  • he was Amy Wallace brother, and his father Irving Wallace? is he? helpppp

  • Amy Wallace Havens is his Sis; James Wallace is his Pop.

  • i awoke this morning and this video was on my suggested video screen. loving DFW as i do, i had to watch and listen.

thank you for posting this evocative piece. listening, i had the feeling that the recurring F# and E were the ever-present demons that fueled so much of his mania, while the lead was his muse given full voice. regardless, i think the piece met his standard of "what it feels like to be a fucking human being."

    bravo. and thanks,

all the best and then some,

    michael

  • you are nothing but welcome.

    keep up the great work.

all the best and then some,

    michael

  • which song is this? thanks for this tribute

  • I just made it up. It's a simple riff of F# and E power chords with a delay effect from a pedal, then I'm improvising using mostly F# pentatonic minor.

  • So well done. Did you know him?

  • Thanks.

    Unfortunately, I never met him.

  • Nice.

    Peace now, DFW.

  • this is very well done

  • great playing man!

    Greatest author ever.

  • Thank you. Such a tragic loss. RIP, DFW.

  • Thank you very much for this tribute. Have a great day every day.
