8 year old assembles a Simplicity Sofa in less than 5 minutes

This was obviously rehearsed. I'd like to have seen if they had taken a completely random kid off the street and asked him to assemble the couch with no instructions or prior information.

That being said, it *looks* like good furniture, but I simply cannot accept the ridiculously high price tags for their furniture.

For people wondering if this is sturdy furniture - All frames are solid oak. Our standard cushions are 8 1/2" thick premium grade Ultracel foam.  Frames, spring units & cushions are all backed by lifetime warranties. I am the owner of Simplicity Sofas. I would like to apologize for the terribly loud music on this video. The person who created it for us has disappeared and I can't find anyone who knows how to fix the volume without the original files.

That kid has nothing on us. We totally beat him by a minute.........Okay, well, perhaps we are two adults, and we watched this video before attempting to put the furnitutre together.

We love the couch. We got the Lorelei. It is not flimsy. This is a creatively-crafted piece of furniture and is solid.  Plus, the quality is better than anything I found in the local furniture stores.

The hardest part of this purchase was selecting the fabric because the company offers so many choices.

The simplicitysofas watermark advert is really throwing me off; that should be at the end of the video or in the description comments. Otherwise tune down the music, add a background voice explaining how it is being assembled, and get rid of the watermark. @ardms1 I'm agreeing with you...the back support seems a little flimsy. I didn't measure it but that back support looks ~3" thick. It feels like that would break with one good flop.

Mr. Frank, I ordered fabric swatches from your company genuinely interested in possibly purchasing a sofa from your company. I viewed the video following my order of the swatches. Seeing a child assemble a large piece of furniture with the ease of putting together of 10 piece puzzle assures me that the sofa is not the standard of furniture of which I buy. I or a child would have difficulty simply moving my current sofas. The video left me with an impression of a 'flimsy' piece of furniture.

@ardms1 The opposite is true for me. After watching the video, this design is ingenious. Watch some of the other videos from other companies. They look like a royal pain to assemble. Comparing your other furniture to this is apples-to-oranges. if you have such high standards, visit Raymour and Flanigan and pick something in the $2000 range and have it delivered. This furniture is made to fit through tight spaces like we have in our basement stairwell.

@ardms1 I just got my SImplicty sofa, chair, and, ottoman. I ordered it with white-glove delivery, assembly, and disposal of packing materials. The furniture is best I've ever owned. The back is no less sturdy than my last sofa. I ordered the upgrade down cushions, the support is firm. The upholstering is perfect. I agree with Rookie35m, it is simply ingenious. I will say from the back the joints are visible compared to a conventional upholstered piece, and I have no problem with this.
