@FifasFinestMw2King I would not jump to the conclusion that these likes were aimed at glorifying destruction. For instance I would like this video objectively for it's ability to educate people on the gravity of the destructive impact this bomb had on this land and its people to a lesser extent ( other videos are more introspective with more interviewees). I came here because I was curious about the square mileage that was affected. I think war is awful but educating oneself is commendable.

The use of atomic weapons can NEVER be justified. What the US did 66 years ago is boarding on a War Crime and nothing anyone says can ever condone such a blatant act of needless destruction. Many people condemn Hitlers orders to bomb British Civilians, but when they look at Hiroshima the fact that tens of thousands of Japanese Civilians died is conveniently forgotten? I'm sorry but that is simple hypocrisy. There are no two ways about it.

@CaesarOfTheMasses If we did not use the bomb the other option was an invasion which would have costed at least 1 million american lives minimum and there also would have been a lot more civilian casualties than both atom bombs put together. Look I am truly deeply sorry for the civilians that died in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. But the bombs that were used, whether you like it or not is justified.
