  • Gawd I wish I was black... Damn can those girls sing!!

  • I'm doing this for a play, and I'm the one one the far right in the beginning:)

  • Tisha Campbell is so AMAZING!!!

  • The plant just wanted one Drop. For starters...

  • lol its so cute how audrey II's back leaf is wagging around like a happy dog :)

  • @bomen168 Being as the Dynamites and the Greek Chorus in this show play pretty much the exact same role and are both wearing what would have been in style at the time, just as much as anyone else.

  • I still like Ya Never Know from the stage play more. Just saying!

But this one is still super fun!

  • if i were seymour i would throw the plant to the garbage as soon as i discovered it wanted my blood!! it was obvious it wouldn´t end good ):

  • @Angelwings121 No, mushnik would of killed him, as they already got like 10 customers because of it.

  • I love the music in this film but I especially love these three sistas singing. For three young girls, whew their voices was awesome!

  • I answer the phone

Me- yes you have the wrong number

Girls-the persons got the wrong number NOW

    Me- SHUT THE HECK UP

  • @cowlovers48 is that part in the movie?

  • I wish I had my own little group of ladies following me around and randomly singing the ovious situations in my lif:/

  • @cityCRUNK You mean you don't?! I thought everyone did...... >_>

  • lol its the dynamites from Hairspray !!!

  • I wish these ladies would follow me around providing my life with constant musical commentary ^_^

  • @BohemianRhapsody17 LOL! That would be so awesome. Myself, I wish I could rock a red outfit like that to work. But I work in an office and people would probably frown upon it. :P

  • Hot Damn!

  • The woman from my wife and kids is so gorgeous!

    Cheers.

  • LMBO!

  • would love to see the cast of this movie doing "Time Warp" from rocky horror...would totally make my day!

  • these three were always my favorite part of this movie.

  • Cool movie! Ellen Greene's singing is terrific.

  • .I love this movie@!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hot damn

  • @startswithC haha

  • I still love this 80s musical movie Little Shop Of Horrors. The reason why I love this movie is because there's singing. & it has the Greek Chorus!

  • They' re just like the muses from disney' s hercules. Love' em!

  • Comment removed

  • what instrument plays the solo?

    is it steel calypso drums?

  • OMG Yall Evere Watched My Wife And Kids Or Kid And Play....The Light Skined Girl Is Tisha Cambell !!!!!!!!!

    Yippie I Jus Noticed That!

  • @candiiapple15 Yeah! I seriously didn't notice that until recently. Also, if you've watched Everybody Hates Chris, the skinny dark-skinned girl in Tichina Arnold, aka Chris's mother. Its so strange how when u look at them now u can hardly believe they sang once. :\

  • the whole time in the movie i thought they were saying "samba now" hahahaha thank you for clearing this up lol

  • looooove this film!!!

  • idk i always thought this was just filler...

  • I love the "SOME FUN NOW" part that's in harmony, and Tisha Campbell hits that HIGH SOPRANO!!!

  • these girls are aweeeesome!!! love, love, LOVE them!!!

  • Do you think Ya Never Know could have worked well in this film?

  • Very underrated movie. Watch it again. Beautifully shot....and that opening!

  • The light skinned one is tisha campbell. She was on martin, and in all of those corny house party films.

  • Isn't "Ya Never Know" slightly slower than this song?

  • I love the voice of the ligther skinned woman but they sound so good together! Very fiesty

  • @googoop You must mean Tisha Campbell-Martin from "Martin", "My Wife and Kids"...etc. Yeah, she's killin that soprano!

  • @bigjoy I thought I was the only one noticed those notes at the end

  • the chorus is the best part in this song...

  • this is best song in the movie!

  • What is this I hear about them making a remake of this?! I shall not stand for it! This is blasphemous! This is madness!

  • @DaichisMonkeyGirl Madness...THIS. IS. SPA-aw, screw it.

  • @molemanninethousand Hahaha, somebody actually tried to say it!

  • this movie brings back so many memories. Someone should do a remake of this movie to show younger generations.

  • I have heard they are actually doing a remake of this. But it wont be anywhere as good as this one.

  • @blkwj1 yea, Audrey II is probably gonna be CGI if theu decide not to use puppets like they did in this movie. It was some pretty amazing animatronics.

  • the final Audrey 2 weighted something around a ton. And took 100 operators to work. They also had to film at 1/4 speed whenever Audrey 2 was in the frame. Otherwise they couldnt move Audrey fast enought.

  • @blkwj1 wow, thats pretty complicated mechanics. Good thing it wasnt as bad as the Jaws puppet, which kept going through difficulties throughout production of "Jaws".

  • @Gamera35 Remake?! Why? Why not rerelease the film?

  • @alcockell Younger audiences would complain for no reason

  • @alcockell that would be AWESOME if they re-released it I would dress up and sing a long !!!!

  • I Wanna Have Fun!

  • How funny that a bum is just laying there and no one even notices?

  • i like this but the song Ya Never Know in the play is better!

  • hot damn!

  • This is my favorite musical movie.

  • Am I the only one who prefers Ya Never Know to Some Fun Now?

  • no, i completely agree

  • did they use real blood?

its a pin prick so i feel they might

  • Its that women from my wife and kids! God, she's beautiful then and now :) haha!

  • 1:07 Poor Seymour looks like he's thinking, "Fun, my ass." He looks like he's about to pass out, the sweetheart! :P

  • I love the biff wham pow part in the other song!

  • loving the bass lines!

  • Trust you ain't the only one

  • Isn't the song You Never KNow?

  • Kind of. The tune in the beginning is the same and the lyrics are similar, but Ya Never Know definitely didn't have the caribbean feel that this does.

  • but Ya Never Know has four verses

  • this is also true

  • haha

  • no YOU NEVER KNOW was written for the new show they did take some elements from this song SOME FUN NOW

  • Actually, YA NEVER KNOW was in the original Off-Broadway musical version, which is what this movie is based on.

    So...it's the other way around

  • the beat has a carribean flavor to it..then it has the mexican cut to it with the trumpets.

  • No it doesn't.

  • did u do some fun now or ya never know? I think ya never know is better than some fun now though!

  • You never know. It was way better. Lol I got booed three times. Sorry guys!

  • I'm sorry! Why did you get booed three times?

  • i totally agree.

  • honey i doubt it.

  • Some fun now! HOT DAMN

Ain't he havin' some fun now? YES MA'AM

i always lol at that part for some reason

  • my fav part! :)

  • that plant seymoure has looks like a piranah plant from super mario brothers.

  • @gamermik76 lmbooo

  • @JenniBabi2010 okay

  • @gamermik76 Can you please mind your language?

  • @gamermik76 What's funny about that is, this came before the Nintendo ent. system hit the market. AND you are totally right it does!. I think that also means that the piranha were made to look like Audrey II. Thats Awesome!!

  • @TheatreLife4Me84 no kidding

  • @TheatreLife4Me84 oh cool

  • @gamermik76 It does? It reminds me a little bit of the audio animatronic fly traps from Haunted Mansion Holiday at Disneyland Resort.

  • @gamermik76 lol! It does.

  • @mermaidamp cool

  • @gamermik76 the piranah plant was based on it lol

  • @shockywatt thanks for letting me know me

  • @gamermik76 Just to clarify, the human's name is Seymour, the plants name is Audrey II

  • @americancowgirl94 thanks

  • @gamermik76 well since Little Shop Of Horrors was out first, that's probably where Super Mario Brothers got the idea for that plant.

  • @GoldenFrog i hear you

  • @GoldenFrog

Actually honestly, the man eating flytrap plant has always been a standard cliche of sorts since well, the flytrap was discovered.

  • Awesome song! Gruesome Image!

*Sees Seymour "feeding" the plant in this song*

  • Those girls are the best =)

  • im doing this for my year six production and im one of the girls but there are 21!

  • O_O how do y'all do the "Downtown" number when the shopkeep tells y'all stop loitering?

"I wasn't loitering was you chiffon? No, was you *insert 19 names here*"

  • LOL

  • haha

we have different ppl doing that

  • i saw this a week ago and i got this 1 playin in my head over and over lol :]

  • I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!

  • this one never gets old. i still love it.

  • Awesome song! One of my favorites from the movie! :)

  • This is my damn song!

  • These girls are great, love them.

  • @Yecats17 So does my dad. He finds them better than the muses from Walt Disney's Hercules.

  • @Yecats17 My dad likes them, too. They sound like cowgirls in western movies. He finds them better than the muses from Walt Disney's Hercules.

  • Oh my O.o ... at 1:07

  • XDDDD

  • ..perve..LOL

  • I mean how all tjime he been feeding with his blood to the plant all night!! DX

  • some fun now!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Although the stage version of this song is good, I think this more up-tempo one with the altered lyrics works great with the clips of Seymour having exactly the opposite of the song's title. Great scene.

  • This is my fav song from this movie. Hot damn!!

  • the extended version. :)

  • like i commented and said on another video....

I JUST LOVE THOSE GIRLS WHEN THEY SING BECAUSE THEY HARMONIZE SO WELL AND CAN HIT SOME HIGH NOTES, ESPECIALLY TOWARDS THE END OF THIS SONG, AND THE OTHER SONG WHEN SEYMORE FEEDS THE PLANT TO MAKE THE PLANT GROW. I CAN'T REMEMBER THE NAME OF THAT SONG, BUT THEY CAN SANGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!

  • i want the longer song!!!!! =)

  • Do u mean "Ya Never Know" or the sort of extended version of "Some Fun Now?"

  • I love their "oh boy"!

This song is great.. too bad that it's too short

  • but Ya Never Know is longer!!!

  • Doesn't look like hes having fun

  • LOL... That's the point of the song... He should be having now... But in reality he can't because the plant which should be allowing him to have some fun, is causing him nothing but hardship.

  • lmao @ your username

  • it is a great musical-scene...

    i like the song...

    [a little bit short]

  • I think were having some fun now. It seems to shift the mood after Somewhere That's Green, an emotional tune, to Some Fun Now being filled with a rocky beat. It's what I call a recovery tune since it really picks up the mood from a previous let-down. The chorus girls really seems to have chemistry here through the "talk-singing" that was previously seen during the Skid Row scene, proving that they don't just sing. The song is a show stopper and a little unecessary but it sounds good. 3.5 stars.

  • Also allows the bassist to limber up before some quite detailed filngerstyle stuff during "Dentist"... to allow some blistering slapping during Git It...

  • if you watch in the backround the sign blinks oz the derectors last name

  • dang I wish this song was longer...definetely my favorite one

  • I love how Audrey II wags his leaf like a happy dog wags his tail

  • not at all

  • I love this vid

  • lol me and my sisters were thesse girls for holloween. only the older people knew whio we were.

lol damn kids now a days!

    XD

  • A friend and I want to be them next year. We just need a third lol

  • lmao look at tachina arnold when they r doing the some fun now part....she looks so getty it was soo cute. Like a kid in a candy shop.

  • Do any of yal even notice Pam & Gina from "The Martin Lawrence Show"?

    :o

YEP,Those two nuts are singing in the back.

    lol

  • It looks like Syemour is having the oppisit of FUN!

  • noone even notice the singing girls!

  • they are back up i think they m,afde the movie like that 4 fun

  • these gals can sing!

  • dude if Audrey II was sucking on a open wound how long do you think it will take before you lose consciousness?

  • I think he pulled his finger out before it got to be too much...

  • well in the play he ends up aneamic :P

  • ok this is a weird question but does he die from that or does audry two eat him or does he live cause i can't remember)

  • in the movie he lives but at the end of the play he jumps into audrey 2 with a machete/axe/whatever the director wants to use, and it eats him. he tries to kill it after it eats audrey and tries to take over the world but he fails miserably and it burps out his glasses :P

  • Hiya! I survey YOUTUBE users and get their opinon on random things. There are no wrong answers. Here's the question.

    QUESTION:

Do you think that Seymour and Audrey make a great couple?

This is a yes or no question. Please tell me your answer on MY channel. NOT this video. It's sometimes hard to find your answer. You can comment about the surveys, ask questions, and more. So...yes or no?

  • no...i think by the look on his face he's having the opposite of fun.

  • well they just changed the words from "it goes to show you now" and even though the happy ending isnt true to the story, i still kinda like it, cuz the other ending was to depressing for the musical

  • It's "don't it go to show!"

  • r u kiding not only was teh original ending disturbing as hell but seymor didn't even avenge audrey that usually happens in good movies.

  • 1 of them is the mom from everybody hates chris

  • Yep, Trichina. The skinny dark skinned one. =]

  • yeah dude.. it's tisha campbell .. the pam chick from martin.. and i don't know the other girl

  • Tisha Campbell is he light skinned one. Tishina is the skinny dark skinned one from every body hates Chris. Tisha Cambell plays in My Wife and Kids with Damon Wayans.

  • I believe the 3 singers, MAKE the movie! =]

  • Well, you can't ignore the magnificent puppetry, Levi Stubbs voiceover for Audrey II, the cameos by Bill Murray and Steve Martin, the set design and costumes, the score itself. I'll continue to watch this dozens of times because I love it!

  • these chicks are jammin ain't they??

  • they relly are

  • these chicks are jammin ain't they??

  • these chicks are jammin aint they?

  • they are fantastic singers :)

  • I love this song, I'm amazed the three of them weren't even 18 when this movie was made

  • I love this song it is so cute and they were doin there thing

  • I love this song but I love Ya Never Know better!

  • shake that but dude

  • Erm, Tisha was singing alto here.

  • nope...soprano

  • on parts, but at the end she was singing soprano
