  • Dude, cut your fingernails...

  • would you sell me the trainer?

  • the forth butterfly knife has more play on it than a playground LOL!!!!!

  • Those three black Benchmades look alot like Bear&Sons balisongs.

  • @AlwaysMeetsForever FUCK YEA!!!

  • a cigar and a bunch of knives= good fucking time! all you need now is a glass of scotch

  • I got a Balisong in the Phillippines and I saw the guy make it himself.

  • are these the scapel sharp ones?

  • Can i please buy one off you email me at

    Eric.marom88@gmail.com

  • any idea on how i can get my hands on a model 42 benchmade. ive been looking for about two months now with no luck.

  • @Dlewow2011 They're not in production anymore so when you find them they're expensive as FUCKKKK. Just get a 51 (morpho) they're just as cool. But if you really want the 42 expect to be paying a LOT of cash.

  • do you need to smoke your gay cigar when you record?

  • dude...cut your fingernails

  • he was smokin a fat blunt in the beginin mad props haha

  • Dave, you know BM still reservices their really old Bali's right? Thats how you still see ones in "like new" condition on the forums!

  • 0:37 "cleaned some of them off..." the stab-blood, that is.

  • Nice! Check my channel.

  • you can buy 10 crappy flea market balisong's that will break after a week or get one benchmade for the rest of your life.

  • Can I buy 1

  • hey would you be willing to sell one of the pcc 239?? all i have is a ccc and cant afford any nice balis on todays market. :(

  • HEY! HEY! Look; I smoke cigars and don't cut my nails. I have made a point to show that to the world.

Your ego wants the entire world to know you smoke cigars? I think "psychopathic douche" explains most accurately.

    No offense tho...

  • hey can i buy one

  • Those black ones are like the bear and sons knives now, i have a couple

  • ill buy your BM40T for $200 if you still have it

  • I want that BM42 TR so badly. Nice collection there.

  • Bohler Uddeholm are austrian steel maker, one of the few doing powder steels after Crucible Materials Corporation bankruptcy.

  • cigar really?

  • where did you get your model 42

  • can i buy those old ones from u??????????????

  • that has hex screws not pins

  • @Wetwillieproduction1

Not sure which knife you're taking about. The older models are pins. The 42 and 32 are actually Torx screws, not hex.

  • @nycdave212 whats with your thumbs?

  • how much do you want?

  • @uwanaugoda

Not looking to sell any of them at this time. but thanks for watching!

  • The current model is the 51 morpho

  • @sexybubbles666

also the 32 morpho, which that one is, and the classic 42.

and nycdave, theyre called tang pins

  • @sexybubbles666

At the time this video was made, the 42 was the current model.

  • hey are you interested in selling the bm40tr?

  • I'm grateful for this video. thanks

but.. the Balisong i have has the exact markings of the second knive you should.

But looks like the first knive you showed. Also it has the t Latch... Can you tell me if mines a earlier version of model 42? or...

  • @RetroNBA

You're welcome, Man. Thanks for watching.

Sorry I can't answer for sure... If you can post a quick vid showing it, or post a pic somewhere and send me a link, I can answer you then.

    Thanks again.

  • @nycdave212

Would i be able to private message you with the pictures and questions about ?

  • Would you be willing to sell one of your 4X models? I'd be willing to pay a lot for one.

  • @RepEvox

Heya Man... Not o sell anything right now... but will keep you mind if I do.

    Thanks for watching!

  • Love seeing these older benchmades!

  • @mlacey56

    Thanks for watching, Man!

  • my benchmade 42 tip is a little bit bent do you know how to make it perfectly straight again? also is it true that benchmade discontinued the 42?

  • @simplyslender11

I would send it back to Benchmade and let them make it right.

And yes, the 42 has been discontinued.

    Thanks for watching!

  • @simplyslender11

i called benchmade and asked about that bc mine is to and they said if you send it in for the lifesharp thing to get resharpened that that will fix it. and ya its true. sad isnt it?

  • They say that the benchmade model 42 is the best balisong you can buy! What do you think?

  • @ConnorwithaO

Heya, Man.. There are a number of great production and custom Balisongs out there to choose from... some better then others. I will say that the BM-42 is iconic, and just all around awesome bali. I think any balisong fan should own one once in their lives... it is that good.

  • hi my rael name is also dave.

    cool. you smoke a cigar

  • @kungfud2dave

    Thanks, Man!

  • Hey guess what?! I don't know if you've heard, but they aren't making the 42 anymore...

  • Yep... kind of a shame... inevitable though... But I wouldn't be surprised if we see it make an appearance in future sprint runs...

But the BM51 is really gonna be something!

    Thanks for watching & commenting!

  • My friend thinks he will like it more than the 42. He has small hands, and has trouble doing the full twirl and stuff because of the weight. I was like that when I first got my benchmade too, but he has been flipping for a long time. Hey, if you get one, will you put up a review video maybe? I've only seen one so far..I like to hear other peoples opinions before buying. Thanks a billion!

    -Adam

  • Of course, Man! Will be sure to get a vid up after I've had a couple of days with the knife. Give me a couple of weeks to get a hold of one and get some play time with it... I'm really looking forward to it.

    Thanks!

  • Awesome! Thank you very much.

    -Adam

  • hey man I got My movie program to work so I got a video of my 42 going If I post it as a video response is that good for you?

  • Solid, Man... go for it...

  • i dont mean to insult you but y r your nails so long

  • No worries, no insult taken.. simple answer - because.

Thanks for watching, however, I'm sorry that vid was unable to inspire you to pose a more germane, constructive, or even intriguing question or comment.... thanks for watching anyway.

  • cool i dont realy have any questons if i did i would of asked

  • Cool... All good man... Interesting flipper you picked up and posted a vid on... Pretty unique... good stuff!

  • yah that was the main reason i got it never saw anything like it very unique

  • I wich the cold steel arc angel was still available.

  • Heya, thanks for watching! I never got to play around with that model... What was your experience with it? Good stuff?

  • Ya I wish I could get one... they are discontinued. They were simular to the model 42. The biggest differences were the handles were longer, they had a removeable pocket clip, they had a regular T latch and the blade was made of 1095V or carbon V. There were other small differences but these were the most distinct ones. I really want to get one if I can but... The search continues/

  • @nycdave212

i have a arcangel. probably just as good as the 42 just not as well made maybe the only downfall. but mine still flips well after 4 years

  • I would love to get the trainer balisong but its just so expensive i ended up just buying the BM32 instead (which i was gunna get anyways so its not a big deal)

  • Very cool, Man.. the 32 is just awesome.. Congrats!

  • Dave do you find the pocket clip on the 32 to make it a bit harder to do certain manipulations?

  • Heya, Man. I did some flipping on the 32 just before replying to this to be sure my feelings were current... Yes.. the clip does affect it to some degree. But I believe if you spend enough time with it, you'll adjust for it (there are some great vids out there of guys doing impressive stuff with it).

When I originally got it, I did call BM and requested some screw studs in order to remove the clip. However, they just sent me screws. I haven't bothered them again yet.. Maybe will try again ;)

  • They started as Bali-Song Inc. during the 70s, then they changed there name to Pacific Cutlery Corp and they made more than just Balisongs at that point, after that, they are know known as Benchmade Knife Company.

  • Thanks for the clarification, much appreciated! I had added a small comment in the description, but your comments provides much better history. Thanks!

  • i love the black coating. had it on my 47 with the t latch. the latch wouldn't hit the blade though.

  • take alittle rubber O-ring and put it on the latch, it will make the latch stay out, or use the rubber guard on the nails that have them

  • nice

  • Thanks for watching!

  • great video series, good to see some balsiong on your channel! I knew a few guys who had some custom handkles made up for their old PCC (pacific cutlery co, or pore-benchmade) international series models...the blades held up great on most of them but the zamach does wear out with alot of use...anyway just wanted to say I really enjoyed these videos! thanks!!!!

  • Heya, Man, thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it...

If viewers haven't, I hope they soon will, check out all of your Bali-vids - both reviews and demonstrations... They're all simply awesome!

I just might look into some customization for the older Bali's.. that could be cool.. thanks for bringing that up!

    Good stuff, Man!

  • Very Good, as always!

  • Thanks, Man! Appreciate you watching!

  • Dude I am jealous of your knife collection! Its NICE! (Borat)

  • Heya, thanks, Man... Nothing to be jealous of man.. it's just a work in progress i've been adding to over the years. Just like any collection, just takes time and patience, picking up pieces when you can :)

    Thanks watching!

  • Buddy, those pre latch gate, ZAMAK's are pretty rare models, even though ZAMAk is another word for Munky Metal or Pot Metal, its still rare and gorgeous.

  • Thanks, Man... appreciate the heads-up :) When I bought them, I never even thought they'd last this long (hence the multiple purchases)... they did/do wear out very fast... Thanks for watching!

  • those 3 especially the PCC model are eye candy to Balisong lovers, this is a very amazing video trust me, i have only seen i think 3 other PCC models on video before but never those ZAMAKS... actually, the only time ive ever even seen those man is when i saw a photo copy of the old catalog. so your collection is VERY nice my friend.

  • Heya man... much thanks! One quick clarification, and sorry I may have been a bit misleading in the vid, but all of them are Post-PCC Balisongs... I was just remembering PCC and happened to be holding an old one.. Sorry for any confusion... They were all under the "Benchmade" at the time...

I do wish I still had the PCC Bali I started out on, but it was "removed" from my care... And I replaced it with the above... Thanks for the enthusiasm and comments! Much appreciated!
