I am a basist, I also am a guitarist for over 10 years. This (FOR ME) is the only song Deicide did that I like. BUT!!!! you had to focus to hear the bass. Hear, its freaking poping all over the place. GREAT JOB> still the only reason I like this song *(deicide) is because hte end. The music, vocals, just comes together perfect gets the mood across perfectly.

The music was mediocre, the vocals were a joke, the album its self was below par for Decapitated, a band that produced Winds of Creation, Nihility and The Negation, all albums which are revolutionary in Death Metal, then produce an album which is something that isn't even considered Death Metal, more of a "New wave Metal" It's a joke. Saoron was and still is the best vocalist Decapitated will ever have. Covans influence on the band is awful.

I'm with you man. The Negation makes my neck sore. And after listening to Organic Hallucinosis a few times I've gotten used to Covan's voice, lot's of good stuff on that album too, especially Post Organic and Flash B(l)ack. I think Covan has potential, but he has to work on making his sound more natural, he has some nice natural sounding screams in Day 69. Maybe after a few albums he'll find his groove, it took Sauron a couple of albums, too.
