  • @johnjohnjohnnnn he plucks the strings at the headstock

  • i now have this guitar, fucking rocks!!!!

  • What is it plugged into?

  • Rage Against The Machine - Freedom

    I like this guy.

  • These are flat out awesome guitars!

  • Nice playing ... Great sounding axe ... !!

  • The thing that got me really mad was thet the tremolo dosent work >:( wtf! the 1st kind dident work and now they dident make it for trem use :/ soo lame

  • I want to put a black pickguard on it but I am not sure where to get one.any help?

  • @MrAndyZero Try Pickguard heaven. If they don't make it, no one does.

  • i ordered mine 4.5 mths ago..... finally came and picked her up today. i went blue and i love it! plays great and looks mint! i have a fender cyclone 2 and they look great next to each other. i have a thing for the odd ball guitars!

  • Wow, Powerful style... The E string is crying !

  • japan or usa?

  • @pellerino98 Japan, found on google with 3sec

  • japan or usa??

  • This is how you do a guitar demo--no talking!!!! Nice job. You are demonstrating the guitar and this demo ruled. Thanks.

  • I'd bet guitars fly out of the store this guy works in.

  • finally! a decent guitar demo

  • even though I hate this guitar, I think it disgraces the mustang's name

I wish fender would stop making ALL mustangs in red white and blue -.-

  • Man ! I REALLY want that guitar! My favourite colour and everything...Droolworthy ! Peace Ye`all !!

  • Wish I had enough money I tried this this thing out it's amazing!

  • @svorskemattias can you tell me which song it is,please?

  • @learntofly55 Freedom from their first album :)

  • @svorskemattias ok thanks a lot

  • Hi! I'm sooo in love with this guitar! But I have 2 questions:

-Is this a limited edition? 'cause I have the money only in august/september...

-What are your settings for the rage against the machine sound? It was practically spot on

  • There must be a difference in body shape between mustang pawn shop and original fender mustang. Am I correct?

  • pawn shops are japanese made not mexican which is really nice i think

  • After having tried this guitar I can say that this video really shows the way this guitar is, the sound you hear here is what it's like, the pickups are very thin-sounding, but a good Fender'ish way when splitted. When not splitted they sound REALLY nice and clean but can handle a good amount of overdrive.

Honestly this is actually one of the more versatile Fenders I've tried and I'm clearly thinking of adding it to the tiny collection at home ;)

  • For a minute there I thought he was Ben Stiller.. Great playing and awesome guitar

  • Cobain would had liked that guitar, if it was made in left handed

  • @PoppyWoodProduction im sure fender would have had no problem doing so if he were still alive

  • The red one's on its way. SUPER STOKED!!!!

  • even with a humbucker it still carries that classic fender sound!

  • Great playing, and a great looking/sounding guitar.

  • if I buy that guitar will I be able to play it as good as that guy... unfortunately not :(

  • I've been eyeing the mustang version one. I like the look better than the rest and now that I've seen this, it sounds bloody amazing too.

  • can you split these pickups so there single coil I think every humbucker fender should have that option

  • @wipers86 yes of course you can...i want to buy one immediately because it seems to be quite versatile in sound also including this nice fendery melty sound and i really like its look - but i still can´t decide which colour to choose, it´s so dumb...;)

  • @triclops8 I have a 65 reissue mustang daphne blue the pawn shop guitars are better for the fact you don't have to customize things on it but I'm more happy with my guitar just because of it's look really i like the standard bridge plate or whatever it's called better and changing pickups was no problem my opinion is the blue one is nicer but that's for you to decide i just hope they bring more mustangs out like 69 reissues as well with good pickups in unlike the 65 reissue

  • @wipers86 hey thanks for that interesting answer, i have to say that i agree with you, i like the look of the 65 RI a bit better too, but when i found this one i thought i would have the fendery mustang tone and some more extra options because of the engageable humbuckers as well...so you mean it´s no big deal to bring the 65RI to a comparable level for those things?

  • @triclops8 your going for a better chose man i had a lot of tuning problems with mine witch was frustrating and the way these are made you'll be more happy with one

  • @wipers86 now i´m confused;) so you mean you would recommend the pawn shop over the 65 RI right?sorry, stupid german;)

  • @triclops8 yeah just with the messing you have to go thru with a 65 reissue to stop it going out of tune i don't regret buying it but for tuning the 65 reissue mustangs are the worst but when you lock the vibrato down and stop the bridge rocking back and forth it's a great guitar and stays in tune like any other guitar that's why I'd tell any one to buy a pawnshop mustang

  • @wipers86 yes meanwhile i heard several 65 ri owners talking about that issue on the internet meanwhile. have you checked out the pawn shop mustang yourself yet?

  • i just ordered a blue one!!! it should be a good mate to my cyclone 2. i don't imagine fender will make this line for a long time.

  • That was the best video ever. Finally the Mustang gets what it deserves...awesome tone! BTW, very cool at 1:35.

  • if this had the pick up blend control that the 72 has then it would be amaaazing.

  • I'M GETTING THIS BEAUTY!! BUT I CAN'T DECIDE: RED OR BLUE!?!?

    HELP PLZ!!! :'(

  • @DJEruMx CAR all the way mate ;)

  • @ilmisxx2 THANKS :P I THINK SO

  • @DJEruMx RED man!!! it's gotta be the red!!! great now even I'm second guessing myself @_@

  • @bloc22 YES I GOING FOR THE RED (HOPEFULLY) BY THE END OF JUNE :D

  • @DJEruMx I still don´t know which colour to choose though it´s getting silly now...;) in between I was thinking about buying an original on ebay but now I´m quite sure to get one of these, I guess some issues that would have been fixed with an old one wouldn´t be there with these one´s and they are more versatile in sound

  • @triclops8 YES IT'S KIND OF TRICKY TO PICK THE COLOUR FOR THIS ONE, BUT I THINK I'VE MADE MY DECITION, AND YEA YOU SHOULD GET THIS MUSTANG, IT'S VERY VERSATILE AND IT WON'T BE IN THE MARKET FOR LONG ( I GUESS), SO IN THE FUTURE IT WILL BE WORTH MUCH MORE THAN IT IS NOW FOR BEING AN "SPECIAL EDITION"

  • @DJEruMx yes you could be right, it won´t be a mistake to hurry up a bit;) maybe I should throw a coin for the colour thing;) would like to order one next week

  • @triclops8 YES THROWING A COIN WIL HELP ;) GOOD LUCK...

  • @DJEruMx yeah!! it´s gonna be the RED one! ;)

  • That was a fantastic demonstration. Thanks. Now I want another guitar.

  • I want the blue 1 in this. this thing is a beautie.

  • I really need to know, is it made in US ?

  • @zeLudoo its made in Japan

  • Whick one of RATM songs is that? I forgot the name...

  • @fuckyeahmothafucka "Freedom"

  • The best demos going... no yak, all play, not explaining the obvious

  • Great playing! this guitar has some pretty awesome sounds! and for that price, around 750 euros it's way more versatile than any other fender model of that price range or am I wrong?

does anyone know which chords are used in this first grooves?

  • @WhatWasItYouWanted It's Green flower street by Donald Fagen of The Nightfly album. Don't know the exact chords though. The basic groove is a G# dimished triad (g#, b, e ) over an A bass note resolving more or less in an A minor triad.

  • @Evertzeevalkink Thx a lot!

  • Very cool demo! And quite a tasteful selection!

  • Holy chops...

  • i really want to have this guitar.

  • @punkcoustic have you received it yet? please tell us how you like it

  • I want one.

  • I am so buying this one... one day, anyway x)

    Awesome playing.

  • YES! I personally feel the Mustang is the best of the 3 Pawn Shop series guitars by a mile and a half. Very nice playing!

  • i love the mustang!
