im astounded by the illogical manner in which the voiceover declares 'im a big kid now' while having this 'big' kid hug the leg of what must be a monstruously gargantuan giant.

More then that. The ad was made in 1992. They had to be at least 3 or 4 at the time. So more like 23-25 years old.
