it's a '68 or '69 with a skinny neck. Some people don't like the neck on these. They stopped making the necks like this in '70 I believe.

because I can. I made this vid to show people how easy it is to have fun playing with an open tuning. It's so easy it's not even funny. A couple of people have taken this too seriously. I'm just having fun with very little effort, and it still sounds pretty ok. To hear me play seriously, check out my band on our myspace.

thanks. I like the sound too, and you're right it's a GFS mean 90 humbucker shaped p90.

The bridge is a fixed type, not tune-o-matic. It can be used as a wrap around bridge, but I like the sound better with the strings attached to the tailpiece, which is a vibrato type without the handle.

I'm talking to the guy who never 'seen' slide on a SG.. the first guy I think of, Gary Rossington.. Freebird. Perhaps one of the most famous slide licks of all time.. it's the slide verison of Stairway..
