I hope Kimi comes back strong. Unfortunately normally it doesn't turn out that way. Look at previous comebacks like Michael Schumacher, or Jacques Villeneuve. Both great drivers, but came back and had less then par performances. Michael Schumacher still has yet to prove he can even keep pace with Nico Rosberg. I hope kimi proves me wrong.
I don't think we saw Kimi at the top of his game when he left F1, but things move so fast he has already missed out on KERS and DRS, so he would have to get up to speed with them. He won't want to drive for a midfield team (Williams rumor) he will only accept driving for a team at least at the level of Renault or Mercedes. Only top team he might be able to get a drive in would be Red Bull if Webber left, as Rosberg has committed to Mercedes long term and Ricciardo is not ready yet. Comments?

And he did that with a car that clearly wasnt the best on the track, when Fisichella came from Force India to drive as his teammate for the last few races, he said that the car was simply horrible to drive.
Im not saying that Eyebrow is bad driver, just that if he hadnt so much unluck during his Mclaren career, if his car would had not been so unreliable, Alonso would most likely have just 1 championship and Kimi 2.

Damn I miss Super Aguri. Sato overtaking Alonso in Canada is one my favourite moments in F1. It is shame Super Aguri had to pull out of F1 they had a good pair of Drivers in Sato and Davidson.

True champions fight with what they have and never surrender just as Alonso and Lewis did last year and this one against red bull. actually there is an inverse ratio between a fast and reliable car in f1. that year mc laren was extremely fast but unreliable. just as redbulls this year. that year instability of mclarens cost his champ. but that year I'd prefer Kimi's champ to alonso's. because ferrari wldnt have it. my previous comment was for ferrari's sake and with an objective sight. again I dont like them both.

and dont think that I'm defending alonso vs kimi. I'm not a fan of alonso. just a fan of ferrari. I was happy with kimi's champ. I'd also feel happy if alonso won the champ. I'd almost cry when hamilton took the champfrom massa at the last corner of interlagos in 2008. I personally dont like both kimi and alonso. but I cant deny that both of them are good drivers. and actually if I have to prefer one of them my choice would be alonso. because his tech insight is much better than kimi.

@chouzouris Kimi has always said that he would only return if he would get a car that is fast (and reliable) enough to win championship....and Renault is not that car...Now there is only a very small chance that Kimi would go to RedBull in 2012 when Webber is most likely going to retire after next season, but it's still quite unlikely...Kimi seems to be happy out of F1, he got what he was looking for, the championship and fully enjoys rally, despite all the difficulties.

this year alonso was 7 points ahead starting the last race. the second was webber. but both alonso and webber cldnt manage to get enough points and vettel became champion. that was also his luck.
