@2twinz - yes S3 is pretty good at the stomp but he didnt make it- in the late 90's early 2000 raves, his moves were pretty commonplace by the 'regulars' who danced every weekend. He didnt invent it but yes he's good at it! 'Long live hard house'!!

To clear up some misconceptions re: brisbane stomp here it did in fact originate from brisbane-Aust. in the late 90's the 'hardest of hard house' djs con't played in bris cause we liked our tunes harder, faster and more bangn than any other state-hence we had to stomp harder to keep up with it! Why do you think all the big name DJ's ( BK, Nick Sentience, Brain Brashers, Tinrib, Lisa Lashes) all played regularly in brisbane? The shuffle was a variation to keep up with softer hard house...

actually i'm almost certain "hardstyle" wasn't around during the late 80's early 90's in Melbourne. the shuffle was adapted as a dance to Acid House and the like.

As for the Brisbane stomp i'm not entirely sure of it's beginning but then again it doesn't have the same sort of cult following Australia-wide (for which i'm glad that's the case.) however Qld does have the highest percentage of pill consumption... i'll let you all do the math. =)
