  • "you might be a redneck if you wade into a creek to save a fawn in your Sunday's best."

No, your just doing what humans should do naturally. I applaud you sir.

  • That was very good of you to go out there and save that baby, especially with only being able to use one arm.

  • He saved it :3 it might have died Ty animal saver

  • AWWWW whos a good LITTLE MAN?

  • @girlwhocares12 I prefer the stalk and arrow method personally.

  • ZERO dislikes ! --- > KOOL ! ^___^

  • @Midas1O Actually my arm wasn't broken it is paralyzed and this was before my amputation. Thanks for the compliment!

  • You folks are awesome! Thanks for the lovely deed! Blessings for your family!

  • yayyyy for dad!

  • If I was backpacking, there is a good chance I would have eaten it. Is that mean?

  • @Masowai nah, but only if you needed to eat it. I prefer to wait until they are about 100 lbs live weight, tasty.

  • im gunna sound stupid but i totally misjudged the measure of everything cuz when the guy came walking in i was like "holy shit hes a giant"

  • The child has already learned compassion, he said "how cool is that!" Cool family.

  • Respect and compassion for all living things is the best lesson you can teach to your children. They will remember that act always and it will shape their lives for the better.

  • Well done a fine example.

    Be kind !

  • yay bambi was saved yet again by the being that killed his mother lol

  • @ShortLifeProductions yeah, I hate to see good meat go to waste, lol!

  • @jruzich43 lol probly to scrawny at its age but hey meats meat lol

  • "I guess you might be a redneck if you wade into a creek to save a fawn in your Sunday's best."

No, it doesn't make you a redneck, just a compassionate person. It's people like you that give "human" a good name. And you set a great example for your child in the process.

Well done, there's a special place in heaven for people like you.

  • great man and family.......thank god for people like you who still care.

  • thank for caring so much for protecting an animal. shows compassion. u will be blessed in return. most stupid people would leave it, but u are not one of those people.

  • @AKAMrFlash I hunt all the time but I also feed my family on pure organic meats and only take what I need. A true outdoorsman respects life and preserves it when he can.

  • May God bless you for being so kind to save an aminal.

  • No sir, not a redneck. A good human being.

  • see peta, hunters aren't just murderers, they want to protect the wildlife while having fun and keeping the population from overgrowing.

  • @meesha8558 seriously??? So the deer lodged it's leg in a rock and decided to put its muzzle underwater in order to "have a good time?"

  • @jruzich43 Damn child calm down. Ever hear of sarcasm? P.s it probably died like a day later. Also your ugly.

  • @meesha8558 and i think it would have run of if "dad" had got close

  • @simcaP60fan Wow take the tampon out your butt, it was a joke.

  • @meesha8558 I know this is 9 months old; you spelled "deer" wrong.

  • @meesha8558 Are you really that dumb? If it was "having a good time" it would have dashed off the minute it sensed humans....-.-''

  • God bless you! And beautiful river!

  • I love seeing videos like this. It reminds you that despite everything you hear and see on the news, there is still some good left in this world. Thank you so much for what you did and for posting it for us to see. =D

  • @English3Muffin no prob, I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

  • @English3Muffin

The bad things are the only things they show in the media because it gets more views. It's a little foolish to think the world was a bad place to begin with.

  • quick question......was the graduation in the woods?

  • @funnyman322 lmao, no, but being that I do reside in Pike Co thats not a dimb question, lol

  • What a beautiful scene of kindness and respect for nature and wild animals. Didn't even think about your arm being in a sling, either - just picked up the poor little thing with one arm.

  • In a sling no less. You're a real trooper.

  • "daddy help it ".. awww. thst sounded soo cute <3

  • Awww bless to the fawn and the person

  • god bless you

  • Thank you!!! You're a wonderful human being. :D

  • Awwww! Kudos to you!

  • aaawwwwwwww

  • Normally I don't rip on people but you are dumber than a post, the mom took it right back, I sat there & watched it, she was never more than 20 yards. I grew up in the woods and have never seen an animal not take their young back, those old sayings are just myths & wives tales. The fawn fine and I'm 110% sure that it was healthy & going to live a normal life. If I wouldn't have interceded it would have died anyhow. What kind of crackerjack, urbanized education did you receive on the outdoors?

  • @EmIlYrOsEaLlEn Perhaps if you learned to spell you illiterate mongtart we might believe you more when you claim im am a wildlife officer now would you kindly find a high place and a sharp stick then jump from one on to the other.

  • @19780433 hahahha, that was awesome, "now would you kindly find a high place and a sharp stick then jump from one on to the other," hahaha what a great line! And good call on the spelling, I'd hate to be the wildlife that she's "protecting"

  • @EmIlYrOsEaLlEn i`m a rehabilitator! the man just helped nature out ! they do need that once in awhile! if your a wildlife officer you must have slept through all your classes! for one you can`t even spell! i hope your bosses see this post! if you can`t make an intelligent post don`t make one at all! we already know how many jerks are out there!

  • no a redneck would kill it or watch it die.

  • @hop1pop--Not any I know, only sadistic people would whether they are rednecks or not. I do hunt and kill but I don't want ANY animal to needlessly suffer. Any true outdoors-man would do this, I can guarantee that, a true outdoors-man has respect for wildlife and not just an attitude of killing. If I thought it was on death's doorstep I'd have put it down so it didn't suffer but it wasn't and it needed to be saved. Its attitudes & comments like yours that give hunters & rednecks a bad image.

  • @jruzich43

    True, My bad.

    "Respect!"

  • Well done!

  • aww thats so cool!!!yeah good job!lol

  • Good job!

  • AWESOME!!!

  • heartwarming!! and wth one arm! kodos. thanks

  • U R AWSOOOOOOOOOME

  • gentle giant

  • what a good guy

  • What do you mean by that? I'm a huge hunter, going tomorrow in fact & so is my wife. Most every person I know is a hunter & they all would have done the exact same thing. I feel sorry for you and the fact that you have been brainwashed into thinking that hunters are heartless, bloodthirsty killers. In fact most hunters are more caring about the environment and do more to save it than treehuggers, if not for hunters and the revenue the create most state parks would not be able to exist.

  • But thank you for the compliment!

  • LMAO you got burned

praising a hunter... the very same hunter you hate.....go figure

jruzich43 is correct, hunters put a lot of cash into wildlife management, we do much more for nature than you and your anti's ever would.

  • way to go

  • Well done!

  • you're my favorite redneck now!!!

  • yet again a TRUE outdoorsmen

  • Yay. good for you. =)

  • Loved it! I am so glad you were there or the little baby could have died. Fawns are soo precious!

  • That is too cool man! Way to go...

  • Wow, very interesting video you made. haha It seems like you got a lot of comments on it. (= good job on that! Make more

  • Hunters: Not JUST mindless killing machines.

    /applaud

  • @BCOShinsou listen moron.... its called hunting for a reason ... not killing... learn your facts before you make yourself look like an asshole again.

  • @backyardhunter99 Learn proper grammar before calling someone a moron, keyboard ranger.

  • perhaps you will reunite in a few years.....that was an awesome video and a great display of humanitarianism...as well as a true conservationist and very touching....I was very impressed to say the least.

  • Bless your heart!

  • Thank you for caring and sharing .

  • That was a cool thing to do .

  • Now that's a true outdoorsman!!! I would have done the same thing.....now come deer season that's a different story.

  • I hear that. If it were huntin' season it would have been taking up residence in my freezer!

  • Great job.

  • Rescuing tomorrows steaks today! Dang, I just got tears on my keyboard.

  • lol, thats awesome! but you are right, will be some tasty backstraps this winter
