  • It is lovely, i don't have much space so mine is on my bookshelf, plus my hubby is an athiest and thinks it is a load of trash. Loved watching your video and thankyou so much for sharing with us

  • @Morriagana Thanx! I'm glad that you liked this altar! This was my pride and joy for the longest time :D! Well, I'm sure that your hubby might not agree with your beliefs in this moment in time, but I'm sure he supports you no matter what♥ Thank you so much for taking the time to check out this old altar of mine ^_^

  • lovely altar. reminds me of my first one :)

  • @StephanieRoze Thanks :] that's very cool that it reminds you of your first one :3 I can't believe how far I've come since this one!

  • I'm sooo going to buy that feather knife. I found a bunch on Ebay :)

  • @eliask93 Yayy!! I love my knife it's pretty spiffy :] I hope you enjoy yours♥

  • I love your altar and I know what its like to be a poor person :p I need to get a snuffer as well. Welcome to the craft Blessed Be!

  • that pink crystal is an agate slab.

  • @skittlej007 thank you, I know that now xD I should probably put an annotation up ^_^

  • @xxxSavvyxxx haha your welcome and i kinda figured you would already no but i just told you just in case X)

  • @skittlej007 ^_^ thanks!! Blessings )O(

  • Red candle for the goddess? No. Red, Yellow, and Gold are God symbols. White, green and blue are goddess candles.

  • @Azareas123 keep in mind that this is her personal altar, and maybe red felt right for the goddess for her. It might not be the "right" way, but in my oppinion there is not right way. do what feels right for you, because otherwize whats the point in being wiccan if you just follow the crowd?

    )O(

  • @LexiWinchester I agree with you =] Also, some people use specific coloured candles for specific deities such as pink for Aphrodite, Venus etc. I love that about wicca, (and neo-paganism in general) it lets you celebrate in your own way -^_^

Love your altar, that card really is gorgeous! I would recommend picking up a book on crystals, even just a pocket sized one for identifying them, then look them up online. Good luck on your journey and blessed be! ♥ )O( ♥

  • @CraftyMoonWitch Merry meet & thank you hun :) This video is old, sense then, I've picked up quite a few books on crystals. One of my favorite ones is called "The Crystal Healer" by Philip Permutt!! I love that book, the crystals are organized by color, it's awesome, check it out if you haven't seen it yet :) Thank you so much for your kind words! P.S. My tea-light red candles are cherry scented for my Deity (Japanese Cherry Blossom Goddess/Mt. Fuji Goddess)♥

  • I really love the idea of the moon water, I will have to try it!

Thank you for uploading, your altar is absolutely beautiful.

Hope you have a wonderful Imbolc.

    Blessed Be )O(

  • @ElfyWitch Thank you! I'm glad you liked it ^_^ I hope that you have a great Sabbat as well! Oh and btw you should defiantly try moon-bathing & gathering your full-moon water at the beach, it's a lot of fun if you go with a friend! Actually when I went with my bestie that specific time, we were able to witness a sea turtle lay her eggs on the beach, it was so cool! There was this documentary camera crew out there filming it, so neat!

    Blessings to you :]

  • @xxxSavvyxxx

    That sounds awesome!

I'm deffinatly going to have to try that sometime soon.

I always liked the moon better than the sun away, I burn easily.

I bet the turtle was wonderful, I remember going to Myrtal Beach in SC with my grama and mom and luckily getting to see the dolphine jump out of the water at night.

  • I know it said that the blue stone was sodalite, but look again. If it is dull blue with white "clouds" yes, sodalite, but if it's a more cobalt blue with green or white swirls or inclusions of pyrite ("fool's gold"), then it's lapis lazuli. The round stone looks like a dyed slice of a geode. I love your altar. Very cool! Blessed be!

  • @spidersbos Wow, you know you're stuff!! But yes, this specific one in the video is a Sodalite...however, you help me identify this new stone I got as a gift! It is a a Lapis Lazuli (Thank you so much)! I'm glad that you like my altar :]

    ~Blessings♥

  • nice dagger

  • I love your altar.

Does a wand work in place of substitution, rather than athame?

  • @DorkGirl14 Thank you ^_^

& to answer your question: Yes you can use your wand (or even your finger from your "power hand") in place of your athame. Don't let someone one tell you that you have to do it a certain way, it's completely up to you and what you're comfortable with :)

  • Hi,, you have a very nice altar!!! Thank you so much for sharing,,, Brightest Blessings!

  • @NaturesFairy Thank you for watching hun♥ Blessings & Love to you!

  • @loladarkgirl1 I'm replying, just sending it in a message.

  • Hey I don't practice wicca but I love learning about other walks of life. I'm Native American and we burn sage ALL the time for ceremonies and basically any tribal get together. Sage is very sacred to us too. I just thought it was cool how my worship of Deganawida and your Worship of the God and Goddess were similar in some way. Thanks for posting this!

  • @AdventOctober Hehe that's cool to know! My favorite thing to do with sage is when it's the night of the full moon, my friends & I form a drum circle, around a fire, with burning sage flowing in the air. Words cannot explain this fun musical experience :) Thank you so much for watching this video & commenting! I wish you the Brightest Blessings friend ^.^/

  • @loladarkgirl1 Sure!, I'll do my best! If you don't mind me asking, how far along are you in your Wiccan path (referring to books read and tools that are available to you at this time), I'm not criticizing, I'm just curious, what all you need at this point. ^_^ /

  • ohh wow ```this is so very nice thanks for sharing ``

  • How many inches is the athame??

  • @1996youfdontknow It's right around six & a half inches. If you look it up online it's called "Celtic Boot Dagger/Knife." I love it, it was a great gift ^.^

  • beauteful altar...love the athame^^

  • @1996youfdontknow

    Aww thank you!!

  • @xxxSavvyxxx I absolutly love the cauldron/sage idea, blessed be )O(

  • beauteful altar...love the athame^^

  • The blue stone looks like blue quartz, the yellow stone looks like yellow agate... but hard to tell from here. :) Blue quartz good for throat center, yellow agate good for solar plexus center... agate very healing, blue quartz very calming...

  • @brightbite

Thanks for watching & commenting, I found out what the blue one was but forgot to post it, the blue one is called "sodalite" I got a new book which is teaching me more about crystals ^_^ I think you're right about the yellow agate, thanks for the help :]

    Blessed Be!

  • its so adorable!! i love it! :D

quick question, what editing software do you use?

    -bright blessings,

    tichondria

  • @Tichondria

    Thank you!!

I used "Windows Movie Maker" to edit the video and just the normal "Sound Recorder" in Windows to create the voice over...but I would suggest using Pinnacle Studio (It's much better and easier to work with, I just don't have a good copy of it right now)
