  • @silencerainbows to much sugar

  • @RedTailedTuna You don't have to eat a whole bucket full....just a little at the time. I love fresh grapes and apples and Feijoas and Guavas, Tomatoes and oranges etc.. they are so yummy!

  • @silencerainbows What on earth is a Feijoas??????

  • @RedTailedTuna AFeijoa is a green fruit about the size of a lemon and is white inside and tastes a bit like guava and pineapple.

  • Now he puts down fruit, and promotes dairy, deer antler and chocolate

  • His voice reminds me of Terrence Mckenna ;p Too many supplement stuff to buy and take. He should streamline all this from a basic package to a VIP one. He seems to know his stuff BUT it starts to get into buy so many supplements (from him?)

  • “The whole raw food fad is a fantasy."

    – Rudolf Steiner, 1924

“In the early 1960s, I became a vegetarian, and stayed strictly vegetarian for almost two years. But I contracted hepatitis and I went back to my old regime.”

    – The Dalai Lama, 2004

My sister stopped being vegetarian after reading the following two pages: scribd.com/doc/29583992

    (Zoom in to read)

Raw foodists are nice people though! But I feel they need to be more informed ;)

  • @FIRSTconcentrate For MOST people, raw is a fad - because they do it wrong. Same with vegetarianism. Not only do they do veg wrong(cooked, too much protein (overcompensating), veg junk food), but it's wrong to begin with: it includes dairy. The way to do it is spelled VEGAN. No animal products. I've done it for 17 years...No prob.

And the way to do raw is:

    * Fruit-based

    * don't go nuts for nuts

    * Don't go Kuku for Cacao

    * Don't stress out

    * Get sun and exercise

  • The guy eats meat. Just ask anyone who's spent time with him. It's such a farce. Almost all of these raw food gurus lie about everything from how raw they are to their age to their background, etc.. Really disgusting how these people get away with it and keep conning unsuspecting naive people into buying their expensive fake potions. Veggies and Fruits, nuts and seeds ARE superfoods and they are right in your back yard or at your farmer's market.

  • I love raw. It's been 11 weeks and I keep learning from those who have done it a long time.

  • this guy is a reptilian and offering disinfo.. raw foodists are starting to come forward relating experiences of adrenal burnout and dental issues from daily use. we should keep raw moderate and pay attention to our body.

  • Great vidio

  • hahaha "superfoods" as if the grapefruit is less super than say the godji berry. This guy is talking shit people, believe me, you don't have to buy his fraud-food to realise that you can feel just as "super" by eating an apple instead of what the Incas ate before going to war. Seriously, if you're not going to War anytime soon or in need of the strength of five pythons to kill your enemy then stop buying these fraud-foods that market health as if you can only get it at a premium. Such lies!

  • @smurfieboo

If someone ever said to you that eating grapes is stupid (I believe in superfoods and COULD NOT live without grapes, pure precious grapes) tell him that he's an idiot.

'Superfoods' is merely a new hip term for foods that contain the most high amounts of vitamins and proteins and other essential stuff.

And making it to a new hip cult is a way to make some people healthy.

  • @SlipAllCityToy bullshit. Superfoods have not been scientifically proven to contain the highest amount of vitamins, it's just marketing. And you also fail to notice that it's not a hip cult that people are buying into, it's the other false marketing idea that high cost food is the most healthy. This David guy is a Wolf that's for sure.

  • @smurfieboo

They take great exotic foods from all over the world, give it a hip term and then sell it with a high price.

For instance, the young people would much rather eat "SuperPowerFastUberWeightLossMiracle" than cabbage if it would be the same thing.

Nonetheless cabbage is still a great food and no matter how people market it it's gonna be great.

This is the step between sick and healthy for many people and that's a good thing.

  • Great video but why do americans say erbs instead of herbs?

  • Scam artist

  • Thank you for this. I am a Falun Gong practitioner. Falun Dafa is a cultivation system in the Buddha School based on the principles of the Universe:

    真 Truthfulness

    善 Compassion

    忍 Forbearance.

Since 1999 it has been brutally persecuted by the CCP in China.

  • ...how can this guy say that vegetables can be too powerful... wild or not.... same with fruits u cant get enough. If ur buying into this you need to do research and perhaps test this shit out for urself youll find that this guy has diarerha of the mouth. what hes saying is shit. If you think hes smart its bc hes confusing you by talking in circles.

  • Ive been a strict vegetarian for most of my life but I never mix fruit with veg I must say that I just don't know how people survive on fast foods

  • funny how there is no health & fitness section on youtube. conspiracy?

  • If you slow down and chew your raw food longer you can eat even less. We live in a world that is hyper-everything. Get it fast, do it fast, faster, fastest. If we watched man in raw nature eons ago I would bet he savored a few berries, nuts, seeds etc he foraged for. The foods we get are all gathered and too easy to use so we have a hard time slowing down. Slowing down in everything we do will allow us to use less food, protein and allow our body and mind to blossom beyond comprehension.

  • @MormonManUtah I don't enjoy that (chewing raw food that is). I like throwing everything in my vitamix and gulping it down (I know some people advocate "chewing" your smoothies, like this guy does, but i dont do that either). I don't disagree with what you're saying, I just don't think it's practical for me. And I still eat foods I enjoy, like steaks, pizzas, etc, but I am gradually decreasing those things. I have had days where I have not eaten any meat, which was unheard of for me before.

  • he looks awesome :)

  • hair cut has to go man...

  • DW, how come your not in great shape? Im not trying to be rude but by promoting health, you need diet and exercise.

  • I think he is going for the Ali Babba look!

  • David you rock the house on Raw Food. What is your favorite Raw Superfood?

  • @rawfoodguys What ever he can sell you. Although I agree with much of his teachings he places a huge amount of emphisis on his super foods. They are a large part of his income. Search you tube or the net. Phytoplankton is his current baby.

  • Always good to consider this point of view

  • i took on a liquid diet today and this evening i had four liquid poops.

  • @ejb40plp

Poop is good for the planet

  • @hellspawnds I did my part today.

  • I get the feeling that most of the people leaving negative comments on this page

    are NOT raw.

Sadly I also get the vibe that they've never even tried it! Once your raw, you feel so balanced that the negativity and judgments tend to melt away.

    I'm 80/20 Raw/Cooked. And I eat 100 percent Vegan

I feel awesome and I hope you guys can come with us. You'll need to give things a chance and take a step out of your comfort zones in order to experience this paradise.

    -happiness.

  • @calico992

    I hear you, I lost 45lbs in 3 months when I went 75-80% raw.

  • fish and meat. being a vegan is fine, but in a tight spot out in the bush, dont be afraid of hunting for food or fishing for it. so you chicks and cats, keep Conan and Xena alive in the back of youre mind. you may need them!

  • Raw meat, especially rabbit, is an excellent source of nutrition that often isn't mentioned in videos like this...

  • @JesusonlyYou1 Plus low in fat

  • DanielVitalis.BlogSpot.Com

  • I would have to disagree. I observed raw foodists for many years and they were not far healthier. IN general, they were a narsissistic pain in the ass. The mental state of the population is due to processed foods, pharmaceutical drugs, lack of sleep, overstimulation with television and other media, and other factors, but certainly not due to cooked foods. Raw foodists have only part of the story- look to the Weston price foundation for the rest.

  • A liquid diet does not sound very balanced to me.

  • @casey10614 why? As long as you are getting the nutrition who gives a crap how its consumed? Also, a liquid diet allows one to absorb a hell of a lot more nutrition than with solid food consumption.

  • Online Asian wives **lushfmlk.info**

  • he looks healthier in his older videos

  • Why is large amounts of green juice a day over a long period of time not good.

  • u can become over alkaline??? what are the symptoms.. long life??

  • After watching "Change Your Food, Change Your Life" I decided to try a vegan diet. I cut dairy products completely and lost 10 lbs in less than 2 weeks.

The following week, I saw "Food Matters" and "The Beautiful Truth" and decided to go raw! We got an Omega juicer and have already gotten more than our money's worth out of that thing! Raw, organic juice is delicious AND healthy!!! And it's great to not have to cook and clean a bunch of pots and pans too!

  • Good info, but he is contradicting himself almost at the end of the video from what he says at the begining about his diet.

  • This guy is smart and seems nice, but he should lose his "guru" outfit and get a more republican haircut ;) Then people won't feel a cultist vibe and be scared off, but listen instead and give it a shot :)

  • @hellspawnds perfect look for him is what he has....he's got that raw food diet guy look...lol

  • Comment removed

  • @hellspawnds HILARIOUS!!!! : D

  • @hellspawnds

scared off is 'their' issue; not his ;)

  • @hellspawnds

Let him wear what he wants. Who gives a potato?

  • @hellspawnds, if people only respond to people who look like Republicans then they are shallow and not deserving of having their health being helped. He doesn't even look like an cultist, just slightly hippie and casual. That's his style. He is not scary at all.

  • @TheSeductiveArts

Shut up, you treehugger, or 'll make you eat cooked food 'til it come out of your ears! Don't lecture me about the moon and the stars, and some dolphins and whatnot. Now I'm gonna put on my college sweatshirt, and do pushups - one for each state of our proud nation. Hoo rah!

  • @hellspawnds I love his hair. and his clothes... Why On Earth should he LOOK like a REPUBLICAN..? That's the most ridiculous statement I have ever read.

  • @hellspawnds your a dumbass the suit is what makes him... dont be hating. People just judge too much, this guys obviously doesnt give a fuck.

  • @hellspawnds this guy claims to be a longevity expert and is he even 40? Jack Lalanne is a longevity expert and his methods won't overload your mind with all the mumbo jumbo.

  • @hellspawnds, republicans drink scotch, smoke, eat fried foods and are bald and fat. *wink* lol

It's not his job to reach the republicans. We are need to find our own path. It's a free life. Fitting into society is what got us in this mess to begin with.

  • @showmetexas the fuck? people look like that regardless of political siding...

  • @hellspawnds he he can do what he wants

  • @hoikevinhoi

so so c-ca can can I, stutter boy. (With your mom) haha!

  • @hellspawnds You need to accept people the way they are, not try and chance and critisize them. I LOVE his hair it is so sexy. If you want somone with short hair, who doesn't have any authority in what their talking about. C'mon!!!! passion doesn't scare you off!!!! If it does, theires plenty of dull, bald, infertile and fat people around. I like passionate, (it's not cultist. Its who he is. c'mon) healthy, full-haired and I love his hair. He is successfu by being himself. He is balanced & whole

  • @hellspawnds It's not an outfit.....he IS a guru. He's good for inspiration, but I wouldn't follow his specific advice (if he has any ::) since he keeps changing diets.

He looks good here (when he ate fruit).

Now he puts down fruit, and promotes dairy, deer antler and chocolate ( and doesn't look so good)

  • @Gary1111001

What the hell? What made him do that? I mean... A (former) raw foodist, promoting dairy! Is he fat now adays or what.

  • @hellspawnds Here's my quest why he added dairy. He promotes and sells colostrum dairy. It's very expensive.

  • @Gary1111001

lol, who'd knew he would turn to the dark side!!! and he looked like such a nice guy

  • @hellspawnds But then he would probably go to MC Donald's ;-)

  • @hellspawnds

what is it with the "republican" haircut... why are you politicizing hair?

  • @Caelidh

Hair is great for telling opinions without using words. David Wolf's reversed multidirectional mullet says "Let's rub organic pinecone moisturizer over eachothers upper bodies and make love to trees, then we'll build a fully functioning home made from sticks and tar from the local swamp and take rides on my imaginary unicorn."

  • @hellspawnds You just don't get it. But it's ok. Hopefully you will some day.

  • Respond to this video...

It's not like he has dreads or something. I think he looks very reasonable. It's the "cult" of our society that shapes our perceptions about what is "normal" and they are not really right. I could say.. " maybe the survival "preppers" should get rid of the southern accent and the military fatigues and folks would listen to them more.

  • @Caelidh

You're right, people most likely would. Like you said, norms shape perception, it shouldn't matter but it still does. Comes down to what you prefer - people taking you serious, or keeping your style at whatever cost. The way of the world...

  • Occasionally I have a 12 pack

  • hes lying hes not a raw foodists everybody...david is too fat to be a raw vegan. Hes a fraudster trying to make money of his "superfoods"

  • He's too fat to be a raw vegan, I think he's a fraud and he should do a lie detector test as it looks like he's lying in the beggining when asked what he eats

  • @patryksky

I agree raw vegan drops your bodyfat like crazy, which is good if you workout a lot and eat proper amount of cals. Cus then you look really fit. (Most raw vegans are though of as weaklings though because they are rarely into bodybuilding and stuff, but it doesn't take meat to get pumped) :) However, you only see this guy's head? And his face is not that chubby. Maybe there's other vids where you see him in his underwear....lol

  • @patryksky

How do you know what he eats just by looking at him? Have you conducted a raid into his kitchen and fridge? Tell us what you discovered. Were there peanutbutter and crackers in there? Did you find David stuffing himself with hot dogs? Pics or it didn't happen! Perhaps a paparazzi shot from the other side of the street, showing David in his gas-guzzling SUV eating a bigmac&co., wearing his only semi-concealing raybans.

  • @patryksky yep i thought so too however at least he doesnt shut up

  • Are (raw) eggs good or bad? If you do eat small amounts of cooked food, which are least bad? Boiled eggs? Steamed roots/veggies?

  • @hellspawnds I think brown rice (must be brown) and steamed veggies are good in a small amount if you want to eat cooked along side. Eggs are not really good, not many raw foodists would not recommend them raw or cooked as there isn't nutrients in there that are valuable when cooked, and there isn't much point to eating them raw. Best stick to something else :')

  • @RawBohemian

what about nuts and seeds, do you have to soak them to deactivate their "defensive" agents, so to speak? I found them tasting weird when soaked. Also, I don't believe cavemen or modernday tribes people bother to soak seeds and nuts when they find them.

  • @hellspawnds Well I know your supposed to all the time, but I eat them out of the bag when I want to just snack on them :P I agree they taste weird and sometimes I just want some and I have none soaked. But - If I make a recipe with them (usually every day I eat them in my meal and there soaked for that), then there always soaked, and sometimes I do soak them and leave them overnight to dry and then eat them :)

  • how can you tell if your system is alkaline or acid ?

  • @99truckstop you can buy "ph papers" online for 10 bucks that test your urine.

  • @99truckstop

If you eat a regular western diet, with lots of bread and cereals in general, along with lots of dairy and meat. Then you can pretty much assume your acidic.... Pseudoscience or not, I felt like shit when eating that way. Today, I don't :)

  • wow he totally bullshitted the end of this interview.

  • I would do it but vegetables taste like crap

  • @bangmeister veggatable taste like crap because u eat to much artifical flavors and colours and those burn down ur taste but so u can hardly taste natural flavours and only crave extremely sugaryor salty foods try avoiding anything artifical than take a bite of a carrot or pepper and see if u can say the same thing

  • @bangmeister rhythmdummer is right. your body is overly acidic right now... once you start eating more alkaline foods (green leafy vegetables) healthy food in general will taste better.

  • @jfezzy69 ya are probably right

  • If coffe may to drink on a raw food diet. coffe 3 in 1 with watter

  • uuuoooohhh!! lord vegan HIMSELF gets a little flustered around 2:52 BUSTED!

  • fuck vegan eating i did it for 7 yrs.

  • Cooking changes food in three important ways, according to Wrangham: it “unfolds” the amino-acid chains of proteins, making it easier for digestive enzymes to process them; it makes starches more digestible; and it “physically softens” food, effectively allowing us to get more calories in with less work. Cooked food is no more calorific than raw food, but it takes fewer calories to process and digest.

  • He looks really healthy!

  • Hi there, thank you very much for these great videos. I would love to be do raw eating and tried it yesterday and today. Both days right around noon my stomach stared grumbling and I stared feeling really tired. I drank carrot juice and about ½ pounds of fresh organic figs but that didn’t do it. I was at work so I had to have a sandwich to be able to go on. Do you have any suggestions? What did I do wrong?

  • lol your name is also mine! my name is wolf bessy, hehe

  • go raw!! :) :) From, Jason and Pia (of Welovesuperfoods website)

  • Trust me, folks. Going raw will change your life more than you can imagine. There isn't an area of your life that won't be affected. My allergies disappeared in ONE DAY, I lost 80 pounds, my skin cleared up, my workouts became amazing, my body odor practically disappeared, I only needed about 6 hours of sleep to feel refreshed, and the sense of calm and mental clarity are staggering.

  • why is everyone making the claim that our ancestors are vegitarians, clearly if u research this topis it appears that back in the day we ate alot of animal products as well... why would nature "evolve omnivours" then in the first place ? ((sp off srryy)

  • @Phillies416

WAY back, before wandering off out of africa humans may very well have eaten a plant based diet. Although, migrating from that climatezone and settling down in colder temperated zoned made hunting and eating meat a must (due to lack of plants when not in the tropics any longer). I think a good compromise is to eat mostly raw vegan with small amounts of fish or game every now and then. But not every day. (I'm sure cavemen didn't get lucky when hunting every single time)

  • How to kill the germs and worm eggs if not cooking?

Especially with pork this will be a problem?

  • I'm going to get a-lot of ish for this ....

raw is a wonderful way to go , not bashing it in anyway , just saying be open minded to the fact that many spiritual and shamanic traditions ate meat as well ... hear me out ... they saw veg and fruits as mostly "female" and meat as "mostly male" if taken scientifically acidic and basic foods? , and ate both, meat as way to connect to animal spirits , veg and fruit with plant spirits

  • Anyone know?

I've tried eating raw organic for a while, with careful attention to getting enough zinc, protien, iron which i know people forget when veg , and lost some weight including muscle mass (im skinny guy,NOT looking to lose) , Testosterone drop as well as strength, felt hunger alot, didnt feel any "spiritually" different, The only real positive I recall is I felt pretty energetic most of the time

Im NOT bashing this and would like to make it work more then typical healthy diet w/meat

  • @seveneverything Hey There. Try to just eat seeds, sprouts and lay off the meat. Try to completely ignore the iron and zinc for a while- it helps. Also- eating rawfood doesnt mean quit working out! Keep exercising along with a few jogs outside. Try not to bake anything above 150 degrees (Farenheight). Try only working around with herbs and nuts- also don't go buy cereal- organic or not. Try t make your own or go buy some granola! Try to go all the way 100% RAW! Good luck, hope i helped! :)

  • there is no possibilty to over-alkalize with green smoothies. The alkalizing greens balance the acidiity of fruit perfectly

  • Humans are cookedfood-arians and Omnivores for our best health, both of which are integral in our evolution going back nearly 2 million years with cooking, apparently, and many millions eating animals/products. Balance with all foods.

  • @GoinVert Out of the predicted Hundred million species on this planet we are the only one that cooks its food. No, we are not supposed to cook our foods. Just take a look at the mental state of the population, this much death and disease is not normal. Nor is this much depression. People who have a raw food diet, and do it properly are FAR healthier then people who eat a cooked food diet, and suffer from virtually no ailments in comparison. Cooked food makes people sick, violent and depressed

  • @gooosfrabaa, yes, and that's apparently how we became Homo sapiens, - cooking. We're a very distinctive species in that cooking is a world wide standard in order to live well given the native resources available in a given locale. The raw and rawvegan world has plenty of mental cases and ill health. Get off your hypnosis, which I'm too familiar with within the raw and vegan community. I've been keeping aware of this since 1984. I understand the full details of consideration, practically.

  • @gooosfrabaa, here's a challenge for you, as an indication of learning more about our species, Homo sapiens: Go live out in the wild, say, Southern California native conditions, without using fire or eating animals. See how well you do. The agricultural revolution is the reason raw veganism exists. And as for raw meat consumption, well, I'll let you figure that out. Raw food is good though, as part of a 'balanced' human diet. Be mindful of your body's response indicators.

  • @gooosfrabaa

    I'm inspired!

  • @gooosfrabaa While you make a good point, I'm afraid that I see an inherent problem in your logic. True, while we may be the only species that actually cooks its food, does no one else recognize that we outlive any other species on earth (save the rare giant tortoise). Now I do agree that the manner in which we cook our foods (fatty oils, lard, etc.) is certainly improvable. But ask the third world countrymen and women who actually eat raw food and they will tell you life expectancy is short.

  • @gooosfrabaa It's not the act of cooking that is destroying health. It is the source of the food. Check out the documentary Food, Inc. sometime. Pretty scary stuff. And even that is only part of the bigger picture of what is wrong with people's physical, mental, and emotional health. You might also be interested to check out National Geographic's documentary on Stress: Portrait of a Killer. There is a lot going on to make people the way they are. It is unrealistic to blame any one factor.

  • @roflpill Nice recommendation. Both great documentaries!

  • @gooosfrabaa People who eat raw food are those who are often dieting and exercising already, and the raw food diets are recommending healthy food either way...just not cooked.

To link cooking food with violence is frankly idiotic. Not only do you totally misinterpret facts, but you also generalize incredibly.

  • @gooosfrabaa I only cook meat so I can kill the worms and other wiggling things. I want me meat to be still.

  • Tender leafy greens like romaine and bib lettuce are definitely important, but they are too low in calories to form the bulk of a diet. That's where sweet fruit like bananas, pears, mangoes, peaches, etc. Remember, the human body runs on glucose! :)

  • @FitOnRaw Sprouted seeds and grains you are forgetting. Also hemp seeds don't have any enzyme inhibitors so they can be consumed raw!

  • @777TylerJB Nuts and seeds are too high in fat (70% and up) to form the basis of a diet and grains are not an optimal fuel source for humans.

  • @FitOnRaw Sprouted grains are very healthy, and they are complex carbohydrates that give you steady energy. Fruit contains simple carbohydrates which give you a roller coaster of energy. Fruit is decent, but not a great fuel source. Fruit nowadays is low nutrition, lots of sugar, and ages you pretty fast. Look at Dr. Doug Graham a fruitarian advocate he is all wrinkly and balding. Compare him to Dr. Brian Clement who is against fruit and he is way healthier plus he is 20 years older. no bald.

  • @777TylerJB Fruits only give you a "roller coaster" of energy if accompanied by a high fat diet. Otherwise, they digest quickly and easily and blood sugar levels do not remain elevated. Fruits are also low-medium glycemic foods (based on combined glycemic index AND glycemic load), while complex carbs such as cereal grains rank high on the scale. These are the foods that negatively effect blood sugar and energy levels, not fresh fruit.

  • @FitOnRaw is it bad to eat too much fruits? I mean, can you gain weight? They seem to have a lot of energy, so where does it go? Are certain fruits "better" than others?

  • @delatroy Too much of anything is inherently bad. That's why it's called "too much"! :)

That said, it is very hard to overeat on sweet fruit. That's because it is so high in satiating water, fiber, glucose, etc.

Just eat as much sweet fruit (any kind is fine, there is no one fruit that is nutritionally better than another) for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Follow that with lots of greens and/or non-sweet fruits and any overt fats you desire (remember, not too much fat) and you'll do fine.
