  • I KNOW that I would be a great candidate for this job. Having struggled with my weight, lost weight, as well as having PCOS and diabetes. I know that I can help others etc. THERE'S ONE PROBLEM!! I am required to take chemistry at a college level, and I am absolutely terrified. I just don't know if I can do it, and this is extremely discouraging!!!! I looked up other things that I could do bu in all honesty this is what I want to do. I'm overwhelmed with FEAR and it is a real downer!

  • these people just try to make me fat,w hich is bad.

  • You don't need a masters degree. Just go to the ADA's website and find out what you need to do.

  • you are right. I'm a registered dietitian and i did a coordinated program at the 4 year school I went to and that is all I needed. You can also get an undergrad degree in nutritional sciences or food science and then do the internship,...which i believe they recently changed from 900 hours to 1200 hours

  • @KatinaT143 im thinking about becoming a dietician. is it okay if i have some credit hours at a 2 yr college?? and what college did you attened?? what courses were required?? would really appreciate some advice =)

    That shouldn't matter

  • I think he may be referring to the dual Dietetic Internship AND the Master of Science Degree program that many grad schools offer, but failed to mention the 900+ hour internship part :/

  • You need to do a 9-12 month internship, this just showing how misinformed other medical professionals are on nutrition

  • tnx vickersx2

  • You dont need a Masters to become a RD genius.

  • Are you foreal?!?!?! I mean, the course work is easy and the career pays good, but I'll be 27 when I graduate my BA then two more years of graduate study. Man, that's alot of school!!!!
