The problem with the music/ hip hop industry is that too many of the people running the business are men. How many women do you know that are top executives...MOGULS in hip hop??? I can't think of ONE. Balance is non-existant in Hip Hop. When Lauryn Hill did her thing and did 'The MisEducation of Lauryn Hill" and won Album of the Year, this was the closest thing to women being empowered in MUSIC.

David Banner killed this whole meeting I thought when we lost Pac that we lost a voice for hip hop. So im glad to see that David Banner took a stand for hip hop the way he did. If its ok for movies (which is visual) to use this content then its ok for rappers (which its just music) to use it.

see, there is too much black and white. rappers need to makes albums with club songs, street songs, AND real songs. if an album is filled with only real songs, it only gets sales when its someone already famous, for up and comers, there should be all types of hip hop so the commercial songs can draw them to buy the album, so that when they listen they can hear what the real message of the album is
