that was so cute! My dad's gf's dog used to save her when she would be swimming. She would say, "Help, Help!" And float on her back and then her dog would come up to her and pull her by her hand... It sounded really cute to me at first, until I saw THIS video

A real baby would probably float a bit to the surface but it's better that the nose is filled with water so it can be rescued than a dead baby.

By the way, Labradors have "soft-mouths" and I guess Golden Retrievers have that too because they're like related?

And then I read video poster's longer comment: Morgan trains as a rescue dog. He uses a doll for training, but one that has the same weight and mobility that an actual infant would have, so he can learn in as close to as real of an environment as possible.

lol it's a cool concept. but what good does it do to have a dog save a baby doll in clear water. if even a baby fell into clear water, which is odd to me because there's isn't any where i live save for swimming pools, it pulls it out by it's leg. the head is under water until it makes it to shore im not saying that it'd be better for the dog to grab a baby by the head, just that wtf good is it for a dog to swim five feet to pull a dead baby from clear water, and where the hell where the parents?

@deckflip i'd rather not find a dead baby at all, hence the comment about the parents. my daughter doesn't leave my sight when we're sitting in the living room, so i promise she'll never be near water without me watching. but in that messed up situation it'd probably be best to leave the dead baby in the water. if it's already dead the damage is done, and knowing todays society they'd probably blame the dog.

yes but it wouldn't be hurting the baby to much, cuz it would apply only enough force to carry it, it wouldn't actually be trying to rip the legs off or nething like it would if was actually fighting, they know how hard they need to wrap there mouth around something, it's just part of there instinct, trust me, my old German Shepard grabbed my neighbors daughter out of a pool once and she was fine, but it grabbed her by the body not the leg.
