i dont live where it snows, so i got a question....why bother snowing or plowing. couldnt you just step on the snow. its bound to get covered up by more snow anyway?
for cars and vehicles. Snow is like driving on ice. That is why it is important to get it out of the way. It is also very difficult to walk through snow, then it gets in your shoes and your feet are very cold and wet.
2) if it accumulates, it can get too deep to walk in
3) when old snow gets packed down under new snow, it usually turns into ice, which will then make your sidewalk/driveway a skating rink when the new snow melts/is cleared.
3) in many municipalities you have to clear your sidewalks by law. this makes sense: it's hard for the elderly and children, not to mention mail carriers, to traverse snow.
@bluestrobe1 theirs a few reasons like 1. its ilegal to leave your side walks unplowwed for more than 48 hours. 2. when you walk through snow it gets you shoes and pants wet and very cold, 3 snow can be slipery. 4. if you leave it for long it will make a layer of ice under the snow which is even more slipery than snow but you can't see it (if its covered by snow still) 5 it takes long to melt somtimes
Looks a little bit like Mason on the way to Dollar General.

several reasons.
1) a light amount of snow is often slippery
2) if it accumulates, it can get too deep to walk in
3) when old snow gets packed down under new snow, it usually turns into ice, which will then make your sidewalk/driveway a skating rink when the new snow melts/is cleared.

No and I turned it up to 100% to check. I'm using Firefox. Not sure if that makes a difference.
