U2 is such a significant band, not because they have incredible songs and massive concerts. But because their music has a purpose. The top 40 music acts of late should follow the example of U2 because they're not singing about money, "hoes", or "haters". They write about what's important, which by extension: Makes them important.
It's shameful in the 21st century with all the wealth this world has (even in the current economic crisis) that we allow people and especially children to live in the streets like stray animals.
If everyone would realize that if you give 10% of your income out of love to help those who are less fortunate that you will get it back......and more....this world would be such a better place!

I don't get why they included such contrasting lifestyles, one of a rock star & the other of homeless people in such poverty. It kinda makes them look like a-holes. They're sitting on the beach having a drink from a coconut meanwhile a man is sleeping in a box. And this is coming from a HUGE U2 fan!

@ktkman10 Rio is a very violent city; people don´t live there, they survive there. Most of the population is poor; those people suffer with the drug traffic and obbey the third power. Families are destroyed everyday because of the lost bullets, the drug traffic and the violence. People really has to walk on there.

U2 is such a significant band, not because they have incredible songs and massive concerts. But because their music has a purpose. The top 40 music acts of late should follow the example of U2 because they're not singing about money, "hoes", or "haters". They write about what's important, which by extension: Makes them important.

It's shameful in the 21st century with all the wealth this world has (even in the current economic crisis) that we allow people and especially children to live in the streets like stray animals.
If everyone would realize that if you give 10% of your income out of love to help those who are less fortunate that you will get it back......and more....this world would be such a better place!
