Their first two indie albums were entirely in english, and their third indie album was half english. This is actually fairly common amongst Japanese indie groups.

Everything they've done since the got signed to a major label has been in Japanese, aside from a re-recording of "Hold Me Tight" , and "Hello Hello" (english vocals done by the bassist for The Rentals).

Gotoh's doesn't know english, and his pronunciation is pretty bad. He's actually started to learn english just recently.

Yea, but don't be too surprized, AKFG's earliest works, like demo tapes and early promos were in english a lot and they were just plain awful! Everything before Houkai Amplifier/Kimi Tsunagi 5 M is pretty bad.
