Pavarotti´s voice is strong, but yet so soft, it touches your heart in a way no other voice can. I think this guy has good voice, but Pavarotti? No! He needs to do a lot of work, but in this his voice is very raw, "hard", I don´t know how to say that... but it just doesn´t feel good...for me it´s disturbing, making me anxious. I´m not saying he´s bad, but just not my cup of tea. And nowhere near Pavarotti.
I always get a little skeptical when I hear of this or that pop tenor being the "New Pavarotti" or some deal like that. In this case, this young man DOES have sort of a Pavarottian timbre in his tone. What he lacks is the maestro's amazing technique.

Sorry, but I wouldn't put him in the catagory as Pavortti, simply with him being a Baritone more than a Tenor, even L.Pavorotti never compared to Caruso as far as Tenors go, but its just my opinion.
I, however would never consider myself in the same league as Luciano Pavarotti, nor do I consider this gentleman. He has a beautiful voice, but just not quite there..

This singing contest was his first steps in music; he used to work in constructions till the contest; now he improved a lot as he recieved professional training for a few years; look for him on youtube singing with Julio Iglesias :)

Just a voice is not a Pavarotti! Look the Video 'how to sing Belcanto II' with Pavarotti! There he sings a vocalise and explains it, and that he needed 10 years alone for this vocalise! So the guy here is just a beginner in terms of Belcanto! A nice voice indeed! But now he will have to develop this voice and to go on training it!!!

Pavarotti´s voice is strong, but yet so soft, it touches your heart in a way no other voice can. I think this guy has good voice, but Pavarotti? No! He needs to do a lot of work, but in this his voice is very raw, "hard", I don´t know how to say that... but it just doesn´t feel good...for me it´s disturbing, making me anxious. I´m not saying he´s bad, but just not my cup of tea. And nowhere near Pavarotti.

I always get a little skeptical when I hear of this or that pop tenor being the "New Pavarotti" or some deal like that. In this case, this young man DOES have sort of a Pavarottian timbre in his tone. What he lacks is the maestro's amazing technique.

Sorry, but I wouldn't put him in the catagory as Pavortti, simply with him being a Baritone more than a Tenor, even L.Pavorotti never compared to Caruso as far as Tenors go, but its just my opinion.

I'm just throwing this out there. this guy is good.. but to compare him to the maestro I'm sorry not yet. his high notes are not developed enough yet. although he is good. maybe but he's already past his prime unfortunately. his voice is a little shaky if you notice too. Hes good for being a guy who really just never did music much but not to compare him to pavarotti
