how long did it take to learn the moves with the knifes?

Ehm, quite a while, I don't know how long exactly, but it wasn't that hard. I started with a wooden stick and when that worked, I also tried it with those knives. It took me a couple of hours in total I think.

I used to mess around practicing stuff like this, could never get the knack of two hands at once though. My left hand just isn't coordinated enough. Cool video :)

Thanks man, well it's kinda hard to explain because I didn't learn it from anybody. I just practised a lot with a wooden stick. I hold it between my forefinger and thumb and start swinging, something like that XD If you search on 'wooden stick moves' you can see my other movie, maybe it helps.

Excited..my Arwen sword is arriving today. I ordered the non-UC one because I wanted the scabbard with it. Can't wait. Legolas's knives are next. Wish I could afford those UC scabbards they make for them, but they are 96 dollars. At least that is the cheapest I have seen for them.

Hey man, well actually I didn't learn this from anybody. I started practising with a wooden stick, and when I controlled that really well, I thought of some moves and did them with the swords. You just have to go for it, keep on practising and release the warrior within, which we all have inside of us. But be carefull with metal swords, never practise with sharp ones and always begin with a wooden stick or something like that. Good luck!

Thanks man, and yes you're right. This is only for the show, in real combat these tricks will be useless. Though some things could be handy, like switching a sword in one hand.

Good luck, dude! I recommend to start with a wooden stick (that's how I learned it). You don't want to drop the sword accidentally or hit yourself with it :P

You can watch my movie 'Wooden Stick Moves' for example to see some moves with a wooden stick. Keep practising and you will manage to do some sick moves ^^
