everyone gurgles Lombardi's jizz and they don't even know why. He left the Packers to coach the Redskins and didn't do shit with them. Plus, Chuck Noll doubled his super bowls getting 2 repeats in six years. And Noll is still the only Head Coach to win FOUR Super Bowls. Need to remember he also drafted hall of famers in '69, '70, '72, and then four future hall of famers in the 1974 draft. LOL people don't do their homework and they look stupid
@DiceCarlinKinison Lombardi's 66' and 67' superbowl teams had Bart Star, Jim Taylor, Paul Hornung, Herb Atterly, Ray Nitschke and im sure im missing another in which were hall of famers. You also forget Coach Lombardi won 5 NFL championships prior to the two superbowls. You sir obviously no nothing about Coach Lombardi. Yes Chuck Noll was a great coach but in reality no one compares to VINCE!
So what game was this? Green Bay in road uniforms - purple wearing cheerleaders - must have been the Vikings or Rams late in the season from the sun angle - but they won all the road Viking games convincingly - so must be the Rams in 1967 who won 27-24. Lee Roy who's not getting his job back is linebacker Lee Roy Caffey I think.. They also lost the next week to the Steelers of all people and went into the postseason on a losing streak. Then they crushed the same Rams in the playoff game!
@dirac33 The game with the Packers in the road unis was the December 3, 1967 game against the Vikings at the Met, a game which the Packers won, 30-27, on a last minute Don Chandler FG. The following week, the Packers wore their home green jerseys in LA against the Rams--who often wore white at home in those days.
