But there were many talented people, all of whom on that team I was on went to play in college and one went to the MLS, and is being scouted by European clubs. Make no mistake, the USA is the next place to find talent. Most of the players for Team USA play in Europe. The USA is rising, and the rest of the world hates us because we're awesome at everything else. To those people I just put up the middle finger! WATCH OUT!!!

The reason America thinks they have a great international team is because they are ranked high in the fifa world rankings simply for one reason, the rankings are done in relation to all matches played, and as the USA is not in the euros, most of their matches are friendlys, and also as they are not in europe, all thier friendlys are scedualed against poor or average south american teams, so they get off easy and dont have to face the big boys in europe.

And finally, you get points in the fifa rankings not just on how many games you play, but for who you in the games.
