Nice, was it alot louder in the cab or not really. I just put a thrush welded muffler on my 98 dodge ram 3.9 v6 and it sounds great, it got quite a bit louder in the cab tho. Love the sound.

armyramy if you still havent done it, the pipes are 2.5'' on the Rams, I got my glasspack for $23 at advance auto, and with clamps hangers and some pipe the total cost was $48.

when i want to cut off a muffler or tailpipe, i go to O'Reilly and rent a pipe cutter tool, they give you your money back when you return it so it's free, and in the kit they give you it includes a flaring tool to make fitting a new muffler or tailpipe a lot easier, the pipe cutter i find i can fit it in tighter spots than a sawzall

Cool. There's nothing like taking a new glasspack out onto the road. I did same thing to my 2000 v8 dakota. I sawzalled at the front and put on duals with thrush glass packs. It's quiet and mellow in the cab at highway speed, but when you step on it, it really cracks. It's gotten quite a few compliments.
