  • a little kissy kissy there and a little nibble there O! k this my hurt a bit

  • @gnossticc oh yeah no doubt. crazy shit

  • When the mantis was holding that bug in it's arms, face to face, it reminded me of that iconic scene from Aliens vs Predator...

  • mantis "i like to start with the legs first cuz the is nice and crunchy." XD

  • mantises are sick bastards. it snatched it then it was like "hmmm what to do with you, where to start eating you first" frakkin gangster insect

  • lol it was like dam u stop scratching my face *snatch*

  • I have a sub adult pair that I am willing to part with due to other projects consuming a lot more time.

    I am open for trades.

The pair is $70.00, I will ship world wide, I am in USA. I can pack insulation with wool, 72 hour heat pack, and super secured containers hotglued inside of package so the containers do not bounce around at all. The box will be stuffed with wool too! :D

  • lol it just snatched that poor bastard and just started knawing away omg sucks to be that wasp

  • anybody on here can get any species of ootheca of actual nymphs of idolomantis diabolica private message me please. i live in NJ, usa.

  • what were you feeding it?

  • actually it's only a misconception , the name belongs to the idolomantis diabolida , the only reason I can see why the species ar emixe dup is the lobes on th back of the abdomen, otherwise I thnk the two are very easy to tell apart

  • did you create the names of mantises?

i was only being silly not trying to start an argument or anything but then there are people lik you who seem to go around yelling at people, it is a misconception as somebody got it confused on a forum then somebody else read it and the root started, i was there at the time, so infact it is a misconception, so why dont you stfu

  • thats not devils flower mantis, this is thistle mantis they are often confused,

the real devils flower mantis is idolomantis diabolica actually they are not alike in the slightest!

  • looks more like a p. wahlbergi to me

    i could be wrong offcourse

  • It is very similar to P.wahlbergi in this stage. But when it gets it's wings, then the look changes dramatically.

  • After the third molt the mantis is L4 not L3.

  • L3 is a larval growth stage in insects. in other words, L3 designates the "third stage", or "third molt" (skin shedding) the larvae is at. Mantids typically molt 7 times before becoming an adult. any insect you observe with wings is an adult.
