  • Good Music keeps being covered but it is a homage to how great the classic songs actually are. Love Both Just Saying.

  • well i like jefferson airplane but this one is more 2day stuff so i like both equally

  • Muy buenos temas, bien seleccionados, muy acordes a la escena

  • Jefferson Airplanes is still better no doubt. but this one isn't to bad but Jefferson Airplane made it more well tripy and lucid than this

  • Abbie Cornish is so... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. If i would ever have kids. She would be their mother. Regardless.

  • I like this version, but I like Grace Potter and the Nocturnal's one the best.

    Please don't hate on me.

  • I think this version is better.

  • Airplane is the best

  • the cover from Collide is better

  • This movie had an amazin OST

  • It's missing Grace Slick's grittiness.

  • the original is untouchable!!! this is just a cute cover :p...

  • Love this song!!! :D

  • @AdrienPrinceXxX listen to the original way better.

  • I like this version better than the original

  • @corrs95 This isn't an original SP song. It was original done by Jefferson Airplane in 1967. That's why they -CAN'T- give them an Oscar for this being an original song. Sorry bruh.

  • best song..sucker punch should get atleast 3 oscar..for visual , original song and original score..awesome movie...outstanding song.......but academy peoples are shit,,they give for shit music.........

  • I love the Original but dude, when i heard this on the movie o _ o wow

  • fuck that jefferson airplane is best <3

  • Bloody Hell, this song has blown my socks off......amazing.

  • @drummerholiday31 i suggest you purchase some new ones

  • @enblurecida Desde luego xD Army of Me se sale XD

  • Kocham tę muzykę :)

  • Jefferson Airplane not Torrini

  • @Vivernlie This one is Emiliana Torrini!! Original is by Jefferson Airplane. :)

  • Now i want CiCi's

  • this song is cool :3

  • another disgrace

  • plz dont

  • Sweet Pea looks awesome in this pic :)

  • A nice electronica interpretation of an acid rock classic.

  • one pill makes you larger and one blunt mix you with the mall.

  • i had a stripper that reminded of Rocket.

  • Dubstep Version Is Betterrr :D

  • Interesting interpretation of a classic song... I thought it's gonna be some lame electro remix or something like that but I really like this one:D

  • Ha. rocket with the artichoke hair

  • Yeahhhhhh, Sweet Pea was my favorite!

  • You probably need the experience of what the song is talking about to really pull it off, and BOY, did Grace have that. Still, a fine arrangement and a great voice.

  • zgadzam się z tobą

  • Sounds like cheating with Auto tune again, that`s why there aren`t really any haunting vibrato notes like in the original

  • @WhoresOfBabylon look up this girl, she has an amazing voice,

  • zarabiaszcze :-)

  • Jefferson Airplane Woodstock version is still much much better, tho it's great song nonetheless

  • i hate to be the hater but anyone else still like the Jefferson Airplane better? not sayings this ones not good

  • @kingcosmo93 not a hater at all mate. this version is kick ass but nothing will ever compare to the original. the original was one of those songs that was more like a masterpiece than a song.

  • @kingcosmo93

yes and by a long way, but it is one of those songs which will never be improved upon. This cover is reasonable enough but she hasn't really put her stamp on the first 3 minutes at all. And then when she does, well it doesn't sound particularly fitting. It's very "hollywood blockbuster soundtrack"

  • @kingcosmo93 Jefferson Airplane - had the phenominal Grace Slick on vocals (She actually wrote the song) Based on alice in wonderland. But not all countries accepted that it was not promoting hippy drug culture so it got banned here & there. USELESS FACTS eh?

  • @mczigger Actually love both versions, forgot to mention that.

  • Emiliana torrini is the voice of The Gollum's song from Lord of the rings, one of the greatest voices our aears are to share nowadays

  • aaaa...great!!!!

  • she dropped the notes? I disagree.

  • @TheMollyglory No. Homer's college professor dropped his notes.

  • I liked this version up until she starting singing, "Remember what the doormouse said..." You have to have strong vocals to sing that part, and really be able to belt it out (IE: Christina Aguilera) For that reason, I say the original's better. Otherwise, I liked the arrangement of this version.

  • this and the original are awesome :3

  • Emiliana has a fantastic voice, but I think she dropped the ball on the big notes during 'Feed Your Head'. I know she can hit a note like that perfectly, because she basically does in her song Telekinesis. Not bad, though, just something of a botched opportunity.

  • song is very good!!!!!

  • Just had some kind of mushroom: check... what a cute rabbit!!!

  • This is nothing compared to the original version, even the BF Vietnam version is better than this

  • @hadescarada The original sucks ass. I just listened to it.

  • @silver9000001 please die

  • Nice music

  • my opinion: I love this remixed sound but not her voice. :) idk its too pretty

  • Great movie, great story!

Dreaming of freedom was all they had

  • Airplane did it better.

  • This is a song for Alice in Wounderland, just listen to the lyrics :D

  • @TheAudiience It's about Alice in Wonderland... hence the name ''White Rabbit'' as in... yanno the White Rabbit in the book?

  • @TheAudiience Gee Sherlock, how'd you figure that out? By the title maybe?

  • ....why compare them?? Its Emiliana Torrini....just revel in that...

  • @oregonisboring Did you notice this is a soundtack? It's written in the title.

  • Some people don't seem to understand what is the point of a cover.

  • I love the original, i like this version. Fits perfectly on the movie, and has its own identity. Was exalted hearing it at the cinema.

  • Say what you will about the movie, the sound track kicked ass!

  • Definitely a bad cover... hell the Collide version beats the fuck out of this one... it doesn't even remotely compare to Jefferson Airplane.

  • It doesn't have a bit of power and feeling of the Jefferson's version.

  • ARRRRg it's horrible the original one is so much better !

  • I didn't even know this was a cover XD

  • im very like this song

  • @legendaryassclown Is that a good thing?...

  • its about Alice in wonderland isnt it? Jefferson Airplane were all about their LSD. legends!

  • @traida111 Thats what I thought, but look up the book 'Go ask Alice'.

Which is what its set in, to my knowledge.

  • Grace Slick wrote this song. Grace Slick's voice was MADE for this song. I enjoy a good cover, but Ms. Torrini simply doesn't have the vocal power that this classic song deserves.

  • I do like this version, but I tend to agree. The vocals aren't bad, by any means...but it's the band as a whole, which really makes it a worthy version. They seem to push the song a little further...They're ofcourse far more informed of the impact and power of this classic, and because of that, they're able to get a little more out of the mood, and really play it for all it's worth.

Damn hard to beat Grace Slick...Best cover ever is by Kyle White though, in my not-so-humble-opinion.

  • Wie ktoś, w którym momencie filmu to leciało.? Przy walce, ale której.?

  • 30 people are stuck in the rabbit hole.

  • still struck in rabbit hole

  • top cover version love it

  • 30 people have no idea what a good cover version sounds like

  • I really dig this, but it doesn't beat the Jefferson Airplane version imo.

  • @oregonisboring cool story bro

  • @thomasis02 haha! So true xD

  • i love the beginning <3

  • exelent !

  • is a well done cover but still prefer the original one since her voice does not fit well with the lirycs

  • cool

  • the original is still so much better

  • i'm not sure

  • there should of been more bjork and fever ray music

  • "One pill makes you larger, and one pill makes you small..."

    Viagra - Alcohol

  • @ETTIWON nope its viagra and steroids

  • @ETTIWON its viagra and antidepressent cuase last time i checked vodka isnt a pill..... if it was i would ssoooo be a pill popper! but I love your comment!

  • @ETTIWON winner

  • @ETTIWON From what I know.. Alcohol isn't a pill.

  • @ETTIWON

    Viagra-Steroids foo

  • @ETTIWON Viagra - Extasy! Acohol makes you small? :D

  • @ETTIWON ALCOHOL IS A PILL?!

  • @deadpoetsic Nope, but I hope people understand what I mean.

  • @deadpoetsic the earth is flat

  • @deadpoetsic PILL=DRUGS. ALCOHOL=WATERPILL L0L

  • drugs.

  • I prefer the original because of the ladies voice its deeper and she sounds crazy to me, this one is ok, her voice is to cute and poppy for this song that sounds like it should be evil-ish. I like the music but the voice could be better

  • I prefer the orignal....calm down fanboys! This version is very silky smooth, I prefer the original for it's boldness. the guitar and the vocals make it sound as if it's a bond song. Another reason being that it's a unique music for our time. when I go back to that era, I usually listen to the original version. I guess this version is for the muggles.

  • @jcudal32

    You're not a witch/wizard.

  • This movie was fucking brilliant. yeah it was corny, misogynistic, but once you look past all the superficial flaws, it was true art.

  • @SanQoppaTheta you removed your comment before i could respond to it =P but if you do see this, i agree that this movie was amazing! people are so busy criticizing and over thinking it that they cant just sit back and enjoy the pure, simple imagination that this movie shows. when did people become so closed minded that an easy to understand, uncomplicated plot can't burst with creativity, and cant make a good movie?

  • At some point in this soundtrack, it sounds like something from Super Mario 64 o,O

  • Comment removed

  • when can i see/hear this music live??

  • I feel like a boner when I listen to this.

  • Comment removed

  • @SanQoppaTheta Sorry, but Sucker Punch is definitely not a good film. Watch Kubrick, Tarantino, Lynch or other great film makers before say that ! Anyway, the Sucker Punch soundtrack is very, very good.

  • Comment removed

  • @SanQoppaTheta Agreed my friend!

  • @SanQoppaTheta Of the decade? Really? I think that Suckerpunch was entertaining, but the plot and script were below average and the characters lacked depth, however, I will agree that it had amazing cinematography and special effects, as well as a beautiful soundtrack. All those things make an entertaining film, but not a great one.

  • @elljaywithaMOUSTACHE personally i believe imagination is what makes a great story; this one overflows with it. the creativity is amazing, and although ill admit afterwards it felt like not a lot had happened throughout it, i was mesmerized the whole time. it has a very gripping beginning and a fitting ending, and how they portray her "dancing" is fantastic. i honestly dont think just anyone could create a movie like this. the originality, combined with what you metioned, make this movie great.

  • Jorma's guitar line is copied note for note by the keyboard player. Overall, it is just blah. Not good; not horrible.

  • Great cover!

  • The pill that makes you larger is called Viagra.

  • I feel like im on crack when i listen to this

  • I'm not gonna lie. This is better then the Original Version :3

  • just to let you know Janis Joplin wasn't in jefferson airplan, It was Grace Slick

  • I normally straight out prefer originals, but I've gotta say... both sound so great!

  • Can we just clarify that Janis Joplin was never in Jefferson Airplane? She was close friends with Jefferson Airplane's lead singer, Grace Slick, but Janis Joplin never actually became a part of – or even collaborated with – Jefferson Airplane. Anyway, as already said, Emiliana Torrini does a great job with the song, but obviously doesn't match the original.

  • Only 4 letters needed. E P I C

  • and you had just had some kind of mush-rroom XD

  • @AL3KZTV also sounds like the same lol XD

  • such an amazing song its so sexual yet beautiful and powerful lol epiccc

  • i have how she says tall, small and any other word that rhymes, but the rest of the song is great

  • not bad, but it cant match the original...aspeciali grace slicks voice, not by a long shot.

  • chorus or main part or whatever lol it was just so beautiful :')

  • makes me want to dance

  • Pas aussi bien que l'original (difficile de faire mieux que Grace Slick) mais l'esprit y est vraiment... bonne reprise, très belle surprise!

  • 22 People didnt ask Alice

  • Love it to bits

  • I love this, but I think Jefferson Airplane's original version is still the best ♥

  • Why wasn't there a pic of Amber in this vid? She was the hottest one.

  • its not such a bad movie after and at all.

  • nice!!

  • The backing is excellent, but Torrini's vocals can't triumph those of Grace Slick.

I've never seen the film, but this is an alright cover.

  • 19 ppl are faggot, they would prefer men acting this movie...

  • 18 people pick the wrong pill!

  • absolutely loooooove the remake of this song. o m g!!!!!!!!!!!!!! amazing!!!!

  • I love this version, her voice is hauntingly good. Love it.

  • I like Emiliana Torrini but i prefer original song but this version is really great !

  • Glorious movie. Glorious soundtrack.

  • Another lame cover... not even close to Jefferson Airplane's original song That song was already a masterpiece, why a cover?

  • @EpoNandrolone you do realise covers do not have to stick rigidly to the original right? you understand people can do a cover in their own way if they want to. and maybe they covered it as a homage to the original, it held a personal meaning to them and they wanted to repay that, why a stupid question?

  • Comment removed

  • @tomrobo2323 lol we got a low QI here. Not even close = way crappier. This version sticks a lot to the Original from Jefferson Airplane and that makes it even more crappier. Bass track is just the same, timing is the same, Emiliana Torrini tries copy Janis Joplin giving nothing "personal" to this song. There many ways to respect and homage a song.. one of this is not doing crappy covers.

  • @EpoNandrolone a low QI? sounds a lot like your stating opinion as fact. there's a certain word for people like that and it isn't a compliment. how do you know what the artist wanted to achieve from covering the song

  • @tomrobo2323 For the kind of movie it was (which was kick ass), I thought the version suited perfectly.

  • @EpoNandrolone Emiliana Torrini tries copy Janis Joplin giving nothing "personal" to this song. Jefferson Airplane and Janis Joplin were never the same. Don't talk shit if you don't know what to say. Listen the Original. ¬¬
