Dude i think he did spawn but he was on somewhere at the lower area of that mountain, near the place you can fall. it happens sometimes (just look at the corners, ull see him stuck facing the pit) killing him that way will result in stuff dropping to an unpickable place (ull die by falling)
Had this glitch last night, but the worms and stuff started turning invisble. So I got off for the night Lol.
