I raced there in 1978 or so.......It was a great European-styled track,not like the manicured perfect tracks you see now. Wheels Unlimited in Squirrel Hill built the facility,and for a while it was a gnarly place to race. It was finally plowed under somewhere around 1998 to make room for a few soccer fields that no one uses.........What a pity. After it closed you could still ride on it for a few years,and we sadly watched it slowly be taken back by the Earth. Lots of great memories!
