@Norghul come on man he was injured in the aus open when he lost to ferrer than he was ok and he lost to dodig , mayer , tsonga....... Compare the points he play with the last year and back! he is very predictable his 1st serve went from average 127 mph to 107mph. and he hasn't that power in the strokes ! it's true that novak had an incredible season and he's very good but nadal isn't the same anymore... Djokovic was better than nadal last year but nadal lost the new season match vs monfils.....
@iLexXzZ199 It's true what you say, but for how long have you been following tennis? (no offense) Vs Ferrer he was injured, because he wouldn't loose vs Ferrer in a Grand Slam. Although Ferrer played very well. But don't tell me he is in bad shape when he won Federer in FO Final, Federer played the best sandcourt tennis ever in that tournament. (But there is still the Nadal phenomenon for Fed, I agree to that)
For the new season, loosing to Monflis was absolutely legit.
@iLexXzZ199 But, you have to keep in mind that all the great players like Fed and Nadal don't focus 100% of their energy for non grandslam tournaments, not even Masters. If you follow nearly every match, you will see this. Look at Nadal's running, he is only doing that in Grand Slams or when coming back from a pause like now in Doha, but there Monfils just played outstandingly good, where he could beat everyone.
Let's hope his rivalry with Djokovic isn't so one-sided next year. It's not exciting to watch them play when he's getting his ass handed to him point after point.
