Girls mature faster and sometimes are bigger and stronger at high school age and into their early 20's and can even beat some older guys but later on in life most guys mature and get stronger than most females this is just a few how many female wrestlers are there in the country compared to guys not to many.

I'm actually A college wrestler. I've never lost to a women. Having said that I've faced them many times. Maybe in the mid-west were there is less men then women do women fight men. I say that because if the women on my team faced the men, the women would lose to the men no contest.

You are picking a small number of matches with generally young contestants and low weight levels. As these kids age, the girls will win less and less. At the top levels, its the males who prevail. What percentage of females could compete in a large state's high school state meet? And at the college level, none could be competitive at a Big Ten meet . Get serious and quit trying to put boys down.

@blvany What state are you from? In Ohio, a large wrestling state, the first girl in history to place in the state meet did so in 2010. She placed 4th in the 103 lb level. The same is true in most states. A few girls can be competitive in the lowest two levels, but that is about it. That is not to knock girls; it is just a fact. Check state rankings.

1) Total number of coed matches in US high schools, say
2) Number of such matches won by girls
I'm pretty sure 2) would be a fairly small percentage. Not to
take anything away from the girls; but I don't think they're winning most of the matches.
It would be interesting to know though.
