Poor rendition here. He is lazy or casual. I don't blame him. Singing an average song thousand times on stage must be really boring. Venugopal is a good singer, but that doesn't mean that he "should" sing well every time. Sachin gets out for duck, and no one blames him. Those things are part of the package.

But is there a better singer than KJY? I too like Venugopal's singing, he is a good singer.

But no comparison to KJY. When you run down KJY under the pretext of praising Venu, you in fact insult both the singers.

Venugopal is a very good singer. But to say that you need not run down Yesudas.

Please don't compare Venu with Yesudas, You are insulkting both the singers by doing that. The distance between Yesudas and the other singers is too huge to ignore.

Or, on second thoughts, you said it right. Venugopal could never become to the forefront (to be the best singer) because of Yesudas, who is incomparably the best. Think as a music lover, and keep aside your partisanships, friend.
