I became a huge Lauren Graham fan while watching her in this role as Shelly, the best ditz in television history and easily the funniest character on this show. Love the episode when she was part of an animal rights group that broke into a science facility to free lab animals from captivity.

Amy Pietz is a graduate of The Theatre School at DePaul University. One of Lea Thompson's daughters, Zoey Deutch, is now an actress on The CW's Ringer. There IS a strong resemblance.
