I would just like to say thank you for helping destroy the only true conservative in this race. Thank you for giving Republicans a man who reaches left but never reaches right. Thank you for giving us a man who admittedly does not understand the economy when we are in the beginnings of a what looks like a nasty recession.
Thank you for helping ruin the character of what would have been America's best chance out of this recession just because you hate his religion.
Romney destroyed himself. Too many Americans saw through is lies, flip-flops, and insincerity.
I looks like the start of a depression. But we have a Ron Paul. The only true conservative in the race. He has genuine knowledge of economics and monetary policy, and is not just a business and stock market gamer like Romney.
Man John McCain is a joke...he said on the campaign trail that theres gunna be more wars. He wants 2 stay in Iraq 4 a 100 years and he wants 2 invade Iran. He wants 2 make the Bush tax cuts 4 corporations and the rich permanent while keeping the borders open. Hes Bush on steroids, wake up America to the oncoming fascism. n he only endorses global warming so he can introduce the carbon tax.
Romney governed as a conservative. Aside from abortion, he didn't change on any core principle. If you actually look at his record and not what the left wing pundits say, you'll find this is true.
To say he was as phony conservative is either uninformed or intellectually dishonest.
Once he knew his chances were slim, he did the honorable thing and bowed out to unite his party. Unlike Huckabee, he didn't stay in to advance himself politically.
the funniest thing is, had romney known a more moderate position would have gotten him the nomination, he wouldn't have been championed as the "conservative's conservative" at all. he was willing to change his mind on anything to win. do conservatives not see that?
This video is silly. Of course Romney's money has always been an issue and his lack of victories in key states was obviously part of the decision but as he said he doesn't want to delay the general election campaign and he agrees with McCain on the most urgent issue. So what? And he governed consistently conservative in a blue state. Just because he changed his mind on one issue doesn't mean he's a hypocrite. Also, CPAC is no more polarizing than the DailyKos socialist nanny-state hoe-down.

Mitt Romney proposed to safe-guard illegals and continue war-what a respectable canditate! Oh show me, the way to the next Ron Paul vote. Oh, we must go. Oh, we must go. Yes show me the way to the next Ron Paul vote. Oh, we must go. Oh, we must go. FOR if we don't find, the next Ron Paul vote. America goes broke. America goes broke. America. America. America goes broke......

But I'm sure, sniff, sob, you'll find yer rightful place, hic, in that great pantheon of also-rans and losers. Goodbye Mitt. Sure was nice knowin' ya.

So we'll be kicking and spiting on your flag boy when he is taken out by the middle. Who is more Lieberman-like, Clinton or O'le Mac? You lose again in the end.
Romney has spent more on advertising than all the other candidates combined! And he's won 53 silver medals! These dropout rumors are just a bunch of dirty tricks and shady back-door politics! Classic Washington-style pessimism!
I still can't quite make the connection here. Can someone tell me how a presidential candidate staying in the race until the nominee is officially picked is "helping the Democrats surrender to terror"??

In case you don't know.....
1. McCain is looking like the sure thing right now.
2. He fully supports this "war" and Bush's ideology.
3. He says he is going to stay in this war as long as it takes to "win".
4. America is in a suffocating debt largely because of this war and a continuation means certain downfall.
5. The economy drops daily fraction by fraction.
So yes, Ron Paul is pretty much done as people say constantly now and if our buddy McCain is true to his word America does go broke.
nespokesman 4 years ago
Ron Paul is not done.
They said Ron Paul was done a year ago when Rudy was the favorite. Now Rudy is out.
Then they said Fred Thompson was the front runner. He's out.
Then Huckabee won Iowa. He was the tops then. He has never recaptured that moment and he's broke. He will be out soon.
Then Mitt Romney was the conservative darling, now he's out.
Finally, there's John McCain, the fake conservative and war monger. He will also fall.
Dr. Ron Paul is the real deal.
