Thats because americans are poorly educated in other countries traditions and heritage.
Im from England and love watching the Haka no matter where it is done and i certainly dont laugh at it.
The same with the Scottish and their bagpipes, listening to that really gets the blood pumping, i guess thats because my dad is scottish.
