  • hi!!! does the camera record without the lcd open? can i use it as a spy camera?

  • @lfnAlex not in the normal closed position.. but you can pull it out and twisted it around so its closed but the screen is facing out

  • do you know why the video doesnt fit the whole box??

  • lol 2 mins of recording time...haha do you reccomend this camera?

  • please answer what is the best quilty i could put other than 1080 and 720 hd cause it takes long to upload

  • great cam how much

  • THANK YOU for mentioning the Tripod socket. We have been looking everywhere wondering if it had one or not! Great review!

  • @MissCaseyB Thats why i mentioned it because when i was looking at it no website anywhere or even the manual from HP says if it had one or not

  • Hey dude, I just bought a cam that is exactly the very same camera as this one...The mic, the light, the buttons and all that stuff are all in the same places as this one, the settings are the same and all.....only the brancd is another (Sumishi) and the name of the model (HDV740b).

I'm impressed because it is the very very same model...I believe Sumishi did those cams for HP and then got "independent"....don't know.

You can check out the video in my channel...hey, tell me about the wide angle

  • This was actually really helpful. Thanks!

  • great review but how come my video wont be in hd with this cam when upload to youtube

  • @xyxyxyfan If you use a program or something to upload it to youtube, it's going to upload it as 640x480 which used to be the standard video size of youtube. to get the full HD resolution you need to upload it manually.

  • @4OhFour oh ok thanks and why does it take so long to upload and what do you mean by upload it manually

  • @xyxyxyfan well, HD files are large, and it's normal for them to upload slowly, and by manually I mean go to the YouTube homepage, then click the Upload button. If this is what you normally do, you might want to check the settings on the camera.

  • @4OhFour oh thats what in do and my problem is fixed it goes hd thank you for help
