I don't know other female villians either. I believe he just wanted a good female villian that could be a big challenge as all other villians were in this show. Spectacular Sable was well done in this show in my oppinion so I accept that change.

My biggest issue with this show is the women's design. I'm getting used to the style, it fits the show, honestly! I just can't get used to the look of the women as they all look the same besides colour and hair styles. Black Cat could have passed as Gwen's age if she had a different voice. Heck, even May looks like a teenager with died hair. At least the men get an individual design so they don't all look alike - you can tell they're old/teen/etc. You can't with the gals (to the same degree).

Tombs is actually more of a Mafia enforcer in the comics and also was a hired hitman for the Kingpin even before he got his superpowers. In the comics he was always after Robbie Robertson.

True, but apparently Kingpin is now considered a Daredevil villain (Even though I'm pretty sure he originated from Spiderman), and they couldn't use him because of it, so they had to use a Gangman replacement, so in the Spiderman universe, their two big choices were Hammerhead and Tombstone.
