  • Love It!

  • There's an app I used to use back in the Windows Mobile days called "Aurora" that was very similar to this. I think it's on iPhone now. I hope this helps someone out! :)

  • ohhhh i understand!

  • japanese are cool :-D

  • And this is why I want to learn Japanese.

  • Definately wasn't expecting him to be that asian, but that's too cool. I'm guessing it's like a KaossPad but not through a midi? it's an actual synth? like a really awesome Kaossilator type thing, with presets built in?

I may be wrong, so feel free to correct me.

    This thing is awesome

And goddam I wish this was in English, prettty fascinating shit right there.

  • @GreatBigSlide My lecturer brought one in and I was really impressed. It was really easy to use and self intuitive. It's a sequencer, which layers preset sounds and you can apply filters. It differs from a kaossilator (pro) in that more many more layers can be piled on top of each other, rather than the four that the kaossilator can handle.

I fell in love with it anyway. =D

  • At the end of the day you produce something nobody wants to listen to except you.

  • That's a pretty cool toy. I can't see it completely replacing a keyboard but I can see myself having a great time tinkering with it.

  • he looks like uchimura

  • Perfection!

  • what kinda midi keyboard is that?

  • I mis-read this as Virus TI Snow and Monome, I hate getting those tow mixed up. I was really, really looking forward to watching this vid.

  • The Tenori On has a brilliant control surface, but am i the only 1 who feels a bit like they spent too much time making it flash in pretty patterns, and not enough time making it sound good?

I've played alot with it in my local store, and it just sounds flat to me.

Even in this demo, he has to turn down the Virus and flatten its sound so it doesnt overpower the Tenori completely.

It's a pity because the concept, control and design are among the very best.

    Redo as pure midi-sequencer?

  • @MarctheDarc

    the tenori-on is... what... $700?

products like it, and the kaossilator, and drum machines all need their prices lowered a whole ton.... they're great creative tools but none of them are worth their prices!

  • @drakeishfyre Yeah no kidding, I had a Kaossilator for a while, but damn. 300 for that thing is way too much. they sound wicked at first to play around with, but after you learn how to play them well they seem so limiting.

  • dude.. there´s better stuff that can be done with the tenori on and a virus ti snow.... the tenori on can be used as a midi controller... ..yes.. I have a tenori on.. and I´ll buy the virus ti this week..

  • great. i think i need a tenorion too :)

  • YOU ARE A BEAST

  • Wow that was cool! Since I can't speak that language, Ill post a symbol that can show my feelings about it, here it is: :-)

  • Awsome ! Just starting so planing to own a waldorf blofeld, but this seems to be awsome ! Nice presentation !

  • Honestly, try both before getting the Blofeld! I almost ended up getting the Blofeld after trying it because i was so impressed, but I decided to wait 2 long months before the Snow came in and it blew me away. The sounds just sound so much bigger! The best way to describe it is to say that it's something Hans Zimmer would use (and he does!)

  • Yeah, this is a great video!

I own the Snow, just waiting for some good luck (or a credit line increase!) and the Tenori On is mine!!

  • Great Video

  • Thank you for the good presentation!
