Another great thing to do with a dead beloved pet is to have it skinned and have a taxidermist preserve the skin and display it in a pose of your choice. Then you'll have a part of your pet always sitting , standing , or laying by your side looking lifelike still. Just as long of course it's kept in a proper environment. A protective glass case to house it in maybe to keep it dust and bug free. Of course you'd need the money to get it all done as well.
