Problem is Clark isn't a glad hander + every conspiracy nut in a community shows up when he try's to speak to an audience hence he will not be elected President in 08.

Best we can hope for is that he becomes VP or at least gets a Cabinet seat.

I think you underestimate him. He is the only Democrat who could have STOMPED Bush if they had been smart enought to make him the nominee. And if they make the same mistake again, they'll have a lot of trouble again wooing away security voters, Southerners, and independents from the G.O.P. Wes can dig deep into so many palces where the Republicans are strong, and still be loved on the left. He could produce a historic lanslide win for the Dem's if they only had the wisdom to nominate him.

If the Democrats don't nominate WESLEY CLARK, they'll get what they deserve: Another bitter loss to the Republicans in '08. Hillary is NOT liked beyond traditional Democratic power bases. Clark would have FAR more appeal beyond (independents, disgruntled Republicans, Southerners, military personel and vets, etc.) He is their most WINNABLE canidate BY FAR.

Clark is BY FAR the most winnable Dem 4 PREZ. Obama & Edwards don't have much more traction than Hillary beyond trad. Dem. bases. CLARK is the Dems secret weapon to tear into bases normally loyal to G.O.P.: 1)Security voters (a GENERAL, so is the ONLY anti war candidate that security voters will TRUST)2)Veterans and Mil. Personel (this is HUGE)3) Southerners (HE'S FROM ARKANSAS & security is big in the South.), Disgruntled Republicans (he'll TEAR in BIG here). He'll get FAR more Independents.

To add: Think about it, Edwards impressed FEW as Kerry's running mate in '04. He's seen as a lightweight. Kerry would have been smarter to pick Clark. Obama is proving he's too young, inexperienced and vague, and is sinking fast. Clark has the best LEADERSHIP and management skills of any and is the smartest candidate I've EVER seen(Valedictorian of his West Point class, Rhodes scholar, Supreme Allied Commander of N.A.T.O., Commander of SUCCESSFUL Kosovo mission, etc.).

You should be saying "CLARK/OBAMA" or "CLARK/EDWARDS", and not the other way around. The Dems will have GREAT difficulty winning unless WES CLARK is their nominee for PRESIDENT in '08. The Democrats will WIN against the Republican nominee if WES CLARK is their nominee with SHUREFIRE, ABSOLUTE certainty. True, it will be harder for Clark to get the nomination, but he can do it if Dems or Dem. leaning Independents like myself, start talking about who is the horse that can WIN for them. TRUST ME.
