  • Gosh, all these religious comments are so ignorant. You guys really don't read any books other than your bible, do you? Maybe reading comprehension is the culprit.

  • I thought this was going to be funny but turned out to be shit

  • lol @ internet scholars

  • sorry to point that out but the moon DOES rotate around it's axis by the same speed of the angular velocity and counter direction to it's rotation around the earth that's why we see only one face , the Moon is rotating on its axis; it spins once a month, exactly the same length of time as it takes to orbit the Earth. So, after half an orbit around the Earth, the Moon has also spun one-half of a cycle about its axis.

  • If the only sign of god would have been death than that is enough for u to beilove there is a supernatrual power out there call

It god call it the creater call it the source of creation call it what ever in islam its ALLAH (the one thats worshiped)

  • All those theories have been proven to be correct. LoL it doesn't matter if we were created through evolution or not, it doesn't prove that there is, or isn't a God. And that's what this video is about. Well I hope you have fun growing into a tree or whatever you think you'll be after your death.

  • Just because there is a sound which you do not understand does not mean it is not speech. For someone who does not understand english you are just making noises. Silly noises at that.

  • @NUTCASE71733 well ask the scientist who proved this right. And btw evolution is only a theory, and there are verses in the Quran of humans going through stages and those stages can be either evolution, or evolution in the mothers womb. And if we all go through evolution, why isn't every animal on earth a human, why is it that when a human sex cell is in the process of meiosis it can only have 46, 45, or 47 chromosomes, if its lower or higher the baby dies??

  • @thefalstini ''well ask the scientist who proved this right. And btw evolution is only a theory,''

    1. The Atomic Theory

    2. The Cell Theory

    3.The Germ Theory

    4.Theory of Gravity

I guess you don't accept any of these because according to you ''its only a theory''.

''And if we all go through evolution, why isn't every animal on earth a human'' If you knew anything you would know this, absolutely pathetic.

    watch?v=QRBrl02tnnY ''islamic embryology''

    watch?v=dK3O6KYPmEw Chromosomes

  • @keikoandgilly no, the Quran clearly states the expansion of the universe, the water cycle and as you probably know embryonic process in detail. And it also states things about the planets and that the earth is a sphere and that it rotates the sun on its on axis at a time when no one believed that. Evolution is only a theory, in the quran it states that we were created through stages, those stages could mean either evolution or inside the mothers womb.

  • @thefalstini

I call bullshit. The verses you pointed out are fradulent. As bad as the bible's statement that one can handle snakes and drink poison without suffering the consequences if they beleive in Christ.

  • how do u sit through videos from these goof balls?

  • @bakayurei I know he doesn't represent islam. What I'm saying is, Islam agrees with science and it so happens that science agrees with Islam, but these haters are always trying to prove wrong. And by the way I actually hear that it was a dense cloud of gases not a ball or whatever this guy think, does he think we're in DBZ

  • @thefalstini

It doesn't agree with evolution so therefore Islam does not agree with science. Islam only complies with old greek science.

  • Look at these haters!! Damn people Islam continues to prove you wrong on more than one occasion. Even your own arrogance shows it. "Do not the disbelievers see." That just proves how blind you are.

  • @thefalstini zakir nalaik does NOT represent islam, he's a cretin

  • you have to voice to comment a soccer game.

  • what is your response to the quran's description of human embryology? the science of modern embryology up until i believe the 1980s (i could be wrong) believed the human embryo developed all its systems simultaneously, muscle/bones/nerves all developing together. the quran describes when the heart begins to beat, then the skeleton is formed, then muscles are formed over the bones and so on and so forth. it was only recently discovered (past 30 years) that this is the actual development of humans

  • @jumar1281

You are mislead by some dishonest Muslims. The Koran simply copies Greek, Jewish and Hindu beliefs of the 7th century. Which we know today, was wrong.

So there is no truth in any embryological description in the Koran. There is no description of when the heart beats or any detail, just some vague and childish stories.

In general, there is no scientific fact in the book and what specifics there are, they are wrong. Check and research.

  • @StopSpamming1

then why did the world-renowned embryologist Dr. Keith Moore, author of the most well know embryology textbook of his time (The Developing Human: Clinically Oriented Embryology) cite the quran as one of his sources? Why did he describe stages of the embryology as they were described in the quran, only to learn later in his career after it was proved with a modern telescope that what the quran described is was true. why have those discoveries not yet been disproven?

  • @jumar1281

    He didn't.

    He is not world renowned.

"The Developing Human" is not the world's most well known book on embryology.

When Moore said anything about the Koran, he lied. For money. The rest is made up by Muslims.

You can't disprove something not yet discovered.

You need to differentiate fact from fiction and wishful thinking.

And show me where the Koran mentions when the heart starts beating, please.

  • @StopSpamming1

i'm not a quranic scholar. i'm not an expert by any means, so i may very well be mistaken, so i'll concede the point to you about the heart beating. if you can prove to me that Moore was nothing but a paid whore who lied for money, and muslims made up the rest, than i'll concede all points in our discussion to you

  • @StopSpamming1

and by the way, i'm not religious, i consider myself a student of life out in search of answers and good discussion with people of all faiths and backgrounds

  • @jumar1281

    Accepted.

Do you want me to run you through this up step by step here or do you prefer watching the videos I made regarding embryology and Moore?

  • @StopSpamming1

i'll watch the vids... send me a message to my mailbox please! thanks, i look forward to it. we can then continue our discussion at a later date

  • @StopSpamming1

actually i've already started watching vids on your profile, but if you could recommend a select few that would be the best to watch, that would be best. thanks

  • Ahh Dr Nakir could sell ice to iceland, but his wordsmith ways soon leave him floating down the river of bullshit without a bog brush.

  • Phil - Hilarious. Reminds me of Mystery Science Theater at its best. This "scientist" must have learned his science in mosque (like Christians learning theirs from the church pulpit & You Tube videos).

Doesn't this "scientist" buffoon have any self-respect? Does he realize his comments are unintentionally hilarious? It takes a lot of chutzpah to blather utter nonsense. You're right. "Real" scientists think he's a joke and won't bother arguing the absurd.

  • you know mohammed was just a plagiarizer, he took stuff of scientific evidence out of great writings of ancient greek philosophers and just writes them down on the koran

  • Dr.Zakir Naik had invited the Pope for a debate on Islam and Christianity after he made those comments about the Islamic Prophet, but guess who didn't wanna loose his sheep and ran away? The Pope!!

Similarly, Dr.Naik has given an open challenge to any scientist to debate on science and spirituality, but guess who doesn't show up? Your own Western academics..

  • @nilo723 Why would science debate spirituality, is that some kind of field of study? Any debate on spirituality will only be based on speculation, superstition, and unprovable claims. You need verifiable evidence in science, in spirituality, on the contrary, you can make claims that are unprovable and accept things such as magic and supernatural on authoritative. You can take thing that are illogical and violate natural laws based on faith because someone says that a deity reveals it to him.

  • your not just a dimwhit mate, your blind

  • "and the reason why the real scientist on youtube dont attack him is because he is simply beneath them"

    nough said i guess :)

  • Any "religious scholar" is worth the same as a "leprechaun or unicorn scholar". Religion does not deserve respect. It should be ridiculed out of proportion because it is one bad joke.

  • ha, at the end you said that Dr. Naik said in his lecture "White Kuffar" but he actually said "vice versa". You made me laugh when you said that.

  • I don't understand why People search GOD with science? It's pure belief.

My belief is not less then a scientist who believe in Quantum physics.

When I look and imagine this vastness of Universe- That's the end of my Logic and Science.

  • @javedmahmood No scientist believes in Quantum Physics. And your gap argument can apply to any other god or supernatural being.

  • Behind all of that , these words are not mentioned directly in Quran , they have played on words to represent these meanings in arabic , the same as christians do

ironically , even if you know arabic u cant get those meanings at all

  • just a little correction: the Moon rotates around the center of the Earth-Moon system, like the Earth does. Of course the two points are very close, but far enough to cause ebbs and flows on the Earth. It's irrelevant, I just thought I'd mention it :)

  • oooh and by the way, dummy, the earth is NOT round, its egged shapped, even though some scientists only found this out about 50 years ago, it was stated in the quran that the world is in fact egged shaped and that was 1400 years ago.. another LMAO

  • @SaryBasha the quran doesn't predict shit, it's just contains lots of shit, which you just interpret the way you want. it in fact contains less information than what was available at the time. anyway,

  • @SaryBasha It also says salt water passes threw fresh water. which is bullshit salt water goes BELOW fresh water becuase its heavier like water and oil! It also says the Stars are lamps yeah thats not something we disproved. The stars are NOT LAMPS they are nothing like lamps.

  • @SaryBasha It also says salt water passes threw fresh water. which is bullshit salt water goes BELOW fresh water becuase its heavier like water and oil! It also says the Stars are lamps yeah thats not something we disproved. The stars are NOT LAMPS they are nothing like lamps. oh did i mention it also says allah keeps birds flying?

  • again i will type what I sent to your friend phil who was just sitting on the same chair as you, its not the quran which has changed it is us who are developing knowledge through research and technology to be able to begtter understand the words in the quran,, thats why nobody could have told the west this, it is probably the west who will come to all these conclusions alone, then we can put these results up against the quran which has not changed in 14 centuries, this will be enough proof ...

  • away from the subject, athiests do believe in god but do not worship or agree with him.. why because the most unbelievable creature ever created, satan said to god that he would do everything in his power to make sure that most people would go against god, god told him to try and that he would have no fear over his believers, therefore using comon sence even satan even though he disagreed with god actually BELIEVES in god.. so you see athiests do believe in god but do not worship him...

  • @SaryBasha HAHAHAHAH! no we don't believe in a god you damn twat! You haven't proven your fascist twat god. Now if we do believe in god that means we are infinitely brave why else would i use a quran as toilet paper and wright a song about Muhammad being liking pedotwat?

  • u said dark side of the moon... mr scientist , if moon turns, it reflects light remember... we wont see dark side because the side is reflecting light... DUH

  • u look so dumb and shit face on the video.take this cheap video off from you tube.atheism is so depressing and sad.we came from nothing and after we die we will be nothing.so when we here in this world alive what we supposed to do.anything watever we like.so aimless and sad.get a life

  • @ganerexpert Nope we live are lives to live are lives we came from animals you twat thats not nothing, nothing is nothing and after we die we are still not nothing, nothing is nothing not even whats in your head.

  • There's no Allah only ME!

That proofs that Islam is a big lie.

Bow down to your saviour, ME!

  • Hey the Naik video has been removed by Islamandfriends.

  • oh and im sorry I sounded a bit offensive... but I im mainly angry at muslim scholars that speak when they arent as knowledgeable as they should be.. and its a shame. the true scholars are only a few people out there and by true scholars I mean truly intelligent and educated in all fields as they should be if they were to teach this religion that is honestly too complex for the unintelligent and uneducated... it needs true research and and a core understanding.

  • you do realize that most muslims live in poverty... meaning their nurtured level of intelligence is most probably lower as opposed to the west... which means for some groups of people or muslims some scholars will do depending on the level of intelligence.. so my point is your wasting time and pretty much showing off your intelligence to people that are less educated... what I suggest you do is go look at videos of Abdulhakim murad and Hamza yusuf then create a response there if you like..

  • Dr Naik is scary and I'm glad someones doing something about him

  • A nebula (from Latin: "cloud";[1] pl. nebulae or nebulæ, with ligature or nebulas) is an interstellar cloud of dust, hydrogen gas, helium gas and other ionized gases.

    Owned :)

  • @Str1keDeath Are you deaf? I gave the definition of nebula around 1:20 into the vid, exactly as per YOUR definition. Naik said that scientists would say that the universe began, "initially" in a nebula. That is wrong! Here's another definition for you: "Initially": at first; in the first place; at the beginning.

No scientist says hydrogen was there in the beginning. That would be impossible according to the big bang theory. The only person you owned was yourself.

  • @philhellenes my bad misheard what you said in the vid.

  • @Str1keDeath No problem. In fact, I've gone from very unimpressed to quite impressed. You just UN-pwned yourself. Not many can do that. Respect. :)

  • @philhellenes Thank you. I'm not one to argue further if I know i'm wrong. I'll graciously admit my wrong and move on

  • @philhellenes The moon does actually rotate on its axis. Its rotational period is the same as its orbital period. This is how we are able to see the same face of the moon all around the globe. I think, but am not sure, it's referred to as a Trapped Orbit.

Great Vid Dr Naik makes me cry.

  • "Those of you who know me, know that there is nothing beneath me." You just proved that you are beneath all. The manner in which you speak says: I have a big ego and everyone who believes in a religion or a God is stupid and irrational human being. You apologized about pointing it out that he was wrong for saying the moon spins on it's axis, and that's a good thing, but the fact that you jumped and said he was wrong the minute he mentioned it, again proves your arrogance, ego and bigotry.

  • @mar14ever

Stop misquoting/misreading people, he doesn't have much against the belief in god, but religions which have this monopoly on god, religions which enslave minds- Islam, Christianity, etc. The ones with the biggest egoes, are those who claim they have the answers to all, providing their ultimate sources- their religious scripture. It seems you focussed on Phil, but not on Zakir, did you not find his deception worthy of condemnation, more than that of an immoral atheist?

  • "Religion breeds ignorance."

When it is more intellectually honest to say "we don't have the answers/know right now", the religious will say "I have the answer to EVERYTHING: goddidit". Their gullibility also leads them to believe in "miracles" and other absurd claims that would otherwise be laughed at/rejected e.g flying donkies, angels etc.

    "Generalization is ignorance!"

Not if the generalisation is valid...In this case, it is.

  • What is a "white kuffa"?

  • @sol3a1 a kuffa is a non-muslim or enemy of Islam however many muslims differ on what a kuffa is. Also it is used in a hateful way.

  • @ceejaywt: TY

  • white kuffar??? LOL

    zakir is such a joke

making lies, hence he is actually twisting the qords of the quran.

making him liar of the millenium, snakeoil salesman

  • Greeks (Hellenes :) also calculated the Earth-Moon, Earth-Sun distances, the radius of the Moon (and the Earth), and their results were very close to modern values.

  • Islam is so modern, sciencey and up to date with our modern world view that it make me want to convert right this moment

  • @henriktor

    you are a fucking moron

  • @mrIollypoppy

Was that yet another educated and sciency atempt to convert me?

  • @henriktor

nobody can convince and persuade a delude and gulible person. you mut be practicing taqiyya right now. i can smell you are a pig muslim, someone forced into this cult at birth and stucked. so pig pedo worshipper. do what you like. you are already a fucking idiot. worshipping a thief rapist pedophile mohamed the motherfucker of all motherfuckers

  • @mrIollypoppy

What the hell have you been smoking????

    I'm not a muslim.

I'm an atheist and proud of it.

Though I may have some doubts if it means being grouped in with bigots who explode in people's faces for no aparent reason.

  • @henriktor

    oh yeah pig muslim

    fucking pedo worshipper

  • @mrIollypoppy

    So you say

  • Sorry, but planets CAN talk. My floor screams at me all night every night. I'm sure yours does to, but only you can't hear it because you're not pure enough.

  • religion sucks period.

  • @beandick3 Say that to God when you meet him.

  • @Theboxer500, lol

  • if you think you are good enough... take a part a debate with Dr Zakir Naik. he will be love to have you.... and put your ego to your feet..

  • @syuchunnie no body can take tolerate that sick bastard zakir naik..

  • @ksihkar oh really??.. and that is the reason why zakir naik was better person than you.. he tolerate anyone who wants to know and learn from him. unlike you who keep on thinking that no one cant tolerate with him

  • @syuchunnie learn wat? This bloody son of the bitch suppported osama bin laden check out more videos abt this retard.Y in the hell he is worried abt wat saniya mirza is wearing ?He is insane...

  • @syuchunnie he just got owned, maybe you didn't watch the video.

  • White what?

  • @Craydon he said "white kufr". kufr means non-muslim.

  • nike is the worst islamic scholar ever, i hate that guy

  • @arabia12340 religious ppl are blindly being lead by nut jobs that wants only power n to dominate n kill those who dont follow there ways

  • we as Sunnis dont believ in eveything he stays as he is some time incorrect with his preaches on many different topics, marriage ect. only 40% of Muslism listen to him a minority compared to the 70% that do. So dont claim that hes the real deal.

  • Comment removed

  • The way Islam tries to sponge credibility off science is the most pathetic thing in the known universe.

  • this is what he was trying to explain how much we try convince a Atheist he will never lessen that there is no god expect Allah``````

  • Just wanted to make a correction to your comments. You state with such confidence that the moon does not revolve on its own axis. It is elementary school knowledge that the moon rotates on its axis. However, it takes the same time to rotate on its axis as it does to rotate around the Earth. Hence, the same surface of the moon always faces the Earth. The Far Side was therefore only seen by human eyes when spacecraft went on exploratory missions to the moon.

  • @clinicalgeneticist Check the notes under the video where it says "URGENT CORRECTION..."

I do not hide my errors. I admit to them and face the pain (and this was painful). At least this way people (hopefully) realise I will recant when I know I'm wrong. And it's healthy. The memory of the pain of this error has made me check my wording and facts with greater care. This was, I think, my only "biggie" in 160+ vids. Try and find another. ;D

  • @philhellenes religion is true

and god made so much signs

but you atheists are to ignorant to listen to god

    look in your ear

  • @philhellenes The moon doesn't orbit around the center of the earth. But the center of mass, of the earth and the moon. The center of the mass is under the crust of the earth, but not at the center of the planet.

BTW he removed his video lol.

    Love your videos.

  • @philhellenes Thank you Phil for providing the only video I can find on Youtube which demonstrates the Scientific principle of self correction. As a result I rate this video in the top 3/4 Science videos on Youtube.

However I've taken your challenge and you appear to have mixed up weight (something that is part of general relativity) with inertia in your 'Special Relativity In 9 Minutes' video

Only mentioned it because of your challenge. Other channels block for pointing out errors.

  • @philhellenes Out of all the video's you have made this one is definitely my favorite. This was the first video of yours that i saw when i was going through my deconversion of Islam. It was a tremendous help in showing me how ppl can interpret things to suite their own need. I came here thinking. I came here in hopes that i could prove what i believed was rooted in facts and evidence. That title is very misleading you sneaky bastard ;)

Thank you and Keep'em coming :D

  • HaHaHa. Planets can't talk. Yes they can not talk. They can not talk to me/you.

HOEVER, here things are talking to GOD The Almighty. Here creation is talking to his creation. Yes, you should mind that, youand I should also mind that why they are not talking to us. But we should live with that ;)

    God bless us all.

  • It's always embarrassing when religions try to argue they are scientific. Then after they believe they have made their point; talk about magic men in the sky that can defy science.

  • Muslim scientists in the 14th century concluded that the earth is round from the Noble Quran. the roundness of the earth. - The earth literally has two sun rising points and two sun setting points! Noble Quran and Science agree on this.

the scientists just discoverd thaty and its menitoned in the quran 1400 years ago !

the big bang thery menitoned in holy quran the word of 'Allah' god the creator of the heaven and the eath the creator of us 'mashallah islam is the truth

  • @talal177 Eratosthenes figured out that the world was a sphere, AND its size, AND he left us an explanation of how he did it 300-400 years before Jesus, that's almost 1 thousand years before the Qur'an. The setting and rising point of the sun move constantly. There's a lot more than "two". In Sura 51:47 the Qur'an says is Heavens are ample, NOT that 4 dimensional spacetime is getting bigger everyday. Religion breeds ignorance.

  • @philhellenes

    What's with the nonsense?!

What does have an old discovery by an ancient learned "scientist" has anything to do with a revelation given to the prophet of Islam? who was an illiterate man, that couldn't read or right, neither able to prove or disprove the scientific facts provided unless it was a divine revelation.

And what does 51:47 has anything to do with the sun and two rising points?

    "Religion breeds ignorance." << false

    "Generalization is ignorance!" << true

    have a nice day!

  • "What does have an old discovery by an ancient learned "scientist" has anything to do with a revelation given to the prophet of Islam?"

The so called "revelations" posed as "scientific/miracles/knowlege from god" by Islamic scholars, predated Islam.

"who was an illiterate man, that couldn't read or right"

There are other ways to interact with people other than reading & writing.

"neither able to prove or disprove the scientific facts provided unless it was a divine revelation."

    LOL!

  • @TurboDally

"The so called "revelations" posed as "scientific/miracles/knowlege from god" by Islamic scholars, predated Islam."

That's true, in a general manner, in specific the Quran does state scientific facts that were never known to mankind, until the last 200years or so.

  • "in specific the Quran does state scientific facts that were never known to mankind, until the last 200years or so."

Therefore it's a miracle, revelation from god? Argument from ignorance again, there may be many rational explanations for this. Muslims have told me many "scientific miracles" from the koran, I later find that it existed in Greek culture, Egyptian, etc. Now the next "miracle" they spam, how am I to believe it when they've shattered my trust by spreading lies?

  • @TurboDally

"There are other ways to interact with people other than reading & writing."

If you're suggesting that they were copied from those ancient sources, then why the prophet of Islam didn't copy ALL of it? ;)

Unless, he's was an actual scientist LOL, ofc then he'd had picked and chose after evaluating everything he was picking.

Such a silly idea (with all do respect), please check for scientific references before making such statements

    Check this proof of concept:

    watch?v=Tx434UE3SYw

  • "didn't copy ALL of it? ;)"

Why copy ALL of a text into your book, isn't that a little burdensome?

"pick & chose after evaluating everything"

Not really, common knowledge needn't be wrong e.g. meteor>iron.

    "Such a silly idea"

The silly idea is to pose a supernatural explanation, miracles, when more rational explanations would suffice.

    "Check this proof of concept"

Check my previous comment, you'd see why I don't bother with Muslim videos anymore- liars for Moohammad will no longer get my time.

  • @TurboDally

Useless statements coming from a closed minded person.

All of your replies so far state nothing but ignorance, and yet you refuse to see the video.

Btw, the video shows the TOP embryologist in the world from Canada, who wasn't a Muslim at that time.

"The silly idea is to pose a supernatural explanation, miracles, when more rational explanations would suffice."

I agree, now bring us a rational explanation backed up by proofs & facts and not just mere conjectures & hypothesis.

  • @philhellenes As far as I watched your video make me so upset rather than exciting!!! However Dr Naik has been challenging to world to prove if He is wrong?? I saw him with Dr william Campbell who can't answer one of his question posted by Dr naik!!! However No christian or other religious scholar dare to debate him including pope!!! However Hopefully we can enjoy your debate at Live rather than cutting n taking from his lecture. Hope we are enjoyinh it soon vs you!!!! Good luck n go ahead!!!!

  • @MrMonsuralam being very good in debates does not prove a religion it just proves your very good in debates. Just because Gary Kasparov was brilliant at chess does not mean i have to take his point of view. Nakir is a salesman a very good salesman. If you listen eally carefully he just waffles like a idiot making things up

  • @talal177 the vikings knew it befor is was written in the koran...thor gave them even navigation aids and vishbone sextant to help them.

  • @robot014 but we didnt have it from the vikings

we have it from the bible and the bible has it from the torah and the torah has it from the zeebur

god made this religions and they were always changed that is why god send islam

with the seem rules as christians and more

    and other history

we have this history before muhammed pbuh was born

so dont talk stupid about vikings they are fake

  • @talal177 The sun neither rises nor falls>The planet spins on its axis, turning towards then away from the sun."The roundness of the earth."is a reference to its fecundity, not its shape.

  • I know a lot of idiots with with Ph.D's. I'm not worried about Muslims reaching academic achievement this doesn't break me an Atheist.

  • Atheist always seems to think that Quran is a book of science. If u want to know biology, chemistry, astrology etc., u go to classes which teach these subjects..u don't go Quranic teaching class for these.Quran is a book of 'Signs' fr God.It declared for example that he created the universe from a smoke(Big Bang whatever) which modern science founded ah!..we now know that universe started from a smoke, what they fail to understand is that who created the smoke, particles of atom etc.?by chance?LOL!

  • @syimang No, Atheists don't think the Qu'ran is a 'book of science'. They think it is a book of fairy tales. Islamic apologists Zukir Naik keep trying to make everyone else believe that it is a science textbook. They always seem to use the loosest translations on cryptic passages that will allow them to fit their version of the Qu'ran into someone else's scientific theory. Fortunately, most people see this for the charlatanism that it is.

  • @AwesomOver9000 some rich saoudis payed some scientists (without a job) good money several decades ago to make something out of it...

  • BIG BANG can denote the point of initial singularity, or the whole history of the Universe. Usually, it denotes the first few minutes in which helium is synthesized from an infinitesimally small, infinitely hot, infinitely dense, singularity. Singularity didn't appear in space; rather, space began inside of the singularity. Prior to the singularity, nothing existed, not space, time, matter, or energy - nothing.

  • Dr Zakir Naik is not giving a verbatim account of Big Bang theory, but merely elucidating on Qur’an: 21:30 as he translates it: “Do not the unbelievers see that the heavens (space) and the earth (matter) were joined together and WE cloved them asunder”. The translation I have says: “Do not the unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were an integrated mass, then WE split them and made every living thing from water?"

  • Which is far from: “At the beginning of the universe, the universe and the earth were together”, as you claim.

  • There is no inaccuracy in the statement: “If you ask a scientist, ‘How was our universe formed, how did it come into existence?’ They will tell you about the BIG BANG theory… that initially (depending on what point between singularity and expanded universe one is denoting) the whole universe was (used to be) one primary nebula.”

  • This statement is no more “wrong” than: “If you ask a scientist, ‘How is a baby formed, how does it come into existence?’ They will tell you about EMBRYOLOGY (depending on time of gestation) initially the embryo is one primary zygote”.

  • *Note - nebulous means Cloudy, misty, or hazy but it can also mean lacking definite form, shape, or content, vague or amorphous. Bare in mind, English is not his first language.

  • Good commentary mate... Glad you corrected the moon issue.

  • I loved the wtf face in the middle, when he metions the moon.

  • why don't you debate Dr zakir face to face?

  • @shamir137 Brother, debate is not his intent!

  • Learn Islam from Muslim Scholars - Not from CNN, Fox & Sky

  • @TheTnseem muslim scholars are less biased than Fox? Two sides of the same coin to me. If anyone feels it necessary to learn about Islam before realising its a fairy tale i recommend they read the religious text for themselves and decide for what the interpretations are. The quran makes no sense to most muslims, but rather then actually follow through with the nagging suspision that the quran is bullshit, they shut their brains off and let the beguilers of islam placate their doubts.

  • @kendrawhisp That's what YOU say and lie to yourself about!

You ignore everything about Islam & Muslims, their history & achievements ... yet you open your brain to hateful propaganda only.

See here (if you dare) how muslims "shut their brain off":

tinyurl com/2f6qz5o (Islam & Science section)

  • wat an arogent little shit. smoking a zoot is good for your brain cells innit

  • @utubevoter - Arrogant? Perhaps. But, more importantly, CORRECT. And seeing as I can see through Naik and you cannot, it seems my brain cells are functioning better than yours. And you don't believe in Allah anyway, or you would not represent your religion in public by calling someone a shit. Allah would not approve of your language, yet you use it, unafraid. Ergo, you do not believe in the god you defend. That's fucked up.

  • @philhellenes

but the quran does not mention that moon reflects light. those words were added by islamic liars after it was well known and accepted that moon only relfect light from the sun.

See ye not how Allah has created the seven heavens one above another,

and made the moon a light (noor) in their midst,

and made the sun as a lamp (siraaj)?

muslims are desperate to prove a fraudulent quran. never trust a muslim

  • @utubevoter clearly smoking a zoot his brain cells are working better than yours and Naik!

  • PS: The Moon is moving away because of the sling-shot effect it gets from the occeans of the Earth pulling it as the Earth turns. I may be wrong but I believe the Moon's orbit will slow down as it gets further away and as a consequence won't break free of it's Earth orbit.

Correct me if I am wrong :)

  • @TheRationalizer The moon's orbit could get elliptic within Earth proximity, but taking in consideration the Sun's gravity with the moon's location on it's orbit apogee, it may brake free finally.

If today, in a nearly circular orbit, the moon is receding from us, it is highly probable the momentum will keep pushing for a separation when the orbit gets wider.

  • @easyrhinotuber

I wonder if anyone has ever modelled it? :-)

  • The Islamic creation story is just a copy of the old testament, where the heavens and the Earth were one and then god raised up a barrier to separate "the two waters" which where heaven and the Earth - which also explains the "miracle" of the two waters not mixing.

  • "It is purely my opinion... but planets can't talk.." lol

  • Dr. naik lies to ppl. its pathetic . and he misrepresents information. and he doesnt rly know science or well history himself.

Good job on the vid :)

  • @heavensentboy

No, those scientists have proven no such thing. If you want some proof of the origins of the Quran watch my video in which I state the case that it was man made because its author believed in a geocentric universe.

    watch?v=Hn_gDtzaHdM

  • But if you're just another hater, describing Dr Naik as beneath scientists (LoL), well, you'll then keep burning untill consuming yourself.

It's OVIOUSLY not your field of expertise, so ... XD

  • @easyrhinotuber - I asked you to quote the verses YOU said would show me the error of my ways. Quote them. Let's examine them. Let others see and judge. At the moment it seems you know I'm right.

  • @philhellenes First, there are people who have a life, so if I didn't respond you after 1 minute it was for some reason

Second, even thought I know it won't change your negative position about anything related to Islam, I post the verses for the others:

[Ch:Messengers - v:30] " Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were joined together as one united piece, then We parted them? And We have made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe? "

  • [v:31] ' And We have placed on the earth firm mountains, lest it should shake with them, and We placed therein broad highways for them to pass through, that they may be guided. '

[v:32] ' And We have made the heaven a roof, safe and well guarded. Yet they turn away from its signs (i.e. sun, moon, winds, clouds, etc.). '

Next time consider caring about context. Im sure you do in other topics, but if you can't put your emotions (hate) aside, even scientific reasoning will do you no good! Sad!

  • @easyrhinotuber

    See my video response!

  • 2:15 The Quran DO mean the matter constituing the earth & the heavens (the universe) before their separation, that's why after those verses comes other verses describing the creation of the heavens & the earth separately!

You interpretation method is wrong because you ignore/dismiss the context of the verses cited by Sheikh Naik.

Ill suggest you to get a Qur'an Translation (actually it's a translation of the meanings) while doing your critique to get the full picture.

  • @easyrhinotuber - Please quote the verses here. Let's examine them.

  • @philhellenes

[v:32] ' And We have made the heaven a roof, safe and well guarded. Yet they turn away from its signs (i.e. sun, moon, winds, clouds, etc.). '

  • @easyrhinotuber It's just poetry. A child can see that. Every holy book is full of such stuff. To bring THAT to the table as proof of anything is too sad for me to feel angry.

  • @easyrhinotuber the togetherness of the "heavens" and the earth is common to many myths. this is absolutely no proof for the divinity of the quran.

  • @UnluckyGambler Name me one!

Name me a myth that says that heavens&earth were a joined entity before they were separated! That the universe was in a Smoke state before the formation of todays objects (Nebulaes, Galaxies, Stars & Planets ...)

That the universe is expanding ... etc, etc, etc. All that of course before 14 centuries ago!

    Tell me!

  • @easyrhinotuber pan gu, according to a chinese myth, pushed the heavens and the earth apart as he grow up, and growing taller and taller.

if ur trying to support the so called divine knowledge of the quran, dont even start. its full of ambiguous wording and phrasing, i have yet to see one verse that clearly shows me that muhammed clearly knew whats what.

heres an example of what i mean by ambiguous, before u start preaching verses. smoke is not the same as cosmic dust. smoke implies combustion.

  • @UnluckyGambler Excuse me but your example does not imply in this case.

The chinese myth speaks about a guy who gets taller & taller thus separating the SKY from the Land, not the separation of the planet Earth compounds from the heavens around it. It's just a manmade observation just like Romans believed that Atlas is carrying the sky on his shoulders!

We're talking about the unseen world, an unseen fact, no one could claim it without a divine revelation from The Allmighty builder Himself!

  • Cosmic dust came after the formation of the main corpses in universe wich are the source of that agglomerated big particles in different forms (planets, nebulaes, comets ...)

Smoke state is believed to have followed the BigBang, a radiated cloud of smoke consisting of photon, electron, and neutron particles and their antiparticles, so way much finer than dust!

This is what science says on cosmic dust, yet Qur'an is more accurate by naming it smoke

And bigbang isn't a combustion to you?
