I don't think the doll was intentionally racist but it was misguided. Looking beyond the racial issue, the subliminal message is what offended me. The white doll was a "Pretty Panda" whereas the black doll was "Lil Monkey". Thus again emphasizing that white is beautiful and forgetting to say that black is also beautiful too.
