While that may be true, Newt didn't sound smart at all, when on his most recent appearance on THE VIEW, he said (with a straight face, mind you), that Sarah Palin is just as qualified as VP Joe Biden to be president. Gingrich is either delusional or in denial. Few people know more about foreign policy than Joe Biden, as he has served as head of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.... I think the real issue with sarah palin is not that she chooses to deny interview prep, or that she cannot string together talking points. I think the issue is that she needs prep and talking points. A presedential candidate should have the issues down and know them like their abc's. A candidate should not only know the issues, but should have opinions. She cannot just spew information given to her by Mccain's people. If she cannot do that, and she were elected, she would be a puppet presedent.
