"It"s worth the trip." Now nearly 30 years later, it seems like they're on every other corner. I can only imagine that it's becasue they're stepping it up against fancy schmancy Starbucks(brewristas, please!). But they're overextending themselves.
The acters name was Michael Vale and he served in the Army Signal Corpse in World War 2. He spent his career doing mostly food commercials using names like Sam Breakstone and Fred The Baker throughout the 1980s and 90s. He died of diebetes in 2004.
There was an employee that worked at a local Dunkin Donuts who claims that he would jizz on the donuts that had a cream filling. He thought that his "cream" would enhance the flavor. In addition, he has also claimed that he worked at the same franchise for 6 years and jizzed on over 900 cream filled donuts which were served to unsuspecting customers. In August of 2010, he left the food industry to become a porn star. His current whereabouts are unknown.
The Donuts! Time to Make the Donuts!..Yes...I recall very vividly in the mid-to-late 80's my dad would bring Dunkin Donuts every Sunday and sometimes Saturday Mornings..I'd wake up and there the box (or two) would be, on the table. Too bad they don't have anymore locations in California! Now come on! What's up with that? Also, being on a diet and watching this...will TURN YOU!! It's pretty addicting, but it never gets old! :) Great vid!
If you ever need a cop all you need to do is go to Dunkin Donuts. The only doughnut shops where I live are Dunkin Donuts. And there are LOTS of them. I like DD, but I wish you had another choice. Their doughnuts are great, but their coffee is overrated.
@Luigi84289 There are no Krispy Kremes in Northern New Jersey where I live. But there seems to be a Dunkin Donuts on every other corner. They would be on every corner but Subway won't allow it. I guess there are super market doughnuts, and those are a lot better than they used to be. And if you need a cop you can always find one at Dunkin Donuts. They hate those jokes but they are so true.
RIP Michael Vale - DD had to make this cutie an icon - this commercial says it all and makes you want some darn donuts - esp when you are dieting and can kill someone ; )
That's because DD was founded in Quincy, Mass and Bill Rosenberg who started the company called them Honey Dip. So, thats the answer to why DD dosent call them glazed
that guy on 0:20 thats dozing off kind of looks like this guy named Shelly that was a prankster that JAson killed and stole the trademark hocky mask form in the 3rd JAson movie (That came out in 1982). Same actor?
Me and the the 30 plus year olds say this all the time at work and the 20 year olds and younger always ask what does this mean.. need to show them this video
for years my old man would say 'time to make the donuts' before going to work each day. finally got around to seeing what the hell he was talking about. now it makes sense.
Yep. Glen said something about "Time to make the donuts guy". Not sure what he meant though. Trying to look for the acutal commerical that was used in the movie. Cause I'm just bored liket aht. ;]
