Hardy was overrated. He's had 1 knockout in UFC and that was against Rory Markham and the rest are all decision. He couldn't knock out Mike Swick or Marcus Davis (to which he almost lost to).

The UFC really did a good job of using Primetime to hype Dan Hardy. He's good, but even he would get killed by Koscheck or Fitch.

You don't allow your opponent to dictate the style of the fight or showcase his strenghts, especially if he is a puncher. Hardy should have known that if he takes you down, you better know how to get up, fast. He minimized the 'puncher's chance' threat, that takes skill. MMA is largely a mental sport, GSP gets it.
