  • Thanks for the video. Thats a cool looking heli. I only have 10 helicopters at the moment, LOL. Yeah I know get a girlfriend. But then I'd have to share my toys. And besides who'd want a 60 year old kid.

  • Great video but i don't believe you that you really like crashing all your heli's : )

  • i want a tandm flybarless no coaxial chinook heli please horizon!! why no boady can doit in a um size like mcpx

  • your not a nerd!

  • @nintendofanboy45 I'm amazing :)

  • nerd

  • @Jesse999ish thanks

  • @Jesse999ish just cos you cant fly an rc helicopter it doesnt make him a nerd

  • @Jesse999ish Sorry i dont know y i said that please forgive me

  • i think they stopped making this heli because i cant find it on horizon hobbies

  • just got one of these on clearance for $30.xx, bound it to my DX7, works awesome, really easy to fly and the lights are fun in the dark.

    good vid. =)

  • Would somebody who has an mcx and cx3 have fun with this because its different or would I get bored

  • @TCB1468 this is very similar to the mcx and cx in terms of flight characteristics. it does have it's own look and does fly a bit different. It is very fun, however, I would say if you already mastered the cx3 and mcx, you may want to look into the mSR or 120 SR instead, as those will offer more room to learn and expand your hobby to FP helis.

  • @earthling1984

Ok thank, which do you recommend out 120sr and the msr? And which is better outside because I wish my cx3 and mcx could fly outside

  • @TCB1468 both are best for indoors still, but they both can fly outside in calm to no wind. the 120sr is basically just a larger mSR. Either one is great. I like the mSR better, because it is small, it is easier to fly indoors on bad weather days.

  • @earthling1984

Ok thank you so much, one last question though I have two other helicopters and losing half the battery setting up trim is getting to be a painwith the stock 2.4 blade cx3 transmitter and now with a third heli its going to be harde. Should I just get the rtf or invest in a spektrum 2.4 with digital trims I can write down

  • @TCB1468 a dx6i that saves your trims may be a good idea now that you have a few spektrum helis!

  • @earthling1984

Ok thanks your great and now you have one more subscription :)

  • i think i might get one i wil be flying one soon in my enginering class then i will decide it seams to fly good what did you think?

  • Can this be flown outside?

  • the delay may be your transmitter, try using the included one

  • Heyy Nice Video As Usual Sorry About Cassie( divorce) aah what is a good 4ch fp helicopter need help preferable cheap and i live in Australia so prices are a bit high? Thanks and Keep your Chin Up

  • I just ordered one BNF and was hoping you might have some setup tips for the DX6i? If not, perhaps you know where I can look to find some? Any help you would be willing to give... Thanks.

  • @Falchion757 this helicopter is very simple. just bind, and fly, really, it will be easy. but, if you do want some smooth stick controls then add 35% expo to your aileron, elevator, and rudder.

  • could this be used for outdoor use?

  • @MrLongboardCanadian only in no wind

  • nice video

  • i got mine for $40 bnf at hobbytown

  • Will be receiving mine shortly for $69 BNF from Amainhobbies ! Can't wait !

  • @wnppmy cool! the price has come down on this heli since I got it!

  • great video and you look like a petifile

dont take that personally it was a joke

  • I got my BNF one from horizon for 79 dollars, a very good deal.

  • @rg26100 used to be much more, I think when I uprchased it was like $160 or so for the rtf.

  • hay i was just wondering if u still have the losi mini lst2 le can u make a nother vid of it driving thanks

  • I got my for 79 bucks last night from horizon, how much was it before?

  • hola

  • you are a good at flying im going to get one MCX2 (2nd g of the normal MCX)

  • @halo2jeppe Thanks! And that helicopter is a great choice, you will really enjoy it, and you will learn a lot!

  • @halo2jeppe i am a beginner at helis but i heard that the MCX2 is a god learning thing and thats easy to fly

  • @halo2jeppe how much did u pay?

  • that delay in the front is the way it should be,the front has a small delay so the back end can tilt the tandem forward,it is explained on the horizon hobby preview vid

  • @rawdog268 cool. Thanks for the comment! Yeah, it was just something I noticed when I got it, but you are correct.

  • great video...thank you....make me decide to buy this heli for my 10 years old daughter..x-mas present...will see how it goes....thank you also for all your other videos and the one with warning regarding some "hobby shop".

  • @Lafondue Thanks for the nice comment! I'm sure your daughter will enjoy flying this fun micro helicopter!

  • yo man make more vids of the mcxt thanks

  • Great vid is this heli a good heli for befeners because it looks sick

  • @monsterspectacularrc Thanks! Yes, th is heli is great for a beginner.

  • cool cool how much can take the heli???

  • nice review, what do you think would be a good step up from a mcx2?

  • @NickPech mSR after mCX2

  • ur such a geek, of corse I am too; im just a closet geek :)

  • @NickPech lol

  • where do you buy your helis and airplanes?

  • @xSilveRxKit most from horizon hobby.

  • I like this video. great shooting.

  • Hallo! Many thanks for this video, very instructive and exaustive! I've just received my Tandem, but, even if I am using a DX6i too, the helo does'nt seems so fast and fluid on turns...are you using some expos or settings onto the DX6i?

    Thanks again from Italy...

  • I just subscribed. I am surprised that I am not already so..what an informative RC source!

  • @shangsandy87 Thanks :)

  • You seem like a cool guy! What's your day job?

  • @IcanCuNowcanUCme Hey, sorry for the late response! My 'day job' - well...I own a company called Earthling's Computers Ltd. which builds/sells custom desktop computers. I also trade stocks almost daily... and I soon plan to start a pet breeding and babysitting business.

  • @earthling1984 Thanks. Cool!

  • you make very nice videos :D 5*

  • Thanks :)

  • Hello I just had a question. I fly Helicopters and was thinking about trying a parkzone plane. How hard do you think it will be to pic up plans ?

    Cool video!

  • start with a 3ch and see how you go from there. You should have no problem!

  • get a micro j-3 cub or vapor or ember2 to start. Then head up to the p-51 or sukhoi micros, then to the P-51, BF-109G, Trogan full sizes.

  • @JayBird3442, I was in the same boat as you, it depends what kind of heli's you have been flying.

If you have been flying 450 helis go straight to a parkzone trojan (that is what I did, with some g4 sim time), but if you have been flying a blade mcx start with a parkzone super cub.

  • very good vedio

  • Thanks :)

  • Looks nice :)

  • Awesome vid! Keep up the great work with your RC channel!

  • Awesome, It's like a Chinook :D

I think I might get that, I've never had a tandem heli either.

Haven't flown in a while (quit after I crashed a plane in a horrible wreck (beyond repair)), but if It's good for beginners, I can handle it.

And a little off topic, I have the same tray tables/set up tables (not sure if their called tray everywhere else) you have, like what you first landed it on.

I really enjoy your RC videos.

  • For sure this would be a great choice if you are a beginner. This or the MCX. Both are great for learning helicopter orientation. The MCX is a little less expensive, however, the MCXT has the better charger and larger capacity battery, as well extra motors, rotors, etc. for the 2nd blade set, so that is what raises the cost, and it is worth it.

  • Comment removed

  • lol, it's got blinky-blink on it!

    Nice review, crashes included.

  • Cool! I'm still on my test helicopter Heli Hogs from Walmart lol. I got it to try before I got a more expensive one and get use to the feel of flying :) But my local hobby shop has some nice beginners small helicopters around $200.

  • What brand? For a beginner I'd really recommend a good quality coaxial. First suggestion would be the Blade mCX which I think is $129.99 currently for the RTF with free shipping from horizonhobby. For sure that price is nicer, and e-flite helicopters are just wonderful! Perfect control and since it is an ultra micro, it is very durable, just turn off the rotor if you are going to crash and it will just fall to the ground unharmed.(most of the time)

  • @earthling1984 Wow, the price went down. It is $119 for the mCX RTF, and the mCX300 is only $99!!!! The mCX and mCX300 are basically the exact same thing, just a different body. Much better than $200 and they are both great little helicopters!

  • I believe the one he said would be a good beginner heli is novus cx

  • how long does the charge last

  • 5 to 8 minutes depending how you fly... like if you land often or keep it in the air constantly, and how much throttle you use.

  • Great review, really, nice planes and helis, good job.

  • Thanks :)

  • is that a custom case on the CX??

  • yes. My fiance', Cassie, painted it to look like a MASH helicopter...

  • thats epic lol

do you know if it is possible to get replacement legs/stands/whatever you call them for the MCX?? mine broke already and i just taped them on and it seems to work fine but i might need new ones.

  • :)

Yes you can. Go to the website - horizonhobby - and do a search for EFLH2222

  • they should also be available at your local hobby shop for the same price(maybe slightly higher)

  • yeah but how do you take the old one off? its like glued on

  • The landing gear? It shouldn't be glued on. It should pull out... It might be slightly stuck in there, but it should just pull out. Be careful, don't force it too hard, but it should just pull out.

  • Okay thanks =)

  • i got an MCX yesterday and it owns lol

WAAAAAYYYY BETTER than the 40 dollar wal-mart crap lol

  • LOL... of course it is way better! :) The 'toy' helicopters you find in stores are just worthless ;p
