  • I've seen a lot of flat motors & I built my 1st Flatty in 1981. But this engine is without question the sweetest sounding one I've yeat to hear. Instant throttle response and balanced sounding. Almost Chevy small block like - though I'm ashamed to admit that.

  • What EFI setup is that? I've never seen anything like that on a flathead.

  • Where did you get the EFI?

  • Sweet! That has to be one of the best sounding flatheads I've heard so far. God I love FI. Very nice work!!

  • That Chevy alternator may jinx your engine!

  • It also has a chevy distributor turned down to replace the stock unit. This thing may never be right lol....

  • @weldsomemore

Opps--forgot that the old generator was in the same place as the EFI assemly! Great work. The Delco distributor. if you're still using breaker points, is much easier to set than the Motorcraft unit. The Motrorcraft alternator however is a better unit.

  • mits cold this way too. Good luck on your projects, seems like there is never enough time.
