The red letters are Jesus. Why do you say they are not? They were written from Matthew, John, disciples of Jesus. They would know. Mark was a disciple of Peter. Luke was disciple of Paul. The problem is all sincere "Messianic" Jews, (I love them as Jews) have never heard the Jewish way of explaining these verses in particular and the Tanach in general. Who is talking in Isiaih 53? The passage of Isiah 53 follows many other passages which are songs about the servant Israel. Isaiah 41:7, and Isaiah 44:1 clearly tells us who this "servant" is.
Besides it can't be Jesus. Vs 7 says "like a sheep to the slaughter.....open not his mouth." What did Jesus do on the Cross? He accused G-d of abandoning him. "My G-d, My G-d why have You forsaken me?" He was "silent before his shearers"..
vs 5 . The nations are saying "We brought suffering upon Israel for our own selfish purposes; it was not, as we had claimed, that G-d was punishing Israel for its own evil behavior."
See vs 10. "..he will see offspring and live long days" The hebrew word here is "Zera" literaly "seed" - never means spiritual children. "Ben"-"son" can be spiritual as in "You are sons to the L-rd your G-d" Dt. 14:1
How do you see this is Jesus? Many Jews have suffered. Many Jews have died. So he suffered, what does that prove? 6,000,000 Jews were killed, maybe Chapter 53 the "servant" is Israel?
Secondly, look at Isaiah 41:8. The text CLEARLY names the "servant":

True. You have to keep in mind that Jesus ministered to the social outcasts of the day. He was not important enough for the historians of the time to document his activities. The Jewish people expected the messiah to come and conquer the world by means of the sword. But, God as always, had bigger and better ideas in mind. The amount of prophecy that predicts the messiah is astounding. Once you begin to read the bible after you accept him, you truely begin to understand God's plan.

First of all, the prophets used to say: "Thus saith the LORD." but Jesus said "I say unto you."
John 5:23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent Him.
Notice, "even as they honour the Father" the honor is like that given to God.

I'll say no. As I can't recall a definate time that HE actually said to worship Him. BUT, HE DESERVES OUR WORSHIP as God in the flesh.
At a rock concert, they typically dont say "worship us" but people do anyway, out of their love for the star.
In a similar manner, many worship Jesus simply because He is able, and does, forgive our sin, ultimately taking our hurtful guilt away! And to prove that He had this forgiving power, he showed His power over the physical realm too! See Matthew 9:2-8

Actually, that is the pont of this video on Isaiah 53 - to show how it has not changed. When the dead sea scrolls were found, and the complete book of Isaiah found with them, and it was proven to be 200 years OLDER then Christ...then we knew we could compare scriptures.
The fact is, Isaiah 53, was found to have no major differences then the Isaiah 53 we have today. The prophet Isaiah was speaking of Jesus 700 years prior to hs birth,...about Jesus's sacrifice,..through the Holy Spirit.

Yes, God can beget if He truly is God, He can do anything. As for David our brother in the faith, he said many things that were prophetic of Jesus, such as 'Father, why have you forsaken me' - when Jesus was on the cross, and 'They have cast lots for my clothing' and 'They cicle me like wolves' - meaning when Jesus dies on the cross. Jesus came to be the only sacrifice. Our deeds will not get us to heaven with the Father...surely you believe that we are all sinners in our own account?

On sources: First, don't discredit that biblical archaelogy has shown us hundreds of times over that the story basics of the cities, peoples, and events are reliable external evidences. Second, I know that you dont follow this line of thinking, but the fact that the disciples and religious men of Jesus' day did not understand what prophecies were being fulfilled means that they could not have known what text in the old testament to change. Find the words where Jesus accuses the Jews of tampering with the text, because I say He did not. The disciples wrote in Greek because that was the school's language of the day. Although most spoke Aramaic, Greek was the writing language of the Roman world they lived in. Jews feared change in the scripture and had ritual rites to make sure it was not changed. Word changes in the Bible have not changed the meaning of the message nor the fact that it was inspired by God through holy men. The changes over the centuries have been simple word changes from generation to generation and from language to language. I can tell you that Jesus rose from the grave in 20 different ways, but the basic message can still be there. Imagine a policeman as he listens to accident witnesses. They all have variations of words to explain what they saw of the same event.

When the letters were first circulated in the early days of the new testement church, many letters were made up. those letters were later taken out and only eyewitness accounts or Pauls letters were left in. The red letters are Jesus. Why do you say they are not? They were written from Matthew, John, disciples of Jesus. They would know. Mark was a disciple of Peter. Luke was disciple of Paul. They knew the events about Jesus well and shared them.

You do not take into account that the changes made in scripture over the last 3000 years have not changed the basic message that God planned a sacrificial lamb for our sins to allow our faith in that action to make us righteous. These changes in the bible text you speak of do not exist in this particular video. Isaiah 53, which speaks of the crucifiction, is 99.9% the same that we have today, as it was found in the dead sea scrolls. Jesus was a servant in that He did what God told Him to do.

I admit to changes in the text, not to changes in the story of the eye witnesses. You have your disciple to follow, I have mine. Respect that at least. As to fabrications...? Peter was a scared chicken, and all the disciples watched from afar. They would never have become so bold to make up a story about a fake event and then write about it. Something REAL: happened to them! They SAW Jesus after He was dead, and then after He came back to life. 500 people saw Jesus after He was proven dead.

Doubt from various people and faiths I can understand. Because it does take faith to believe in God because He does not show himself in ways we would like. As to the Song of Solomon which you say is Porn, it may be for adult reading, but it is about a man who loves his wife. It is also symbolic of how the husband (Jesus) loved the church (people that believe) in him. People pretend that this is evil but it is reality, most just dont talk about it. Solomon was a writer and was simply writing about his love. We keep as scripture because Solomon wrote it and it has deeper symbolic meaning of love, which God invented by male female counter parts.

I base my translation on the possibility that "Almah" can also mean virgin.
And why can this passage not have a Messianic reference within it as well as to King Ahaz? This would keep the devils from interpreting the details surrounding the Messiah.
For example, Micah 5:2 safely mentions Bethlehem as the Messiah's birth place in the middle of a discussion about the Babylonian war, yet you agree to this, true?

To give justice on this topic takes a lot of space. I will write what I can in this small space. Isaiah 53:12. Israel "bore" the sins of the nations i.e. Israel suffered at the hands of the nations. "Praying for the wicked" means in exile, Jews prayed for the welfare of their host nations.
For Jews, Messiah isn't coming to "save" us from our sins. Messiah is coming to REDEEM us from exile. Return the Jews to the Land of Israel, and bring peace to the world. Nothing to do with sins.

If this is really talking about Israel, then why does the passage say that Israel took our infirmities(v.4)? When did Israel ever take up our infirmities(grief)?
Look at vs. 5 for this next question.
When was Israel ever pierced for our sins? And also in verse 5, how did something Israel suffered in punishment bring any of us peace?!
And again in verse 12, did Israel bare the sins of anyone? Or make intercession for anyone?

The problem is all sincere "Messianic" Jews, (I love them as Jews) have never heard the Jewish way of explaining these verses in particular and the Tanach in general. The missionaries target the Jews who don't have a religious background and don't have the tools to take on these verses they throw at them. Its very sad. I hope that they will all get the message, that NONE of these "proofs" stand up to scrutiny and they should study Judaism with sincerity before going to other religions.

The Christians construed it (and some new Christian Bible's now admit to this "pious fraud") to be virgin. But that is NOT what the text says.
Besides that text is NOT Messianic at all. It's a sign to King Ahaz (500 years b/4 J.) that he will win the war against the Assyrians.

I am a Klipsch Cohen Forman Jew from every angle Jew. I've had religious background from birth. These proofs DO stand up to scrutiny. Read this Scripture, read Psalm 22 as well ~ see what it say's for yourself. Does This Scripture line up with Yah'Shua Ha Mashiach? If your spirit says yes don't listen to mere fallen flesh, "Jewish" or otherwise. Alma and virgin were synonomous when Holy Scripture was written. Any real Jew knows this. The alternative was death by stoning!

Its fubby you bring up Psalm 22. If you were realy born into a Orthodox Jewish family and knew how to read Hebrew you would know that te "proof" that Christians bring "pierced in my hands and feet" is actually a FALSE translation of the Hebrew word "kaari". FALSLY Twisted to conjure a Jesus "pierced" on the cross image. The correct translation is "Like a LION thay are at my hands and feet"

Hebrew is my first language, my language of choice. I thank you for proving beyond any shadow of doubt to all those who don't speak Hebrew, just how terribly HE suffered. What do you suppose a lion would do to your hands & feet? Kiss them? Or Pierce Tear Shred & put Holes All the way through? Pierced through, shredded beyond recogition! There wouldn't be enough space between the piercings for you to be recognized as human. Kindness Would be a simple piercing. Thank you!

If Psalm 22 was transelated accurately there almost nothing in it cause a person to think it refers to Jesus.
"Pierced his hands and feet" (False translation) conjures up the image of Jesus hanging on the cross.
Are you not ashamed at the open dishonesty?
(Besides Psalm 22 is not Mesianic AT ALL. Its one the MANY Psalms by David decrying his many tormentors. See Psalms 9,10, 11 12 13 17 18 etc. In fact I would say the main theme of all of Davids Ps. is about overcomeinghis tormentors)

Pierced His hands & feet? I see no reference to a Cross, Or even Execution Stake! Since YOU shed the light on it, I Prefer "Like a Lion they are at my hands & feet". Where did I admit to "PIERCED" being a Christian translation? I specifically quoted David Sterns 'Complete Jewish Bible' as being the accurate Christin translation!!. Pierced is a King James translation. He was a tyrant & his translators were filled with fear of him. Perhaps he was no more a devout Christian, than Hitler who was Jewish, was a devout Jew.

Sorry. Look up this verse in ANY Christian Bible and they ALL translate it FALSELY as "pierced".
*NIV *New American Standard Bible *English Standard Version, Holman Christian Standard Bible, etc.
And no wonder. Without the "piercing" this psalm is just like the MANY MANY Psalms of David decrying the persecution he suffered at the hands of his foes.
Psalms 60, 64, 70, 71, to name a few at random.
Psalm 22 has NO Messianic connotation AT ALL.
A "piercing" rendering comes in very handy indeed.

Or Isaiah 44:
But hear now, Jacob, My servant, and Israel, whom I have chosen! (2) Thus aid G-d Who made you and fashioned you from the womb, Who will help you: Fear not, My servant, Jacob and Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.
Clearly the "Servant" in Isaiah is Israel as identified many times in times in the previous chapters.

If this is really talking about Israel, then why does the passage say that Israel took our infirmities(v.4)? When did Israel ever take up our infirmities(grief)?
Look at vs. 5 for this next question.
When was Israel ever pierced for our sins? And also in verse 5, how did something Israel suffered in punishment bring any of us peace?!
And again in verse 12, did Israel bare the sins of anyone? Or make intercession for anyone?
This servant can not be Israel. I'm sorry to disagree with you sir.

Who is talking in Isiaih 53? The passage of Isiah 53 follows many other passages which are songs about the servant Israel. Isaiah 41:7, and Isaiah 44:1 clearly tells us who this "servant" is.
Besides it can't be Jesus. Vs 7 says "like a sheep to the slaughter.....open not his mouth." What did Jesus do on the Cross? He accused G-d of abandoning him. "My G-d, My G-d why have You forsaken me?" He was "silent before his shearers"..

vs 5 . The nations are saying "We brought suffering upon Israel for our own selfish purposes; it was not, as we had claimed, that G-d was punishing Israel for its own evil behavior."
See vs 10. "..he will see offspring and live long days" The hebrew word here is "Zera" literaly "seed" - never means spiritual children. "Ben"-"son" can be spiritual as in "You are sons to the L-rd your G-d" Dt. 14:1

How do you see this is Jesus? Many Jews have suffered. Many Jews have died. So he suffered, what does that prove? 6,000,000 Jews were killed, maybe Chapter 53 the "servant" is Israel?
Secondly, look at Isaiah 41:8. The text CLEARLY names the "servant":
"But you, O Israel, My servant, Jacob, you whom I have chosen, offspring of Abraham who loved Me.....(vs 9) I shall say 'You are My servant' - I have chosen you and not rejected you.

To me its plain to see why JESUS cannot really be found in archeology and in history.
it is not because he did not exsist, but rather the world did not except him to be who he said he was, therefore a nobody in the worlds eyes would have no real record of

True. You have to keep in mind that Jesus ministered to the social outcasts of the day. He was not important enough for the historians of the time to document his activities. The Jewish people expected the messiah to come and conquer the world by means of the sword. But, God as always, had bigger and better ideas in mind. The amount of prophecy that predicts the messiah is astounding. Once you begin to read the bible after you accept him, you truely begin to understand God's plan.
