Queenstown is amazing...just returned to Canada after 10 days of excursions including all the MUST DO's ...Shotover River Jet, Milford Sound overnight with Real Journeys, and horseback riding in Glenorchy just to name a few. Our favorite places to eat are OLD MAN ROCK Cafe (best eggs benny, flat whites, and excellent friendly personable service) and CHICO's Bar and Grill for dinner (mentioned in the video) ! Queenstown = A SPECTACULAR VACATION!

I was in New Zealand last Dec. Was in Queenstown for 3 days. New Zealand is a very beautiful country, with very friendly people. I will definitely go there again in the future.

im so exited! im going to Qeenstown in 2 days. So exited been on internet looking at video and pics all night! Im so obsessed. And so exited! Im already packed and everything I just cant wait! i have never left my state since I was ever born. Its a massive thing for me going to new country, and thankyou for this video. It makes me even more exited and inspired!

You absolutely have to do the Shotover Jet - you can get picked up in town and it is the most fun - ever. You can't see it so well from the video (although it's really good) becuase they take you right through the canyon, but it's so fast and you go so close to the rocks - such a blast (really safe though - very safety conscious). Also you must have a Fergburger while you're there - they're in the main part of the town and they are HUGE

I compressed the edit (Quicktime on Finalcut Pro) - relatively higher compression rate, but the same resolution as Youtube requires using Sorensen squeeze, instead of Divx. But the real key is in the shooting - I used a tripod, and little camera movement (mostly steady shots). Music I composed on my Mac laptop as well. More questions?

Queenstown is a very fun place and a good, solid introduction to NZ for a first-time visitor (It's where I went first.). One of my favorite things about it is that it's large enough to have a lot to see and do but still small enough not to be a chaotic madhouse. I think of Q-town as excitement at a controlled pace.
